This Aldi (Hiram, GA) is disgusting. I don't do reviews, but I love Aldi and hope for a management, etc. change. It stinks like rotting food and it is the dirtiest Aldi I've ever seen. I don't think they've cleaned the check out machines in months and it doesn't seem like they've cleaned the floor with actual cleaner in months either! I will opt to drive 35-45 min away to a different one until things change. Really gross. read more

I feel like the produce here can be better than what it is in the regular grocery stores sometimes. I like that. They have an unusual selection of brands that you won't see at other stores. Great place to stock up on dry goods. Everyone who works there is really nice. It's not as clean as I like, but it's not bad. Great location right off of Wendy Bagwell in Hiram. And if you're ever searching For a pumpkin during Halloween or Thanksgiving, theirs are super cheap. And they are giant. read more

At first glance ALDI's seems like they have some great sales, but in all honesty, the high prices of everything else just is not worth even walking in through the door. I think the quarter for a buggy thing is cool, and keeps carts from being scattered throughout the parking lot, but the store design is just a mess, from entrance to checkout. The products were stocked, but their selection is just lacking. It's either what they offer or go somewhere else. I do not know why people shop here on the regular, when other places are bigger and have a wider variety. I feel like going here is paying for the experience of saying that you shopped at ALDI's, but that's just me. The checkout people were nice, but I think it is stupid that you either have to bring your own bags or pay for them when you checkout. read more

It's ok if you like bringing your own bags, bagging your own groceries. The prices are low, but I think they are the same as Walmart. The store is very small , but that's great for a bit of variety. Not everyone wants to shop in a large store. I happen to be out and about as usual. I thought it would be a great place to grab a few snacks for the ride. They have brand names and off brands. I was surprised about the gluten free and organic choices. Make sure your GF family member isn't allergic to the dairy that is in many GF foods. The store was clean, but the appearance needs brightening up. May be the dullness is part of the savings. If you've never shopped there before, be prepared to put a quarter in the shopping cart. This ensures you will put the cart back. I wonder how many customers say forget that quarter, I'm not putting the cart back in place. Just curious..LOL read more

I love Aldi for their low prices, and great deals on everyday items. There are items that I prefer to buy from Aldi rather than Walmart because of Aldi's lower prices. I don't mind paying 25 cent for a cart because I know I will get that quarter back once I return the cart. I also don't mind bringing my own bags, and bagging my own groceries. This is what helps keep the prices low. The staff at this Aldi are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Here is what I don't like about Aldi: 1. They don't carry absolutely everything you might need. For example, they may sell diapers, but no baby food. That was just an example. I don't need those items anymore:) 2. They don't take credit cards. I had no idea until I went one evening just before they closed for the night. I was happy thinking that not only did I make it in before they closed, but I also did all of my shopping before they did close. When I attempted to pay, my credit card was rejected. I was then told that they don't accept credit cards. They only take cash or debit. I didn't have my debit card, so I had no choice but to leave dejected and empty handed. Despite those two flaws, in my opinion, I am a fan of Aldi! read more

I haven't been in this store for a while. Wow! Nice upgrade! The store looks cleaner and brighter. The food looks more appealing, wonderful change indeed. The only negative is the cashiers - just one in particular. She was stationed at the end, by the employees door. Not friendly. She gave me no greeting. She made me feel like she didn't want to ring me up. When you work with the public, you must show the customer they're appreciated. She didn't even say anything when she gave me my receipt - bad customer service. The other cashiers are wonderful. I'll come back to shop but i don't deserve to be treated like that so I'll just make sure I go to one of the other cashiers read more

On my last visit, a worker there was tossing the avocados to the bin from far away (they are green and not ready to eat), I feel so bad!!! Omg!!! You don't do that to avocados, or produce in general! If you buy them you won't notice that they are damage, you will see that later, but again, it's crime against good food doing that!! Please don't do that! ; in general I like the store! read more

Been hearing about this Aldi place for quite some time now and I finally decided to stop in as i am going on Walmart strike next week...those bastards...but any way. I dropped in....... and was surprised. I dont like the fact that you have to pay for your own cart and your bags, but hey, they have got to recoup cost someway. The produce was fresh, the prices are amazing. I got 12 16oz cups of Fit & Healty Yogurt for 2 dollars!!! Yes, two bucks. They were on sale. I grabbed a private-label frozen Lasaugna, took it home, popped it in the oven and man was it good. The kids left me only a spoonful. Think I will be going back. Good Job Aldi. The service was nice, the cashiers sit down and rings up up which is differnt for me, but hey she was nice and swift so I had no problem with that. Great Job ALDI, Great job. read more

Best way to save money on groceries, and they even have a bunch of organic and gluten free options!

First of all, the prices are lower than Walmart. Second of all, yes a buggy takes a quarter but when you return it to the stand outside you get your quarter back, so they are not recouping any money on the buggy. You can buy a paper bag for a nickel if you happen to forget yours, or pick up an empty box in the store and use it. If you get there early in the morning you get a better choice of produce (they get a truck in every night), and I always go there first to get what I can at a lower price. From there I go to Walmart to get what Aldi doesn't have. read more
