    Shrimp shumai
    Desiree F.

My clients picked this spot for lunch. I called in my order of the shrimp shumai and the salmon bento box. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked into a busy house. I told the lady I was there for pick-up and the food was ready. I paid and left. I took my food home and ate when I got in. The shrimp shumai was very tasty and the salmon teriyaki box was also very good. The food was very filling. I would return for sure.

I usually come here for lunch. The food is always super fresh and made to order. My go to is the teriyaki salmon bowl with brown rice, Romain lettuce, cucumber and avocado. (Try it thank me later) they are pretty pricey my order is usually$16 Be warned this place gets kinda crowded during lunch hours. Their smoothies are super yummy too!

    Food for Life Special

Went for Lunch Food - 3/5. The food for life special sandwich sounded really good on paper but it was pretty disappointing when received. The sandwich felt hard and dry overall and I think it mostly had to do with the meager amount of filling. Chicken was very thin resulting in a hard exterior and dry interior and the crunch I expected from the apples were non-existent due to there only being one layer of paper-thin apples slices. Not a good sandwich. Service - 4/5. The place was packed but the service was quick with processing orders and delivery of the food. Value - 2/5. As expected of the area, the prices are on the higher end. Prices should match the value of what you are getting and $6.50 for a small, disappointing sandwich is just not worth it. Parking - Private Lot (Free)

Open field with avocado provolone mayo on a wrap but instead of beef I asked for chicken cutlet!! Try it out!!
    Jennifer P.

The food is super clean and so delicious. My favorite is the open field. I substitute the beef to chicken cutlet once in a while and change the cheese to provolone and add mayo also. Mmm. It's busier during lunch time so I usually order ahead. Definitely if you want something healthy you can come here also. I love the brown rice bowl with grill chicken and vegetables. Oh~~ they also have sushi options!

A hit for a fast casual meal!…read more Even though we stepped in midday, there was still a decent selection of bagels in the display case. I ordered the Santa Fe egg white sandwiches, which came on one of their aptly named 'Asiago thintastic' bagels. When toasted, it was crackly on the outside with a distinct aged cheese flavor. It supposedly comes with roasted tomato salsa and spicy jalapeño salsa cream cheese; I don't know if I saw those distinct additions, but there was a zingy schmear of something that tasted like pimiento cheese that added incredible flavor. They were also perfectly amenable to my request to swap out the turkey sausage with a standard sausage patty. My husband opted for their healthier options. The Avocado Egg white sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a fold of egg whites, was also delicious. Our order only took minutes, but everything was hot and fresh and I especially loved how melty the cheese in our sandwiches got. The name suggests they specialize in bagels and breakfast sandwiches, but there's a fair spread of hot sandwiches on the menu as well. There's plenty of seating inside this cavernous dining room, with both counters and tall stools by the windows or two- and four-top tables throughout. Bathrooms are also available at the very rear of the restaurant. In a strange and somewhat ironic twist, pets aren't allowed inside, but they sell dog treats (beef-based and adorably shaped into bagel shapes) by the counter.

There is enough space for quite a few diners. So much so, I never feel cramped at whichever table I choose. Most recently, I had their BLT. It is a filling sandwich, but maybe not always as balanced as I'd like (could use more B), that comes with a bag of chips. Perfect for when I want something other than a bagel. Followed is a draft review from months ago, that I completely neglected to publish... I've come here pretty much every morning this week. While I previously sampled more of their menu, what I get is pretty simple, especially compared to what they have on offer. I get a plain bagel with scallion cream cheese and a drink. My drink order has ranged from an iced coffee to one of their 'Chillerz' frozen drinks. The scallion cream cheese is literally bursting with flavor! Each bite has juicy slivers of green onion. The spread being so rich in flavor is why I get it on a plain bagel, anything else would be overwhelming. The ice coffee is a self service situation. The brew is strong and occasionally slightly bitter. I combat that with half & half and some sugar/stevia. I've had the Frozen Caffe Caramel and Wildberry smoothie from the Chillerz menu. I'm more fond of the berry drink as the coffee didn't have enough of a caramel taste for me.

The other option i got was butter chicken it was okay probably a 7.2/10 wasn't anything over the top, im indian so I've had a lot of butter chicken in my life and I know when it stands out. The fries are frozen fries which aren't anything unique like a 5/10 they should get some curly fries or waffle fries just a thought for them to stand out more. The people and atmosphere are great so for customer service and everything overall is top notch. Just a few thoughts tho from my experience.

My wife…read moreordered the Nashville chicken sandwich with fries and I did the same in rice platter version and they were legit! 1. ATMOSPHERE (5/5) - Clean, no non-sense vibe that leans utilitarian but hey, you're here for quick bite! 2. FOOD (5/5) - Chicken was juicy, well-seasoned (not too salty!) with right amount of heat (I ordered medium spicy and taste was bolder and better vs. wife's mild which felt a bit bland) and their pickle gave a nice counterbalance. Fries were slightly "old" but full of potato flavor with that peanut oil, and the rice, the RICE in my bowl... together with the mild coleslaw (not too sweet, heavy-sauced, or acidic) was just... making symphony in my mouth. It was seriously delicious... rice... like what?! It had like that subtle halal flavor, gentle bite, and carried sauce well. So while I thought I'd never say this, I enjoyed the rice platter version of the Nashville hot chicken over the sandwich version. Sandwich version was ever so slightly dry in comparison as well. 3. SERVICE (4/5) - Only docking point because it took a bit long (15 min) for this type of food, but my man at the counter was very nice and hooked me up with free soda. He also mentioned royalty program which I misheard as telling me to pick any beverage (wife told me later), which was a nice touch. (Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude!) All in all with leftover to spare for next lunch, this was a surprisingly great meal. I'll definitely be back to try the smashed burgers! I never knew they were here though the guy told me they've been here for a few years at least... Well, now I know! Show Zalim some love ya'll and enjoy some GREAT Nashville hot chicken RICE BOWL and sando!

The sign "Fresh Taste Deli" made me believe this would be the place I have been searching for! I went inside, and asked the lady at the register what their best seller was. She told me the hot food was their best seller. She showed me the food she had out, including some white rice, pinto beans, chicken, ribs, penne, and a few other things. None of it looked particularly appetizing. In their defense, it was after 2PM and so most of it had probably been sold by then. I was in the mood for a good deli sandwich though, piled high with freshly sliced cold cuts. I went with the Italian combo, thinking that would be a solid choice. The menu stated you could get it on a roll for $5 or a hero for $6. I asked her what the difference in size was, and she said they were pre-made and they only had the heroes available. Pre-made sandwiches in a place that calls itself "Fresh Taste Deli"???? NOOOOO!!! I got it anyways, disappointed. I asked her to add some mayonnaise and oil/vinegar. It wasn't awful, for a pre-made sandwich. But I would have liked to have been able to add some hot sauce, red onions, skip the cheese, and customize it. Also, the bread was a little too bread-y (can't think of a better word). I will never go back here. And I will continue my search for the best deli - so I don't have to keep heading down to Central Jersey to find one! :(
