#8 turkey, mozzarella, and roasted peppers $10
    Vanessa A.

This is a no frills deli. They offer hot and cold sandwiches and a few salads. There was a steady line on Saturday around 1pm. They have parking in the back. The #1 is definitely the most popular. It was ordered by most people waiting for sandwiches while I was there, as well as the chicken parm. I ordered the #1 and #8. #1 is their Italian sub; it comes with 5 types of meat and 2 types of cheese. There is a slice of each. I would've preferred less types of meat and more of them. I added lettuce, tomato, onion and oil and vinegar. It's 50 cents more for the lettuce and tomato. The sandwiches are reasonably priced. The two sandwiches and a small mozzarella salad was $26. CASH ONLY! My mom ate the #8. She said there was a lot of turkey but there was nothing special about the sandwich. The fresh mozzarella was great in the salad and on the sandwich.

This is best Italian ma and pa deli around. They are so old school and only take cash. Walk across to well Fargo for cash. Lines up are long during lunch. The bread is so fresh. So fresh even the next day it tastes like it just came from the oven. The cheese! Fresh Mozerella yes please. Secret parking at the back or open street parking. Summer time you can walk ten for fresh ice cream from this pink house. Cosmo is your guy for deli sandwiches. Chicken parm oh my god so beautiful so elegant just wow wow wow!!

The best! A friend told me they had the best Italian subs, and they do! First I love that their bread is crusty and light and is freshly made! (I'm allergic to barley, so I'm so happy I can eat their fresh bread which does not contain that ingredient.) I tried the #1 which is the Italian sub with different salami, meat, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lettuce spicy pepper, and onion. Loved it!! Also the Italian tuna was so good! Delicious tuna (no Mayo needed!) with capers and spicy peppers. Yum! I will be back!

The most delicious Italian sandwiches! Stopped here for lunch with hubby during the week. Everything is always fresh & the bread is incredible. Make sure you have cash because it's cash only!

#4 $8.95 as pictured. Awesome sandwich!

Certainly not 3 years since I was last here, but it's been way too long! Cosmo & staff are still behind the counter serving up outstanding sandwiches! The #4 I ordered today couldn't have been better! I usually only eat half a sandwich at a sitting, but today "I can't believe I ate the whole thing"! Keep your plastic cards at home and bring cash to pay for a great sandwich! Mangia!

Hands down, my favorite deli in Jersey! Family owned and run and the food is just so good every time!

I am writing here today to warn all my fellow Foodies out there that there is a terrible, impending problem rapidly taking place here in Bergen County (North NJ) And it's the dwindling amount of REAL Italian delis ( salumeria) in our area. I'm taking about the ones with huge cheese and salamis' hanging from the ceiling. Pictures of Italian soccer teams on the walls. Grocery items from (my forefather's land ) Italy. I grew up in an area of eastern Bergen County that you couldn't walk a block without seeing one after the other. I'd say there are MAYBE 10 good ones left in the whole county and Cosmo's makes a lot of Best of " lists. Small place with parking in the rear. They only take cash but it goes a long way. Recently we orders 3 ( approx 8") heroes on real crusty Italian bread, 2 sides of potato salad, 3 sodas, and 2 bags of Italian cookies\ crackers and it was about $40. I'd say this tops the list if we're talking $$ as you could feed an army pretty cheap. Italian combos, Meatball or chicken parmigiana, plenty of options to chose from. Open 7 days a week ( closed Sundays in July and August). You can call ahead too to have orders ready to go. It's not just a sandwich, it's a "sangwich"!

Really great bargain for the size of the sandwiches you get! Bring cash! Simple Menu and offer suggested sandwich combos!

Best Italian deli in the area. Their bread is super flavorful, and the meatball and chicken parm heroes taste great on it.

Good, consistent quality food and service. Parking is a bit tricky at times but it's worth the hassle.

Old school solid Italian Deli. Small menu, well executed by the master. I had the Spicy Italian, but I hear the Porchetta is the prize.

When I was in there, I saw the stuffed bread. After a bit of a conversation about what was in them I opted to get two of them one with broccoli Rabe And one with mixed vegetable vegetables. Boy were we both unhappy with what we got. My boyfriend's father found his braciole and sauce to be so salty it was inedible. He likes food and he is rarely disappointed in an Italian meal. But he said it was so bad that he couldn't even eat it. He ended up throwing it away. I was equally disappointed. Maybe more so. There was no way that vegetable roll was made that day let alone any sooner than two days before. It was so stale. It was hard as a rock. And I hadn't even heated it up. I cut into it right after I brought it home. It also tasted stale. I ended up throwing it away too. Broccoli Rabe roll was a tad better. It wasn't hard as a rock. But it wasn't fresh either. It tasted meh. The only thing I was happy with are the prepackaged taralli. They were imported and were lovely. Go there for the prepackaged imported food products. Don't waste your money on the dicey homemade food experience.
