How else can a half gal of milk, one bottle of Gatorade, and a box of Mac & cheese come to $24? There's resort premiums and then there's downright thievery. I'd give Dave and his store 6 stars if I could. I don't get the bad rep here--have been here 4 times, and Dave was super awesome and friendly every time! This is a great small market in the Park City Village (the only one) that has milk, frozen food, alcohol, sundries and tons of snacks. Dave is great! read more

There is no beating the convenience of this place if you are staying nearby. They pack a lot in this little store, but miss some obvious necessities (no sweetener for coffee). The weird thing is that there are no prices on anything anywhere. For sure I'm willing to pay for convenience, and maybe I don't mind paying $5 for a Gatorade every now and then. Things do have prices; they scan everything (presumably for inventory control) - it's just a secret. read more

Tourists beware. They charged me over $16 for a flimsy fridge magnet. I did not have my reading glasses with me so thought it was $6. when I realised the price, I went back for a refund but they would not give me a refund. Avoid. read more

I wanted to buy cereal for my daughter. I needed to put my coffee (with a lid) on the counter to get my wallet out of my jacket (which was over my arm because it is spring). The coffee was on the counter and stable. It did not tip or spill. She insisted that I could not put my coffee on the counter because sometimes they spill. When I explained that I was just getting my wallet and needed two hands, she said that my child, who was already holding a hot chocolate with two hands, should hold the *hot* coffee for me. If that's not an accident waiting to happen, I don't know what is! I decided to walk out. Would never purchase anything there. NOTE: Previous reviewer said that this is the only market in the village, which is not true. There is the Corner Store, for one. read more

I was concerned about this place after reading the reviews but they could not be more off base. I spent a week near here and went in almost every day. The staff who assisted me were always pleasent the and the prices were typical of a ski resort area. Not sure what all the negativity is for. read more

I wish I could select less than one star! I just had the distinct displeasure of visiting Food for Thought. You no what? When I reached checkout it sure was "Food for Thought" .... Just exactly how did a box of cereal, a few snacks, some orange juice, Advil and a few pieces of fruit, that looked like they were nearing dumpster time, and a USB charger come to $95!!! I wasn't sure if I should call 911 for an ambulance for the shock I sustained or for the police for help in what is clearly something they should be investigating. When asking the question about the bill the aging drag queen at check-out made me nervous to the point I just handed over my cash to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. A THIEVES DEN!! Paid $27.29 for 4 bottles of water. 1) There are no price tags on any products. 2)The register has no price display. 3) The patron does not offer receipts. I had to ask for one! 4) They charge a 4% credit charge fee and DONT TELL YOU! 5) When I asked for a receipt and immediately wanted to return for a refund, the owner (a middle aged lady) said no, told us to leave, and when we objected said she would CALL THE POLICE!!! 6) She said the receipt says no refunds are accepted. Decided not to purchase anything because of the sad selection and was almost immediately snippily told we could not use the table outside if we weren't going to buy anything as I was putting my jacket on to leave. ZERO STARS! The most evil person I have interacted with in Park City - all of Utah in fact - maybe ever. Seriously rude! Went in for directions, which she did give. I put my bag in the chair outside the shop while I took an urgent phone call. She came out and told me that I had to move because the seating is for paying customers only. There were literally no people in her shop and no one in the general vicinity at all. She just wanted to sit there. She then told me that she was going to call the police because I was trespassing. Went at 8:30 am when the store was supposed to open. Store locked. Employee got there at 8:50 so we walked over again. Door still locked. Lady inside finally opened the door at 8:55 and started complaining to us about us standing at the door when she was not ready to open. The whole time we were in there, she ranted about us. I asked if she had eggs. She said yes but they were not delivered yet. She said rent a cab and go to the grocery store. Never said a nice word, so we finally left. I have never seen such bad customer service! We will never go there again and tell everyone we meet to not patronize as she is in a service industry. Who ever owns this store should put some effort into it or just sell it to someone who cares. read more

Whatever you do don't make a comment like "wow, that's a lot" when you are paying $6.50 for a 1.5L bottle of water bc the older lady with pink hair will freak out on you and tell you repeatedly if you want "a deal" to go to Salt Lake city. The airport water was even cheaper. read more

We were hesitant to enter the store based on the reviews. Yes, the store is pricey. Yes, there are no price tags on the items in the store. Yes, I think we paid $9 for a frozen pizza and another $9 for a pint of ice cream which was painful BUT I know for a fact that I paid slightly over $7 for a Snickers and a Kit Kat at the Lodge in their cafeteria (Bump and Grind sells candy bars for $1). I also averaged about $85 a day for four people to eat lunch at the Lodge in their cafeteria and another $85 to eat breakfast at the Corner Store. Yes, there is a huge upcharge here BUT I did not have the poor customer service experience mentioned. I felt there was a large variety to choose from- we stocked up on breakfast items and we were able to get cereal, milk, oatmeal, eggs, waffles, etc. but I also saw bread and deli meats. Did I suffer angst over the pricing, yes, but I feel it is all relative to the location. One last thing, this was footsteps away from our studio- very convenient. read more

Took it back to the store and not only did the owner / sales person refuse to give a refund or exchange she was very rude to me.
