The one with shredded beef had very tasty beef, but suffered, as did the house special variety, from a lack of flavor overall. Both dishes were just quite bland in the same way, and lacked any excitement of flavors. We didn't finish them, and opted not to take the leftovers. Beverages: I ordered a mezcalita, having had an excellent one at Telefonico a couple of weeks prior, and hoping to have something similar. Instead of a smaller cocktail with a kick, this was extremely watery and had a commercial taste to it. I didn't finish this either. I only had food from one of the places, so can't judge the rest, but I don't see myself going back. Bland food from one and a miserable drink from another don't suggest good odds.

Note that at this time (August 2019) there seems to be peace here in Tijuana. Manufacturers are coming here from all over the world for various reasons to start up manufacturing operations. With the current China-US trade war, there is a lot interest from companies dealing with China. The area is now growing again and after 911 there was a transition to serve the local community. Now there are fewer curio shops and more restaurants, brew pubs, coffee houses, and International food courts. If you are on the fence about coming here, get off it and come visit. Do some homework on Yelp first and you won't be disappointed.

The different shops and restaurants have a variety of price ranges, so there is something for everyone to choose from. There are also two movie theaters which are quite popular. I come here whenever I want to catch a movie or shop at Sears since they closed down the ones I used to shop at in the U.S. They also have live music playing sometimes or clown shows with gifts for children. I have experienced great customer service across all establishments I've been to in this shopping center. People of all ages can enjoy their time here.
