I used to frequent this store but I can no longer walk the floor to do my necessary browsing to fill my grocery needs and the electric carts are never charged properly or left out in the parking lot also this store is less than 2 miles from my house yet my deliveries must come from Waldorf also store shoppers for delivery don't know how to find requested items in the store boars head hot dogs are not by the bacon and sausages but in the deli dept so consequently they say they are out of stock when they are not if it were not for the traffic going to waldorf I would just shop food Lion there it's time to find a new grocery store read more

I've NEVER been in this store and it's huge!! Colorful, welcoming & Well kept up seemingly, it's very clean a bit organized. The cashiers are just as nice as the management. Someone is always there to help you!!, prepared food is hot hot so when you go home you can eat it right away. The manager found my Gimmie s'mores Ben & Jerry's ice cream so I was happy!!... I visit this store multiple times every week. If it weren't for the staff, I would go out of my way to avoid it. For the disabled and elderly, this place is a Death Trap! So much stocking in the produce section that there is no room for carts or navigation. Every single aisle is jam packed with pallets blocking access to items and evacuation in case of an emergency or fire. No matter what time of day, or where you go, there's a a line waiting to get around something in the middle of the floor. Multiple unattended shopping cards full of empty packaging materials provide another random level of obstacles. You have more people standing around telling you how to use self check out, than you have operating cash registers to expedite the process. On a corporate level, customer safety takes a back back seat profit margin for shareholders, and to keep labor costs on the cheap, Food Lion is just too greedy to pay employees to stock before opening or after closing. This store has some visible supply chain issues. Since the major supply chain shortages during the pandemic this store always seems to be low on stock. It's already a smaller Food Lion store that does not carry as many items as the average size market and the produce, meats and grocery items are typically low here. Also, they do not have self check out at this location which can be a little frustrating when check-out lines get long and they only have 2-3 registers opened. read more

I'm s new food lion shopper and what I experienced today was totally unacceptable. After finding mold bead on the self I didn't make a big deal I took it to the cashier and told him maybe someone should check the shelf for old bread. He continued to ring my items and some buns I was purchasing surely said 2 for 5.00 as you can see in the photo. It was hot dog buns and sub buns. The cashier told me the buns were in the wrong place, but is that my fault someone didn't do the isle properly. Well needless to say he argued the issue and basically said they were in the wrong place and walked back to his register. Did not like the customer service because what he should have done was give me the item at that price and remove the rest and put them in the correct area. So you loose a sale because you want the customer to be wrong. No because you loss business and a customer Safeway, Weis, and Giant down the street. I really could have acted like a nut off the molded bread. read more

I have always come to this food lion. It's clean, organized and the produce and meats are always fresh and in stock. It's not a huge store but has everything you need. I gave 4 stars because sometimes the liquor store crowd and the bar crowd spills over and makes grocery shopping after dark uncomfortable...although they have security. read more

One on every corner in the area, a favorite of the locals as it seems. Food Lion, IDK, the name seems kinda cheesy, old-school & so 1970s to me (not that the 70's were cheesy), but I did find some very nice sales inside. Produce is fresh looking, I didn't taste them so I can't attest. After visiting this particular location several times, I did find them to be stocked with most items, except those Murray Butter Cookies, which must be a favorite of the locals because the 2 rows, where they were placed, were EMPTY. Very friendly & helpful staff. Quick check outs. Clean, non cluttered aisles. Ample parking. Baskets inside, which is a plus, as they aren't subjected to the elements, I dislike rain soaked baskets. I live around the corner from here and of course i come here ALOT and i always have a satisfying experience. Not once have I had a problem with any of the employees. They are all sweet and provide great service. They most prettu quickly through there lines and everytime the line gets bigger they open up 1 or 2 more lines to decrease there customer wait time. Prices are much cheaper than your ordinary grocery stores and they always have great deals if you have a food lion card! read more

This is a nice store. I am always impressed with the produce section. Everything looks fresh and is neatly organized. It has a market feel and a nice selection of fruits and vegetables. This is my favorite part of the store and a major reason why I come to this store. The staff is always pleasant and they go out of their way to greet you. The store is always clean and well-stocked. It's never too crowded so I live being able to get in and get out fast. If you're in the area, take some time to check out this store. read more

It's not a huge store but you can get what you need for the most part, especially if you need to run in and run out. Their customer service is great. I was distracted, left without the chicken I purchased, called back, the associate said she remembered me and tried to get my attention but I was pulling off by the time she ran outside. Anyhow she told me I could come back and get it. I went back and she even walked with me to pick up my item (they put back) and walked with me back to the front so there wouldn't be any issues with me waking out with a chicken in hand. read more

I don't care what anyone says, Food Lion, you are the one!! Every time I'm on a budget, I come here. They have wonderful prices and great selections to choose from. It's also worth getting their reward card because on top of already great prices, they can be significantly lowered once you put your reward/phone number in. They have a wonderful variety of different foods & brands to choose from, the only down fall is that they don't have a fresh seafood/meats counter which drives me nuts. I always have to go to Giant across the street or Safeway if I want fresh steaks or shrimp for dinner. Sucks! The bakery is pretty bare as well. Not much to choose from. The staff are always friendly and aware of when you need help finding something. Even the individuals restocking will stop just to help out. This location is very clean and has a bathroom in the back, past the diary aisle, for customers who just can't hold it. Lol. All in all, I love Food Lion, cause I'm a baller on a budget, and they understand that I rather not pay 4 bucks for milk if I don't want to. Haha. Favs: Great customer service and cleanliness. I went in there for Western Union and the day manager Tanya (spelling) was very short and rude with me. She asked "how may I help you" and I responded with "I would like to send money Western Union". All she said was "Not online". I said what does that mean and she repeated herself by saying "Not online". I said will it be online today and she responded "Not online on the moment". I said oh OK so it may be online later today. She responded by saying "I am not sure". If you are a manager why the Bleep couldn't you have better customer service skills.
