Great store for your kosher needs! It's a small store, but has a great selection. For people who don't keep kosher but are lactose intolerant: you can find many PARVE items (foods that don't contain meat or dairy - but might contain fish or eggs, so not all parve items are vegan). Helpful staff for any questions about any item in the store. When you spend at least $100 in one shopping trip, you get an extra copy of your receipt to participate in a drawing for free groceries. Food Showcase has recently been renovated and looks amazing! Organized well. It is a fully stocked small community Kosher grocery store. Many handmade hot pitas every morning. Also Kosher flat breads and other baked items from bakeries in Brooklyn delivered daily. Lots of different vegan and vegetarian "meats" and items in frozen area. On location freshly made various flavors of hummus, egg salad, tuna salad. Fresh vegetables and fruits. Complete line of Kosher candies and chocolate mostly imported from Israel. This store has completely changed inside, clean and easier to navigate than before. It's a wonderful find. read more

I am happy to live within walking distance to the Food Showcase! I stop there many times a week to pick up something I need for a meal. As a vegan, I feel lucky to have SO many options here. I have bought everything from produce, fresh herbs, tofu, hummus, rice & other grains, breadcrumbs, crackers, plant milks, taco sauce, nuts, seeds, condiments, dressings, soup, and more. They even carry a tomato sauce with Beyond Meat in it! They really have a good selection. Highly suggested grocery store for both vegan and kosher needs alike! read more

A not disappointed that all bold cuts were pre-sliced, prepackaged. With vey little competition in the are of kosher food in the area, they are a pretty good basic grocery store. It is rather small and kosher good is always more expensive then non-kosher, but they haven't daises their prices nearly as fast as the Kosher Mosh. Very clean and courteous staff. read more

Green Fusion display of unsanitary practice. What I witnessed at Green Fusion is appalling. I realize everyone is short on staff, however with covid and germs in general, staying safe requires good sanitary practice . On Thursday evening I watched and saw a waitress take french fries and eat them from the plate of a guests she was serving that plate to. A male worker was holding the plates in front of her, to take to the guest. She served the meal to the table and left. This particular guest was obviously conscience of germs and or covid and made a point of coming into the restaurant wearing a mask. She asked if she could sit out side with one other guest. I don't think she would be happy to know the waitress ate from her plate before serving it to her. I later called back the restaurant spoke with the manager and informed him of what I had witnessed. I was so discussed that I told him I would be sharing this information on the internet. For reasons of health concern for both myself and that of my neighbors. He simply said he's sorry. He's sorry not that he was going to speak to the waitress and at least inform her not to do this again. Perhaps he was the gentleman holding the plates as she ate from it! Maybe this is their normal practice. This may also possibly be thief she actually remived food from the customer who I'm sure was charged for all that was originally placed on her plate. Appoximately five minutes later another waitress called me back and stated that customer was her sister, otherwise she would never have done that. Of course that's not to be believed, she never spoke or indicated in anyway that she knew the woman nor did the woman indicate in any way that she knew the waitress. I find this all disturbing and felt I should share it. Needless to say, I would never go back. I had fries with my order, it makes me sick to think about what I may not have seen. read more

Shopped there for first time and discovered staffers without masks on. One sneezed and then wanted to touch our food as he checked us out. What's wrong with them? Don't they know there's a pandemic going on? Kosher butcher near us just closed and we traveled a good distance to get to Fair Lawn. We were very disappointed and won't return. read more

This place came through for me in the nick of time! I was home sick with a cold and one of the managers made sure to stay on the phone with me and walk around the entire store making sure I had all of the items I needed and then someone dropped it off to my door. When I went to the Food Showcase last Sunday 1/3/2016, there was a blue sign on the door that stated that you get a free bag of pita bread if you spend at least twenty dollars ($20.00) at the store. This has been the case at the store in the past, and I have had no problems getting the pita bread. I spent over $20 at the store and I asked the cashier for the pita bread. The cashier stated that there was no pita bread. I then asked the cashier for a raincheck. The cashier said no, and then he summoned the manager. I then stated the same thing to the manager, and then he said, in a firm monotone "If we have it," meaning that the offer was no good unless they had the pita bread in the store. I then pointed out to him that the blue sign does not have this limitation, and then he stated that "Common sense says..." that the store does not have to comply with the terms of the offer unless it has the pita bread. At this point, common sense says that I ask for, and receive, a refund for my purchase. While the cashier was processing the refund, the manager was there and was chastising me for my 'lack of professionalism' when I asked for the pita bread. After the refund was processed, the manager followed me out of the store and as I was in the parking lot he said sarcastically in a loud and mocking voice "I hope you feel better." To answer his question, I do feel better. My feelings have improved even more by writing this post. read more

Just went in and they had some fresh baked goodies. Who would have thought fresh cheese danishes the week before passover. The rest of the store had clearly separated passover section with great selection of products. They were calm and friendly even though it is a holiday week and a really busy season. Great work from the chassidishe guy at the cash register with a friendly greeting for everybody! read more

Absolutely love this grocery store, only place I can come to that sells my Isreali shampoo and conditioner and buy my favorite candy!!!

Food Showcase is a small kosher grocery in beautiful Fair Lawn NJ. The current owners are completely service oriented and run a very clean and well stocked store. Their meats and produce are excellent with competitive prices. They also have an excellent smoked fish selection. The store is under RCBC supervision. I strongly recommend the store for all of your grocery needs. read more
