To start, I could eat middle eastern and/or Indian (specifically Southern) food every day, for every meal, and be happy as anything. So it only seemed natural that I'd fall in love with Food Street, but I was worried that my expectations would exceed the reality. So instead of going in... I decided to order delivery through good ole Door Dash - expecting a sad, slightly cold, non crispy shadow what you'd get in person but let me tell yas.... this was not the case at all! Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal! It was wicked crispy, the size of my head (quick makes this a HUGE value... not that my head is that big, but order it to get an idea), bun was not soggy at all, and it did not disappoint. Chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, not chewy at all, and seasoned well. Coleslaw added a nice vinegar contrast (I wish there was much more coleslaw but it didn't stop me!), sauce was smokey and slightly spicy, and the bun was soft. Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll was also a hit! Great seasoning, chicken was incredibly well cooked - melt in your mouth style - with small bits of char - vegetables were fresh, and the roll itself had great chew and flavor w/out being greasy (at all) or saturated. Fries were bangers too. Ready to eat my way through the menu. If it's this good when ordered, can't image what'd it be in house. read more

We heard so much about this place we went with a group of people to try it out. The place inside was nice and clean with nice decor. The service however, lacked. We went to the counter to place or order, we ordered, faluda, garlic chicken wrap, Malia boti wrap gappa chaat and mango lassi. Everything except for the faluda tasted just ok. Nothing for me to go back and try it again. Now let's go back to the faluda. They forgot to give us the faluda. We had to ask 3 times and almost 2 hours later, they finally brought it out. And it tasted nothing like any form of faluda. It was vanilla ice cream with crushed pistachio. No apologies or explanation for the wait. This is Pakistani with blends of spices, textures, and tastes very different from most Americanized fares. If you don't like Indian cuisine ( the nearest similar styles that are around central Ohio) or aren't adventurous you probably won't enjoy this experience. You order at the counter and they bring your food and drink to your table as it's ready. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. However, English is a second language and even the music will remind you you're experiencing a different culture. Many diners had children with them. However, if your children aren't culturally adjusted, or politely adventurous this probably isn't the place for them. We enjoyed the food and experience and both agreed we could return. read more

I came for a bite last night and was very happy with the food. The service was okay but not at all friendly. They have a very cute dining area, and I believe you don't buss your own table because I didn't see a trash area. Apparently there is a parking lot behind the building, but I came from N High so I parked on the street a few blocks down. I needed the exercise. Jennifer R and I shared the Gappa Chaat; it is very large and enough for 2 or 3 people. Quite delicious. Love love love Food Street! Always have ordered online/delivery, but we finally made into the brick and mortar. We went on a Monday evening, so the wait was short and there was plenty of seating available to us. The ambiance was great for a group of 4. We ordered several items, but the ones I had this time were the Malai chicken paratha, beef chapli paratha, and the mushroom Swiss burger, and of course the gappa chaat as an appetizer. I also got the mango lassi which isn't pictured. The gappa chaat was fantastic- I would have eaten the whole thing without hesitation if we weren't intending to share it! The flavors of the sauces blend beautifully with the mixture. The mushrooms burgers was also wonderful, no notes on making it a better burger!!! For the parathas, I prefer the malai chicken to the beef chapli, but they're both so flavorful and high quality. The only thing that could be improved (on a VERY personal level) is the spice/heat level - they are a touch spicier than I prefer, but they flavors are so delicious that I can overcome. For people who love spice though, it's probably perfect! Overall, food street is definitely a place we will keep going and ordering from! read more

A great restaurant in Clintonville featuring delicious food and neat decor! We ordered online in advance for takeout, and everything came out hot and fresh, well packaged for travel. We tried the Jalapeno Beef Burger (also came with cheese and grilled onions), french fries, the Gol Gappay, and paratha. Everything was really delicious and flavorful. I came here specifically for the spicy chicken sandwich. I just had a craving since my old favorite spot closed down. The sandwich here did not disappoint. It was a good sized portion and the heat was on point. The sauce was a little sweet and it was a great compliment to the spice. Service is a little slow here, so don't come if you're in a hurry. Apparently, they charge this for any group of 4 or more. I had a group of 5 (4 adults and 1 child). How is a fast food joint charging this and getting away with it? I will never come here as a group again. Their menu items are already pricey, so to upcharge on top of tip and taxes is crazy to me. Sit down fine dining places don't even have a service charge unless they sit a group of 6 or more at a table, which is just because they actually provide service throughout the entire meal. What a cool restaurant and place! There's street parking and some parking available in their back lot. This location gets a lot of traffic, especially with other businesses and stores. The restaurant is a bit small and on their busy nights, it's full and packed. The room can get loud with the amount of people and their open kitchen. It's lively, colorful, and decorated so cozy. We tried a couple rolls, their Gol Gappy, Gappa Chaat, Mango Lassi, and a couple of their mojitos. Everything we ate was made well, flavored and seasoned well, and was delicious! My favorite was their Beef Chapli and Chicken Tikka Paratha rolls. The meat was flavorful, the sauces were great, and overall incredible. I will say everything is slightly more expensive than I expected but I think each item was made very well for the price. Staff was very nice, very accommodating, and service was great. Your seat will basically touch the back of someone else's. It's hard to get in and out of your chair without disturbing people sitting behind you. I did like the vibe in here. Great decor. And friendly service. The guy at the counter recommended the beef chapli since it was spicy. We also shared gol gappay. And I ordered the mango mojito to balance the saltiness. My friend got a couple things for us from the dessert section: falooda and kulfi. The food was filling! The beef chapli paratha roll looked small but it was packed with beef. I was getting stuffed after eating it with the gol gappay. The desserts were good. I know they're Pakistani but I thought the falooda at Cha Sha had better presentation. Not a bad thing. They both still tasted good. But one definitely had the more visually pleasing edge. Overall, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Staff were really nice. Helpful with the menu and cleaning tables quickly. I would come back to try other things on the menu. Parking is parallel around here. Great food and nice atmosphere! My wife and I got the crispy chicken sandwich, classic burger and fries. We split everything and we were so glad we did. The sandwiches had a really tasty sauce and the fried were cooked to perfection! Food Street opened its new location on High Street. It's Pakistani street food with focus on quick bites. They have different varieties of Rolls similar to Shawarma's and Kati Rolls. We tried the Malai Kebab and Chicken Tikka roll. I liked the Tikka roll much better as it has more flavor. The Aloo burger was disappointing so was the Chaat and the stuffing seemed stale. There are several better Chaat places around Columbus so I would skip that and stick to the rolls. Prices are decent ($12/roll) They do have few dairy desserts as well to try. The service was chaotic, they are in soft opening so they were messing up orders. They initially gave me paneer rolls instead of Tikka which they replaced immediately when I brought it to their attention. Ambiance is casual and simple, you can order take out or sit in for a quick bite. This was would be a great lunch place for those living close by. The chicken in the wrap was literally still crunchy from the char put on it even after it was in a wrap with a generous amount of garlic mayo. I placed a delivery order through the Food Street website which uses their own platform but contracts Uber drivers for fulfillment. Three minutes before the order was supposed to arrive it was canceled (probably by the driver). I waited 15 to 20 minutes for a replacement driver who never arrived. Things happen, no big deal. I called the restaurant because that is what Uber (and the receipt) told me to do since I ordered through the stores direct website. I was hoping for a simple fix, for them to dispatch another driver to deliver the food but when I called the staff told me repeatedly to pick it up myself and then immediately hung up. I called back again and let them know that I could not pick it up because I was at work therefore this was not possible which is why I ordered delivery and paid the additional cost in the first place. When I asked for a new driver they refused and pressured me again to pick it up because the food was "already made". Ultimately, after a lot of back and forth I thought it would just be easier to get a refund and place a seperate order but she treated as a major inconvenience before hanging up again. Ultimately it appears they did not provide me the refund and it required me to do a charge back with my Credit Card. I'm not sure why there was a break down in communication and I'm pretty upset having to write this because I have enjoyed their food in the past. However because of the way I was treated and spoken to I won't be eating here again. read more

I went within the first two weeks of opening so service was as expected with as busy as it has been. That being said, everyone was very friendly & we didn't have to wait too long. They sold out of the kulfi so I plan on trying that next time. I have Pakistani roots and this place is definitely representing Pakistani street food - the food is so flavorful and unique. I tried the malai boti (chicken paratha roll) and the chicken was moist & so delish. It's my favorite so far. I also sampled the beef chapali paratha roll and it has the right amount of heat & the sauces pair perfectly with it. If you can't tolerate spice though, it's better to go with the malai boti. I'm looking forward to trying the burgers, chicken sandwiches, and more of the street food. We did sample the Faloodah and Rabri Doodh. Both were good but I preferred the rabri doodh and hubby preferred the faloodah. The art on the wall is so colorful and modern. I'm excited to go back again when it's hopefully less busy so I can sit on the swinging chairs they have. The prices are good based off the freshness and quality. My least favorite are the fries but that's because I was expecting chaat masala or some spice, they are still crispy and hot.
