The food is some of the best Indian cuisine I've tried recently in Columbus. The servers are excellent--very polite and attentive, always checking in to make sure we're having a good time. They also do a great job keeping water glasses filled and making sure the drinks and food taste great. The only downside is the restaurant layout. A small change could really improve the flow and make it feel cozier, especially since guests with reservations sometimes end up waiting near the entrance and blocking the way for customers who are leaving. Aside from that, the experience was excellent overall.

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus for Indian food :) The service staff are always a delight, the Lamb Saag is to die for, the Onion naan is so moist and delicious, and the vibe and ambiance inside is super chill. Parking close can sometimes be tough and when it is packed it can be a bit loud in there, but I find every opportunity I can to visit and enjoy this little gem! Highly recommend

A friend and I visited on a Friday night. The restaurant was crowded but we didn't have to wait. The service was inconsistent, but okay. They have such a variety of cocktails so I would love to come back for happy hour. I enjoyed my Indian Summer cocktail as it was refreshing. The bread/naan was a $2 charge but worth it as you can't go wrong with naan. I ordered the Dinner Special which was a generous amount of food for $22. It was a little taste of everything and included an appetizer and dessert. I got spice level 4 out of 5 but probably could've gone 5 as I like to sniffle a little bit when I eat my Indian food. Overall, the meal was good and I would definitely return to this spot for Indian in the future.

Date night! Post-movie dinner at Khaab Indian Kitchen & Bar in Bexley. It was our first time here and we found the restaurant quite bustling and the decor modern, but comfortable. My only complaint is that lighting was really dim,, particularly in the corner, where we sat. The service was very attentive despite how busy they were. We ordered more food than we knew we could eat, but decided to try a couple of different entrees, which looked similar but tasted very different. I ordered the Punjabi lamb and Dan got the chicken Rogan Josh. Both were very good- saucy and the regular heat level was fine for our palates, however there is milder and hotter. We shared the chef's special stuffed naan (which was our favorite) and paneer pakora with dipping sauces. It was a very filling dinner but hit the spot on a cold, dreary night. I'll be back for the happy hour specials.

Amazing Indian lunch buffet! Took my dad on his birthday for lunch and it was fast and had good selection. They have a good selection of seating and a sizeable bar but we didn't drink due to work. The service was friendly too.

I tried their lunch buffet and it turnd out great. The food was fresh and delicious. I like their lamb curry and garlic naan the most, they were well cooked. The gulab jamun were cold and they should be served hot. The service and ambiance were great. The only thing was the place is very popular so if you are planning to go on a weekend try to go early when their buffet starts.

Loved all the food I've tried in the buffet and I tried everything! The ambiance is great, chill, relaxed, and friendly. The place is a bit smaller compared to other Indian buffets, which can be a good thing.

Khaab is a a small, modernized Indian cuisine restaurant. On a Friday night for dinner it was pretty packed. Luckily with a couple empty tables. We ordered the Lamb Jalfrezi & Lamb Curry. The stew like dishes & fluffy rice was delish. The Naan is a heavenly pair to the entrees. This is a great place to try quality Indian cuisine. The high-quality food and ample servings make the price well worth it. Even my 4 year old approved on everything.

Well, coffee bar closes around 1PM, and they flip it to bar time until closing. We were warmly greeted by the bartender (not sure if part owner since there may be a few according to the menu's gratitudes). This bar is chic with a dark academia presence. I didn't take a lot of pics, since I was one of a few ppl there. However, they lean into the Lion theme beautifully. This place is manly, while have a soft essence... who doesn't love chandeliers. On to the offerings, it's a small menu, that appears to be seasonal... small menus means you're able to perfect things ;) My husband and I ordered a snack plate, with 'Spressy and Double Entendre on the side. Snack plate was served in gold dish: roasted salted cashews, toasted buffalo ranch corn, salted caramel chocolate covered popcorn. An elegant nod to beer nuts. I was a stereotypical millennial and ordered a 'Spressy: vanilla vodka, coffee, cacao, tonka; a little morning pick me up, but at night. Fantastic pull, smooth. My husband ordered Double Entendre: bourbon, pistachio, cacao; pistachio-y old fashioned. Bourbon is NOT my drink of choice, but I can tell you the prep showed great attention to detail; beautifully crafted clean, square shaved side, ice cube to perfectly chill the drink. As stated, this place is beautifully chic, with elevated drinks. The demasque wallpaper and gold accents are definitely my vibe. I look forward to returning and trying their coffee offerings.

That being said, upon opening the door we were told we couldn't come in without masks. Mine was in my pocket, no problem. I haven't left my home (in Tennessee) often enough since the beginning of the virus for it to become habit to automatically put on a mask when I get out of my vehicle. But 9/10 times I remember before entering a public place. The male bartender just seemed rude in the way he told us to put one one. I had read the raving reviews, and being a Yelp Elite myself I know I can and do trust their reviews above others. So....I was really looking forward to trying something new and enjoy watching a bartender do their thing. The bartender pointed to two framed menus on top of a cooler containing seltzer's and canned drinks, and some glass bottles of pre-made cocktails, I think. I would've appreciated the bartender ask me what I liked, and help me decide, but it was easier for him to point to the sign. Customer service absolutely sucked hippo balls. I asked if I could just order a Knob Creek and Coke in a short glass, and a Blanton's for my hubs. Sure!! What I got was a shot of each in a to-go plastic condiment container with a lid, and two big paper go cups (like Burger King) of ice, and a can of Coke, which I told him never mind I had a soda in the truck. We also got two bags of Cheeto's, to make the sale legal. So....we poured our bourbons over the ice in the paper cups. I drank a few sips of mine, yum, even in paper. My husband was just about to take a sip and noticed something stuck in his ice that looked just like a maggot. He walked back across the street and told/showed the bartender, who vehemently denied it came from the ice because it was a brand new bag. Then I noticed 3 of the maggot looking things in my ice, so I went back in and showed my husband and then the bartender. He told my husband it was probably from the citrus he was cutting on a board near the ice bin. They were frozen INSIDE the ice cubes. I'm upset with myself that I didn't take a picture of it, it was gross. I'm upset that a bartender would try to make it seem like it was nothing. After seeing it all in my ice my husband just asked for our money back, and the bartender said, "But I've already poured another." Ummm, sorry, but no thank you. He did give the refund, but I most assuredly won't give them a second chance when I visit Columbus.
