Prices are reasonable and the Tripa (request extra crispy) is delicious and is our favorite. Carne Asada is our second favorite along with Carnitas. When you ask for everything it may or may not come with these yumm grilled onions if they have it available. More likely they'll have it about an hour into their opening as we've gone super late at night as well as right when they opened. The Red sauce is no joke and we've learned to avoid it and use the green sauces to save our tongues. This is just one of those places that we could eat weekly for sure. Yum!

I arrived at Tasty Donuts (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 6:53AM). Parking is available, but it's awkward since the lot is slanted and hilly. There's also faded parking lines, so parking can become confusing. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Staff immediately greeted me, and Staff politely answered all my questions. Staff works hard. As mentioned, I ordered the Ube Donut ($1.95). WOW!! It's so fresh and springy. The texture is addictive. The flavor is clean, lightly sugared while also presenting that fresh, familiar ube flavor. It's one of the best donuts that I've ever tasted. And it's VERY affordable too! Regarding ambiance, Tasty Donuts (Rowland Heights) is minimalistic. There are zero tables or chairs. The Al Pastor burrito is one of the best (or really THE BEST) I've tried, out of all the places I've been to, ranging from King Taco to street tacos in the SFV. The meat is very flavorful and moist, which hasn't been my experience so far. My parents had the carnitas puro burrito the following day, and they said the meat retained its flavor. They liked it so much to the point that I came back the next day to get ANOTHER al pastor burrito, carnitas burrito and carne asada burrito. My mom said that the carne asada is much better than Albertos, and my dad said that the al pastor is very flavorful. Random fact: It's very rare for me to finish a burrito in one sitting, and this spot had me finish my entire burrito AND down my entire horchata within 20 minutes! tldr; 5/5 stars all around, and definitely planning to keep cash on me for emergency cases -- that is whenever my family & I crave solid, authentic Mexican food!

Lots of different cuts of meat from lengua, cabeza, and of course the classics like al pastor and asada. We got around 5 tacos and this was around $13, which is pretty fair since they STACK the protein on top. You couldn't even see the tortillas, they were that generous. Everything is hot and sizzling and super juicy. The giant al pastor that was roasting was a delicious sight to see. Fresh toppings for the cilantro, diced onions, limes, radishes, etc. Delicious salsa of all heat levels that you see at every taco stand. Delicious and perfect for late night eats.
