I've been here many times and never reviewed it. Best Foodland location I've been to. It's clean, staff is nice, and is a one stop for hot food, poke and regular groceries.

Maybe because I'm not from Hawaii, but this Foodland was amazing. Loved everything there. Butter mochi, spam musubi, hawaiian snacks!! Nothing beats the great selection of poke in the back. We got 8 different kinds, and the guy behind the counter was right, all of the spicy ones were the best. They had a huge selection of hawaiian drinks and super fun recycle bags to take home. Perfect short trip when staying at the Disney Aulani hotel.

Always my first stop in hawaii for the hot food and poke bar. It has everything you need from a regular grocery store plus all the hawaiian goodies.

I usually have a good experience at Foodland, but I was pretty disappointed with these short ribs. The meat on top looked really good with a normal amount of fat, but once I opened the package, I was surprised to see that a majority of what was HIDDEN underneath was THICK FAT. I understand short ribs are supposed to have fat, but this was a lot more than I expected based on what I could see when I bought it. Just think it was "strategically packaged". At $6/lb, I just wish the packaging showed more of what I was actually paying for. More than 50% of the ribs was fat but I couldn't tell until I opened it.

Foodland Kapolei branch located on Kapolei Pkwy. Long time anchor tenant servicing the Kapolei and Makakilo communities. They have a Bakery and Deli area that has some great local food, pastries, breads, and Bento's. Next to them is the gourmet deli department. Specializing in gourmet meats, cheeses, and more. Their produce department is one of the better ones. Always stocked with fresh and vibrant fruits and veggies. Their Poke department is well known and is an island favorite. Definitely recommended.

Foodland is a great place to buy things for potluck, so fast and easy to grab and go. Decided to buy donuts and was so disappointed and not to mention embarrassing when it was time to eat. The donuts were so hard and tough as if it was sitting overnight. Bought a 12 pack that's was already on display thinking it was gonna be fresh (bought it at 7am) but to my surprise they were dry and tough! They are usually great with quality but this time around it was disappointing!

I come here just for the Poke and mochi! I don't eat raw fish but I do in Hawaii and only the poke at Foodland! It's just fresh and I like the texture. Oh and the mochi super soft and not so sweet. It just all so good.

Shopping in Kapolei, O'ahu, Hawai'i... I actually went to this Foodland because there's a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inside! I also had to use the restroom... At Customer Service, the pleasant clerk called a worker to escorted me to the back... It was an employees only area. It was almost like a maze, but it was a necessity! Thank you! Since I was there, I looked at the new promotional bags... mango, guava, and lychee paintings... hmmm... I also looked at the famous poke, cute plushies, fresh produce, greeting cards, SPAM merchandise, etc. Thanks for a clean, spacious, organized environment!

Foodland is the place to go for fresh poke of all flavors!! They also have local eats that can't be missed! - highly recommend the shoyu salmon or ahi tuna (your preference for fish) and the ube mochi!! - can't miss getting a bunch of spam musubi to enjoy right away on the go

These grocery stores are all over the island and not only have some of the best poke on the island. It also is one of the best priced all around for their poke and all their other food options. Cheap bentos and in a great plaza can't really go wrong if you are looking for good food here

Went to Foodland Kapolei this morning for a "few" items. As always, the store is pristine, clean and orderly. Without hesitation, we made a beeline straight to the Poke Department. Loaded up on our favorites including: California Roll Poke, Fresh Spicy Ahi, Salmon Poke, etc. The Staff was very friendly and helpful with us. They also have a huge Wine and Spirits section that fit anyone's tastes and needs. Fresh grub, great location check out Foodland Kapolei and load up on the stuff you need. Aloha Foodland!

"Sometimes good enough is a better option than wasting resources trying to find an optimal…read moresolution". - Herbert Simon Walmart has pros and cons like most places that we all choose to shop at. I like the convenience of knowing that they open at 6am-ish... Most times it opens up around 6:04 to 6:05 depending upon who's in charge of that area. The store is typical of Wal Mart's layout. Rows and aisles of clothing, food, household goods, etc. Most employees are nice and some you can tell are just trying to make it until break time, which is okay because we all have "days". My biggest issue is having to navigate through aisles that are riddled with pallets and merch needing to be shelved. Sometimes they'll be multiple employees in one aisle with their merch carts crammed against each other try to stock shelves. They're focused and most often won't move for you to get your shopping cart through, let alone get what you need off of the shelf. There are (2) restrooms, one is located in the back near the fabric area and one across the cash registers next to the eyeglass shop. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. Again, it's a toss up between speaking with a nice, cordial employee and an employee who's just going through it. My recommendation is to have a plan if you're short on time. Especially for people who start work at 6:30am and the store is slow to open at 6am. Have a plan and be ready to do an audible in the event that the area you need items from are congested with merch carts and pallets.

All kinds of fruit and vegetables were available for sale along with fresh poi, filipino pastries, and a variety of fresh herbs. Half of the large parking lot at Kapolei Community Park is closed to allow the vendors to set up. They are all on the basketball court side of the park. Prices were really cheap and the vendors were really friendly. I definitely would go again. I am super happy with a bag of five tomatoes that I picked up for only $2! If you want Thai basil, it is only 50 cents a bunch, and pastries start at only 50 cents among lots of other items. Parking is street parking. There were lots of parking available. One thing though is that this farmer's market is a really early one ending at around 730 or 8 am. Cash only and open only on Sundays.
