The Hawaii 7elevens are so not the same as those on the mainland!!! We've now gotten dinner here twice this trip. A fresh salad and dim sum. The dim sum I think is better than that from Jade Palace at less than half the price! Not fancy but there are tables across the Street to eat at. Try the pork and shrimp hash pockets along with a variety of Manapua.

    Cashier being rude

My friends and I were tourists we've been to the island a few times so we know our way around. We stopped here for some snacks and have been too many 7 elevens on the island before where the workers are always so helpful and kind ,but in this particular one this lady was so disrespectful .It started with me forgetting my card and mentioning it ,she already looked frustrated my sister offered to pay she then got closer and asked for some buns and placed down her things she scanned them and the lady was rudely saying they didn't have those buns so my sister was like okay I'm sorry then nvm. She then tried paying but my sister was not tapping on the correct device which made the lady really upset and she started raising her voice saying "not there it's right here pay attention." Which made me confused and I said excuse me there's no reason for you to be rude and this comment made her super mad and she started yelling at this point saying "IM NOT YELLING " she then took our stuff and didn't let us finish paying. I asked to speak to a manger and she didn't let me finish once more before saying she's right there still yelling .I then told the assistant manager the situation she kindly explained she's allowed to refuse service and I agreed that's okay .I then asked if I could pay with her and she agreed but told me I had to make line again which I understood so I went to make line again .Then the lady from before starts calling the police and embarrasses us in front of the long line we had to make. We then simply agreed to leave but before leaving my sister told her we would be next door if the police actually came and needed to talk to us my sister called her weird which we aren't proud of but then the lady stuck her middle finger out at us which made my sister upset they then had a conversation back and fourth involving inappropriate language which the lady started .My sister was just defending me because I was so shocked I simply stayed quiet. 0/5 experience I have all this on video. I would hope this isn't a normal occurrence.

Great 7-11 and the location is in the coolest location I've ever seen...right across from the bluest water in Hawaii. The service was great and even the cashier had a great sense of humor and cracked a joke. We picked up some yummy ice cream treats on our way to the beach. Perfect spot to grab your snacks, hydrate, etc.

I thought I would never be writing a review for 7-Eleven, but this 7-Eleven hits the spot! Great pit stop shop filled with a bunch of snacks, meals, and drinks that you need on the way to North Shore, all the goods you wouldn't expect to find in mainland 7-Eleven's. They had this noodle salad that was to die for, I wish I knew what it was called, but it was so good. Grabbing other snacks like sour lychee or li-Hing coated gummies was a delight too. However, the service could be a bit better with more customer service points like greetings and stuff like that.

Most 7-11's are pretty much the same and offer the same things like candy, snacks, beverages, slurpees, gas, etc. What makes this 7-11 and others on the islands of Hawaii special is the unique local offerings. This 7-11 in particular has some of the best items I've had on island. So while this location does not have gas, the Grindz make up for it. Musubi- If your not from Hawaii then let me tell what these are. Rice with spam, chicken Katsu, egg, or both wrapped with nori (seaweed). It's like a giant piece of nigiri sushi. They have lots of different flavors and they are all tasty. For only $1.55-$2 you get a filling warm treat. They are even good cold. In my opinion the Musubi from 7-11 are the best anywhere. Pork Hash- delicious bite sized Dim Sum sold in a pack of individually. Get them spicy or regular. You gotta try these! Manapua- steamed buns with delicious filling. Sometimes you can even get the bun in taro. Try the curry chicken. There are also hotdogs, donuts, and the regular fair you might find on the mainland. As is the territory with almost any convenient store, you find all kinds of people at these places depending on the time of the day. That's part of the fun. There is plenty of parking and it's easily accessible.

I have to assume it is based on the CVS website. This is the one and only Longs Drugs Store in Hau'ula. We were here for some drinks after driving from Kahuku Food Truck area. Eating those salty food made us really thirsty. We could stop at the food stands on Kamahameha. Good thing we got to park safely at the parking lot. Everything in the store is CVS branded. It doesn't bother me. Because I know exactly why. And, I don't talk about politics on my Yelp reviews. So there. We were there in the afternoon around the time the school kids were going home. There was only one cashier and dozen of customers waiting to check out. We were on vacation. So, we didn't mind waiting. I found the usual Longs Drugs items at certain aisles by the grocery section. Got some lihing cherries, arare, coconut water and crack seeds. Then, we were on our way back to town. Overall, I thought it was pretty nice place to stop for some quick grabs. I wish we had time to explore the shopping center for some kaukau. Maybe next time. Aloha!

I would've immediately noticed that the fish is NOT worth eating. I'm starving. We are in a flash flood watch. I forced myself to give it a shot, & immediately was filled with regret as I spit it back out. It was disgusting & my "limu poke," wasn't even POKE. It was straight up mush. I'm even second-guessing if it was even ahi. I've never seen poke like that before, how it immediately disintegrated while using my chopsticks to pick it up. Not even the kine that is made to be patty style. I know it's previously frozen, but I have no idea what that was. On top of all of that there was a black hair in my poke. ** As seen in the photo ** My mouth dropped open when I saw the reviews of people raving about how good it is.... then I clicked on their profiles & saw they're all tourist, so of course they like it. As a local, do NOT waste your money. My food went straight in the trash. There's actually no good poke places on this side...even the Tamura's Hau'ula is the worst one on the island. I need to drive all the way to Kaneohe to Kbay Bros to get decent poke smh.
