Love shopping here, a local family owned treasure. A huge and eclectic assortment of goodies, some of which are impossible to find in "regular" groceries in the area. For example a nice selection of sprouts (sunflower sprouts being my favorite). And nice local fruits, including apple bananas, mangos, papayas, and occasionally even soursop. Also a great selection of greens, such as butter lettuce and fresh basil (both thai and italian) and fresh mint. Lots of dried pastas (wheat and non-wheat), and an insanely huge selection of canned as well as local/fresh condiments, and some very interesting local meats. Even big old cans of Cafe Du Monde ground chicory coffee. read more

Moi, the owner, was delightful to converse with and the selection of food items is absolutely amazing! She packs a lot into that store and I found it be nirvana for all my food needs while staying in Waialua. Great natural food brands, excellent selection of fresh produce including locally grown greens & sprouts. Even local coffee! I am a forever customer as I believe strongly in supporting local businesses! read more

Aloha we were filming in the area went an checked this place , known for having Uncle's ice cream sandwich's .. Low an behold a vast assortment of just about everything you would need up country, Noi the owner (Family run) , Lisa who runs the the register was as sweet an helpful, talked me in to some amazing Thai Green Curry made across the parking lot at Noi's Pho Shop .. Had Yelp not told me to, I would never ever have visited this place. Or even found it. Or if I found it, I probably would not have gone in because it looked a little Chinatown-esque. Not that I don't go to Chinatown, but I don't go to the North Shore to go to Chinatown. BUT, I am glad I went in because it was a fascinating place. All sorts of random asian ingredients, plus fresh local fruits and veggies. I bought a soursop and tomatillos and some green beans and limes and other assorted items. I was going to buy here because we wanted to start supporting local businesses more. Called to ask a few questions for our first experience and the attitude from the moment she answered the phone was just a huge turn off. What an unpleasant experience just from calling the place. I don't think I want to support this company when the first person I have an experience from can't even be pleasant on the phone. I still intend to support local just not here. Please train your people better, a new customer could do without all that unnecessary attitude towards another local. read more

Awesome store that supports local farmers! Galen C. Made a great point when she said to me you could find anything there, from dragon fruit to pop rocks! I recently went to Waialua Fresh before I went to a BBQ down north shore. I got some veggies, stopped at a friends and cut them up for a fresh veggie tray... Easy, local and fresh! They had an awesome selection of fresh fruits and veggies- avocado, mangoes, lilikoi, rambutan- you name it they had it! They have a small white board outside with their selection for the day- convenient when you are looking for something specific! I also had a mainland friend with a birthday coming up so I got her some treats! Lilikoi salad dressing, some chicken herb rub for them to BBQ with and the ever amazing North Shore Goodies coconut peanut butter! The women who work there are really sweet and always helpful. Whenever I am on the north shore, I try to stop here for some great local finds! read more

I can't believe it has taken me this long to find such an awesome store! I randomly walked into this store with a friend to get some vegetables. When I walked in....I WAS IN AWE! If you're looking to cook any Southeast asian dishes, this is your go to specialty store! They have everything! Most importantly, they have all of the asian vegetables that you really cannot find anywhere else! Including thai eggplant, galangal, lemongrass, etc etc etc! They even have mortar and pestles, bamboo steamers, papaya shredders, and much more! The owner is wonderful! I asked if she had sticky rice, she opened her multiple gallon bag and allowed me to buy just a five pound bag. She has advice on how to cook/store foods! Did I mention I live in Honolulu and drive up to Waialua JUST FOR THIS STORE! That's how amazing it is. Finding this gem has motivated me to cook the dishes my mother cooked when I was a kid.... nostalgia! read more

Why did I wait so long to start shopping here?! Well now that I am here, I love it! I have gone in and said, I don't know what I want for dinner. next thing I know I have a basket full of fresh and yummy items and a recipe courtesy of the owner. She makes you feel like family. I love the smell when you walk in of the fresh vegetables and fruit, so Ono! She has a Thai white fish in her freezer that is superb, mild and you can do all sorts of recipes with that won't over power a plate, plus my friends who aren't fish eaters have even liked it! I like that the items are marked which farms they came from. As for pricing I would place it between inexpensive and moderate but it doesn't dive me that option. Just depends on what you purchase. Went here months ago...small shop but with lots of interesting goodies to choose from, from produce, to regular goods to gourmet or locally made items. Fish Jerky $9.95 Ginger Beer! Restroom in the back. Super slow service :( The cashier was taking forever to ring the woman ahead of me up. Every time she would talk she would stop. The lady's bill was over $80. Even after ringing her up, she was still talking to this other elderly lady on the side, further taking a while to get back to what she was doing. Although the slow service, I would probably return because of all the cool stuff they have. With that said there's a convenience store closeby closer to the Aloha gas station. They have beer, fruit (apples, pear, bananas) and even tamarind candy, 2 for 24cents. I made sure to grab a few. read more

Waialua Fresh is the best produce mart ever. Moi, owner, has so much variety of fresh fruits and vegetables among other health goods, such as noni juice. She is super friendly and the store is a wonderful, small town, country produce mart. I highly recommend it! read more

So glad I walked in here. A neighbor mentioned ice cream sandwiches being sold next to the post office, so I did a little bit of exploring. Walked out with $70 worth of ice cream. Yes, I am an ice cream sandwich fiend. I saw that they have a variety of snacks and even a fridge full of produce. Definitely coming back here. read more

Good for produce. I cannot comment on anything else. I got several very ripe avocados here. Very fresh and decent prices. Lots of local fresh produce and good variety depending on the season. I will definitely return when I need some fresh food on North Shore. read more

I enjoy getting produce from this store. The staff is nice and they have many interesting and unique items for sale.

I visited this market on a recent trip to the North Shore. We had been to Hawaii before, so we knew that groceries are crazy expensive compared to even large cities on the mainland. It was awesome to find this place where would could get fresh produce for far less than the local grocery store charges. We were able to stock up so we could prepare some healthy meals in our condo while we were on the island. The market is easy to find, and the ladies who run it are very friendly. read more
