He lacked empathy and didn't provide the service I requested. He focused on the temples and cheeks which caused the hollowness under my eyes to get worse. He did not inject above the knuckles as discussed, so the hands are unbalanced. In a follow up meeting I was crying and he told me to stop as that would affect his pictures. At this point, I have permanent dark discoloration beneath my eyes, prominent veins that were not previously visible, asymmetry, and worsening of the hollow appearance I paid to have corrected. In building up the cheeks, which was not the service I requested, this made the hollows even more sunken than before. The entire tear trough area has a dark grey line from the nose to the outer eye. The fat transfer to my hands did not take, making that ineffective as well. I am worse off now than I was before and have to find a new doctor to fix this mess. Do not recommend, check his reviews.

The nurse was told to order the MRI for my dad as urgent and she did not so I was not able to schedule it for 2 days then Wellstar demanded an additional 5 for insurance approval, which was not required as I had already contacted insurance. I left a message on the portal, it was ignored. I called the nurse called back saying she made an error. She reordered the MRI as urgent and I immediately got it scheduled, 2 days behind what the doctor ordered. The next day the office called to cancel my appointment (that Dr. Jones said was urgent), because they needed Dr. Jones to handle another patient. I was told this patient was a "big thing". My Dad is also a "big thing". I spoke with the office manager who assured me we would see Dr. Jones but a bit later than scheduled. Meanwhile Dr. Jones was trying to help my Dad. He reviewed the MRI and consulted with other doctors. He called me (not my communication preference on the portal) and told me NOT TO COME IN for my appt but to see a surgeon he had spoken to. I did not get this voicemail. The appointment was not cancelled, I brought my 89 year old father back down there and waited an hour. No one told me we weren't even seeing the doctor. No portal message, no text (preferred method of communication), no email and no notice when we checked in and waited an hour. I spoke to 2 more people who run the practice. One was very kind and one was defensive. I was upset and explained that Dr. Jones went above and beyond but I had 4 unanswered messages in the portal over a week's time, no one in the office cancelled the appointment as Dr. Jones requested and then I was spoken to quite rudely by a manager. So, look elsewhere and save yourself some grief.

After that, she clipped part of the nail and said very vaguely that it was something she "might need in case there were issues with insurance approvals." At no point did she explain that 1.) this was a prerequisite for oral medication prescription, 2.) that the biopsy would result in additional charges, or 3.) that the sample would be sent to an outside lab for pathology testing. In fact, the way it was presented to me made it seem like I did not have a choice. Fast forward to today when I received nearly $400 in additional bills due to the nail biopsy and pathology lab testing. Mind you, Dr. Iwu had already determined my condition, so the biopsy and lab testing were not medically necessary. When I spoke with her after receiving the bill, she insisted she had explained the reason behind the biopsy (NOT TRUE) and how dare I question her. She also told me I "should have known" the sample would be sent to a lab. I am sorry, but last time I checked, I am not a medical professional, so why would or should I know this?
