I was done having kids and after having my twins and stopping breast feeding cold turkey, all of my breast tissue disappeared. 14 months later, I went to several doctors and decided to go with Dr. McNeel because of his experience, partnership with me in deciding the best course of action and his interaction with his practice staff. I wanted a natural look and give some volume to fill out shirts/dresses and I could not be happier with the result. The surgery went great, recovery was well explained and managed and follow-ups went easily. Went in for a routine Canthopexy with dr Hannah. It was a mild case. Came out of surgery looking the same. Zero difference. He said I would need a cathoplasty. I felt they should have discounted that procedure or do something for all the money I paid the first go around. He claimed I had scare tissue and that is why the initial surgery didn't work. He did not mention any scar tissue once he performed the first surgery. I feel like he could have worked with me. Even though I spoke with office manager. Still they did nothing for me. I left spending a lot of money with no difference and no compensation. Be careful going here. Supposedly he does this surgery all day. read more

I had a lower neck and facelift by Dr. West on 12.20.24. It was the worst experience I've ever had at this office. The results were worst than they were before I had surgery. I went back after just 3 months to address my concerns. Dr. West told me, just give it time and that some people say when the swelling goes down, they liked the look better before. That is not what you want to hear. I then went back 6 months later for before and after pictures. They literally looked the same and again, each month thereafter it got worse. Dr. West called me when he returned back from vacation and asked for me to come in so he could take a look. He didn't like the results from the pictures either. When I went to see him, he said it didn't look as bad as he originally thought, but things happen and he could correct it in his office without anesthesia. This is absolutely something you cannot correct in office. I refused for him to do a revision and requested multiple alternatives. The office ignored my calls. They were very unprofessional. I'm very disappointed of how they treated me as I've been a loyal patient of 20 + years. Please do your research before having a procedure at this office. read more

This place could have had a confederate flag hanging out front with a tag line that says, WOMEN OF COLOR NOT WELCOMED. From the moment In walked into my appointment, I felt so unwelcomed. Even the two people in the waiting room did not look up or smile when I spoke. The receptionist was friendly, but the rest of the nurses and team were cold as ice. No one smiled or gave a greeting. In fact, they made me feel as if I didn't belong and I was out of place. Their non verbal said, "this is a place for wealthly white women, what are you doing here". Once I was placed in an office to see the doctor, The nurse asked me questions without looking at me one time, I was tossed a gown and instructed to undress keeping my under garments on. No exam room, just a cold office with a desk and two chairs. It appeard to me as if they were saying, "she's not a real canidate" and didn't pursue me as a client at all. When Dr, West did enter the room, he NEVER looked me in the eye. He didn't begin by asking me about my potential surgical request, but was more interested in what I did for a living. Once I told him I was a Registered Nurse of 30 years, and now a current Law student, who will specialize in medial malpractice, his attitude was very guarded. He examed my abdomen for about TWO MINUITES and said I could get dressed while they worked up a qoute. This was the worse experiene I've ever had with a doctor. I knew then they would not be my choice for liposuction or the tummy tuck that I was seeking. I got dressed and left as quickly as I could. I can't say enough about Tammy G. who really got the ball rolling and actually was very instrumental in me getting everything in place (I can't thank her enough). MPS has one of the most unique and extensive websites that is first rate describing the various procedures they offer and they give you an idea of what a service might cost (no hidden guessing or "I got you" cost like many other places). Look elsewhere for any surgery or cosmetic procedure. Avoid at all costs. I will start by saying the nurses and staff are all great. Very friendly, personable, and responsive. That is where my positive review ends. I went to Dr. Hana for a breast augmentation. During the initial consultation, he seemed very knowledgeable and assured me that he felt comfortable and confident that he could help me achieve the results I wanted. Prior to surgery, my breasts were very slightly asymmetrical - slight enough where he said he did not think it even required different size implants. After surgery, my left breast was much larger than the right, but he reassured me that it was just the swelling and that it would go down. Almost a year later, my left breast is so much larger than my right, I'm more self conscious that I was before. The size is completely uneven, I need to wear extra padding in one side of my bra, one is higher than the other and the shapes are completely different. I went back to ask what his thoughts were and he essentially said "it's because your chest wall is uneven". I had a number of second opinions and they all dismissed his explanation and were surprised at his response. I had some pictures taken by another surgeon that showed multiple angles, which really showed the shocking difference in size. When I showed Dr. Hana he said "these pictures are shown from above and below, not a straight on shot." I asked him if he was happy with my results and if he would post my pictures on his website and he said "I don't understand the question." Extremely disappointed in the practice, and Dr. Hana's response to his very clear poor surgery. I now have to go through the entire process again with surgery, recovery, and not to mention the cost of a second surgery. read more

I had a combined facetite/necktite and Morpheus 8 procedure with Dr. McNeel. The procedure and staff were fine enough, but my treatment from Dr. McNeel was problematic. At the pre-op consult, facetite/necktite was recommended as a bridge to more invasive work. No mention at any point that thin people are poor candidates for this procedure, or that I would be better off going with another option. In fact, I asked about the potential for facial dimpling from being thin that I'd read in some reviews, but was assured it shouldn't be a problem because the technique is focused on the lower part of the face and neck. Okay fine. I invested my money - no small amount - and moved ahead. In a recent follow-up with Dr. McNeel at about a month out, I arrived feeling fairly satisfied with my results. He, on the other hand, seemed to be clearly unimpressed. Unprompted, he told me that he had informed me during the consult that thin body type is a major limitation, and that facetite/necktite is much better for people with more fat in their neck (obviously disturbing to hear, as he himself recommended it). McNeel then said I could further "help myself" by getting additional treatments - which they sell at their office. When I disagreed with his claim of disclosure and expressed confusion over this response, he simply left the room. I don't think I've ever felt so dismissed by a health care professional. So in consultation I was plainly told that the recommended procedure would likely accomplish my (quite realistic) goals - with just the usual caveat that expected results cannot be guaranteed. But then afterwards he focused only on the deficiencies, along with an effort to sell me on additional procedures to accomplish what I was told I would get in the first place. The Atlanta Metro area has no shortage of plastic surgeons. If you don't want to end up feeling like nothing more than a means to generate revenue (i.e., gross), I recommend picking another one. read more

Considering botox for those fine lines and wrinkles on your face? The most important choice of your treatment process will be the "who". Who will be your injector. You have to choose wisely. Look for a board certified physician. They have extensive training in facial anatomy and aesthetic treatment. Your doc should ask you questions as well as answer yours. He/she should make suggestions and recommendations. Choosing the right/best injector can dramatically impact your experience and result. You should also be able to call or return if you feel you have something to address or are concerned about. Couldn't be happier with Dr. West and his staff. read more

Don't fall for the bait and switch tactics of this practice. Before I scheduled my consultation I very clearly asked if they offered a free consultation and 3 times they confirmed yes they do offer a free consultation. Went for my consultation and decided to proceed with surgery and they made no mention of any co-pay or consultation fee while I was there. Several weeks later the surgery coordinator called to schedule my surgery and then waited until then to inform that I owed them $50 for the consultation or else they weren't going to do my surgery. I escalated this to Shannon who claimed to be the office manager and she read off the notes where I first called in asked about free consultation but still said I owed $50, I requested a call back from Dr Hanna (which never came btw) so I called back several days later only to be advised that Dr Janna was standing by the charge. read more

The staff was SO understanding, and Dr. West was beyond patient and understanding with me the entire way through. I had the same issue as Dana (another reviewer). In 2002, I had my breasts done in Chattanooga by a very good doctor. However, those saline implants were only meant to last about 10 years, and so I replaced them in 2012 at Marietta Plastic Surgery. Dr. Fabian did my surgery, and he has, unfortunately, retired. However, I have seen Dr. West for fillers and other work, and have been very pleased. I look natural and not "done" - and that picture in my profile is current...I'm 43. read more

I had a breast reduction with Dr. Patel. When I had my consultation with him I knew I'd be happy with the results. He made me feel comfortable and his bed side manner is 1st class. The office is clean and the staff very nice. My post ops with him he still remained the same well mannered dr and never rushed me out the door. I didn't have much pain. He didn't put in drainage. My recovery has been smooth sailing. I love my results. I went back to work after 1 week. I will continue to use Marietta Plastic Surgery. If u have any breast surgery use Dr. Patel! Went to Dr Hannah in January 2019. I'd lost over 150 lbs and needed a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. After all the healing was done my stomach was still really saggy, still a lot of fat in my abdomen. My breasts are droopy when i stand and when i lay down they slide under my arm pits. Went back to Dr Hannah to get another consult and see if he could fix these issues. Was told sure he could fix them but the surgery would cost me another $20k which i had already paid him $20k for this surgery. This is high i know but he came recommended and my husband and i were willing to pay more to have it done right. We were extremely wrong and this doctor will not back his work. Not only this- this problem is even worse- i had a growth in my lower abdomen that was getting filled with pus. Went to another doctor and they informed me i would have to have surgery to see what was going on. A few days later i was sitting and noticed what looked like a black string starting to come out of this area. I started pulling on the strong and low and behold it was about an 8 inch stitch that came out of the area. Can you believe this?? A few days after pulling out the stitch the area started to heal and i never had to have the surgery. Unbelievable. We have now scheduled another surgery with another doctor out of Miami. I had a breast reduction surgery in 2016 with Dr. Hanna. I left the initial consultation encouraged and hopeful that it would turn out well. I saw picture after picture of great results. When it came time to have the surgery, it went very badly for me. I was having trouble healing and the stitches were coming out. Whether this is a personal problem or the work of the surgeon, I am not sure. Finally it did heal and my breasts looked absolutely hideous. At 22 years old this is not what I had planned for. I spent more than 10,000 for this surgery. A year later I had to do scar revision surgery and pay another couple thousand. The appearance was improved from the initial surgery. I gave it two years to completely heal. But now years later, I hate the way they look still. And If I could take the surgery back I absolutely would. This review is not to spite the surgical center but to warn potential patients that what they don't tell you is that if it goes bad they aren't willing to do much other than continue to charge you for further surgeries. If you are young, considering reduction and you care about the look of your breasts, I highly suggest you reconsider having this operation done. read more

I've been going to MPS for some time now, always getting Botox and fillers. The first couple of visits I was very happy with the results and they lasted up to 4 months. However the last 3 treatments have left me very disappointed! The botox only lasting 35 to 39 days. In October of 2011 I had Botox and after two weeks I could still see visible lines around the eyes and spending more than $500.00 returned to see what could be done. there was no discount offered or anything to that degree, I was given more botox around the eyes and was charged for it. Now given the past results I let it slide. March 23rd I went in for Botox and filler and within 39 days it has begun to wear off significantly! Lesson learned, I will not return! read more

My daughter was mauled by a neighbor's dog almost two years ago. She had been seeing a maxillofacial surgeon for scar revisions, but he thought it would be wise to send her to a plastic surgeon to see if they had any other options. He recommended Dr. Symbas at Marietta Plastic Surgery. I cannot comment on Dr. Symbas' work, because I cannot get past the incompetent office staff and patient coordinators. We had an appointment for 2:15pm A staff member called to ask if the appointment could be moved up to 1:30pm. We waited until 2:30 until we were finally seen. No one gave us any explanation as we signed in or while we were waiting of any emergency or apologies. The patient rep emailed me the next day (no apology) saying that she would call the following day to make arrangements for the procedure- no call. I left messages & emails for two weeks- nothing. Finally I get a call Wednesday (on not the number that I left with the staff) that she was had days to schedule the procedure. I called back within the hour, nothing. I called the following day & left messages-nothing until Friday @5:59pm. Now there were no appointments/times left for the year. I know that my daughter's procedure is nothing to them. But the way this office treats patients is unprofessional. read more

Would not recommend anyone getting fillers or Botox done here. I left looking like a circus freak. I had a very important event planned ( hence the work done) and I couldn't even smile without looking like I had a seizure. I was seen by another doctor in the area and they were not a bit surprised as they have had to see and try to correct many of Dr.McNeels botched injections. Not a right place for keloid treatment, i have several steroid injection at this place with Dr Hannah at Town Lake location, after the injection, they never cover me with a bandage, sometime i walk to the front desk and blood still drop on the floor. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR. MCNEEL! I initially went to him two years ago to get a tummy tuck and liposuction on my flanks and inner thighs. My results were awesome but I ended up gaining 20 extra pounds afterwards. (My fault). I took the initiative to lose all the weight, which was 80 lbs, and my breasts really took a turn for the worse. I went back to Dr. Mcneel to get a breast lift and augmentation done and I was amazed again. Even after all the weight loss, my stomach looks better than ever. I even have definition in my ab muscles. My body just wasn't never the same after having a child. Dr. Mcneel put me back together again and I am sooooo thankful. Being quite tall and athletic in build, I also happened to be flat chested. Very flat chested. I always dreamed of having breasts. Not huge, porn star boobs but a nice size that fits my body and looks natural. Several friends had breast augmentation over a few years so I went to them first for advice. Everyone was really pleased with their outcomes and I was directed to Marietta Plastic Surgery (Dr. McNeel, specifically) by 5 friends. Consultation scheduled. I brought photos of what I would like to look like. Dr. McNeel spent quite a bit of time with me pointing out differences in the photos to help narrow down exactly what I was trying to achieve. He answered my list of questions honestly and told me all of the risks and benefits of the procedure and explained each implant material and shape and what results each one gives. After trying on sizers and using the virtual breast implant photos, I narrowed it down to a size range and scheduled my surgery. This was just over two years ago. Dr. McNeel did a marvelous job. He gave me exactly what I wanted. My breasts look natural and I could not be more pleased! I was referred to Marietta Plastic Surgery from my doctor. I was told they were the best in Georgia. My initial appointment was in February. I was told the documentation needed, what to expect from the appointment and the process of the procedure. The day of my appointment, their system was down and was told I may needed to come back for photos. After careful follow up, I had to go back for photos. Because I moved out of Cobb to Alpharetta, the Woodstock office was closer. I went to take the photos. After follow up upon follow up, some lady name Wanda calls me to tell me that none of my information was submitted to my insurance company for review because I lacked additional supporting documentation. Why wasn't this shared with me prior? I was so angry because after taking time off work, driving on the other side if town twice to find out now they don't have enough information. All this lady could say was "Sorry, and there is nothing she could do." I do not recommend this place to my ENEMY. The customer service and professionalism is the worst and I will never recommend or visit them ever. I have found another company who was very thorough with what I needed prior to the appointment and they are willing to walk me step by step of the process. read more

I got breast augmentation 1 1/2 years ago at Marietta Plastic Surgery Company. Due to Capsular Contracture on my left breast (scar tissue forming around breast). I recently went back and asked what needed to be done. Long story short, they want to charge me ( for 1 breast) $3950.00 (including a $175 discount) to fix it. I can understand paying the Anesthesia, facility fee, and new implant ,but the company also wants to charge me $1750.00 to perform the surgery and $.00 Cos175met Assure(?). I started crying on the phone to their "Patient/Client Counselor" (Tracie) and asked her to please ask the Dr. to work with me on the price. When I googled other Plastic surgeons, a lot of them waive the procedure fee for their clients. Anyway, I never got a phone call back, I ended up calling them a week later. I didn't get a phone call back, again. Instead, I got an email that Dr. West had denied my request, the next day. I have been distraught. Crying and depressed. I am in constant pain and discomfort and not to mention my breasts are now uneven. I just don't have another $3950.00 . Dr. Fabian actually performed my surgery, but since he is no longer working there, I was told the other doctors were not going to waive the procedure fee. I did not choose Dr. Fabian, but was assigned to him, however, I did choose Marietta Plastic Surgery Company. I feel this company is Very UNCARING and greedy. I feel as though they believe they did me a favor by performing Breast Augmentation on me, even though I paid them over $5000.00, as if they were the only Plastic Surgeons in the world. I am STILL waiting for them to call me back because 2 weeks ago I was told that they would "reopen" my file. My husband has called them back twice since then and was told Tanya (the last women we spoke to) was "unavailable" and would call us back. She has not. Pick another Plastic Surgery Company.
