My first visit was good and my feets/legs felt much better. After 1-1/2 years I wore out the original inserts. Since I lost weight I asked if they could also measure my feet. The lady said no because I wasn't buying shoes from them. Even though I was spending $120 on inserts she wouldn't take 2 minutes to measure me. Guess what? You just lost me as customer after 2 years. Next year I will gladly take my business elsewhere, even if it means driving to Jacksonville. read more

Best experience ever. I have 2 XC boys and we went to get fitted. She (Darlene) took an hour with both my boys to try to find the right fit. One chose her fit and the other one didn't but she treated them like kings and was no pressure. Wanted them to get the best shoe for them. I researched some stores who sold Vionic brand shoes here in East Florida and quickly perused the website for Foot Comfort in St. Augustine. I read the reviews and, despite an occasional negative comments, decided to make the 45 minute trip. My friend and I were greeted quickly by a woman who seemed friendly and willing to help. I asked about a specific style I was searching for and was told they did not carry them so I settled for trying on a flip flop style. I wanted to look further, asking the woman to give me a few minutes so she continued working with another customer. There were at least 4 other shopping. After a very short while I decided to wait on this purchase and thanked the woman for her time and started for the door with my friend. The saleswoman abruptly swept up the box of shoes I tried on and hurled them towards the store room in the back corner of the store and in a enraged voice audible by my friend and I said, and I quote, "BURN IN HELL! I was so shocked I had to stop once outside the store to verify what I had just heard. I WAS MORTIFIED BY THIS OUTBURST! In no way had I shown her any disrespect, I simply did not make a purchase. THIS WOMAN NEEDS TO BE TERMINATED! Another review was dead on; she is not only rude but completely and utterly sick to respond this way. Horrible business model--not customer friendly at all once you give them the money. I was looking for a place to shop for Vionic shoes. It was advertised that they had Vionic--so I stopped here. First, they didn't have Vionic shoes. OK, I'll look around. The man working there seemed very knowledgeable at first, but I realized once I paid that he had no interest in my being a future customer. I had to special order the shoe that I wanted since there was only one color in stock and very few options in his catalogue to choose from. I placed the order since he was so helpful. After leaving and thinking about the experience I decided to wait until a better selection was available. I went back after 2 hours and wanted to cancel the order until new colors came in. He said "no refunds". He wouldn't cancel my order for a refund, yet neither he nor the receipt specified that I couldn't get a refund for cancelling an order. He said I had to wait until the ordered arrived and then decide on another color if/when there were more choices available. On the receipt it said "Return and Exchange Policy: NO REFUNDS/ EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT ONLY". I didn't have the item so I didn't want to return or exchange anything. I will pick up my purchase when it arrives but will NEVER return to this store. read more

I went to this store to get fitted for inserts based on a prescription from my Podiatrist. Darlene, one off the owners, spent considerable time trying to figure out what might work for me. I left the store with one insert and they would order me another one. I went back to my Podiatrist the following week. Upon looking at what they had given me, she clearly was not happy with the fact that it was not only the wrong size but that they only gave me one which left me hobbling around for a week with an uneven gait prior to this appointment. The Podiatrist gave me a note to return the item to the store for a refund. When I went back, they clearly said they would only give store credit. I expected a refund based on the fact, that they didn't give the right insert per the Podiatrist 's request, and even if it had been right, they never called me to have me pick up the other one. Furthermore, the Podiatrist said that you never send someone out of the store with only one insert when the patient requires two. She didn't understand how that could happen because they are only sold in pairs. Well, I never got a refund even though it was clearly their mistake. There was another customer in the store, so the husband who was issuing a store credit, patted me on the shoulder and kept telling me to have a " bless day" taking no responsibility in sending out a customer who felt her issue had been resolved. The insert cost over $ 85.00. The recommendation is to go to Foot Solutions in Pontre Vedra. They have an outstanding reputation. read more
