I'm the type of shoe shopper that has to try, walk on before I purchase the shoe. Nico went above and beyond helping find my perfect size. Come to find out, my perfect size isn't 8.5 in women but a 6 or 6.5 kids! I would not have found that out if it wasn't for this young man. His customer service and patience was impeccable. I had planned a trip to Foot Locker thinking they would have a nice selection of shoes; and short of the fact that they didn't carry Skechers brand shoes, they did have quite a nice selection of very pricey shoes from which to choose. I had set aside $500.00, and was there to buy a couple pairs of shoes. I walked around the store looking at the selection and walked over to a young man wearing a Foot Locker shirt that appeared to be doing nothing specific, to see if I could get some help. He did give me some direction, but didn't bother to follow through. He didn't close the sale. I went to look at the shoes he directed me to and walked around looking for another sales person and ran into the first guy that had originally directed me, and when he looked up and saw me, he made a beeline in the other direction... I was shocked! So instead of buying any shoes, I walked out! Just down the street on Sunset is a great place called OFF BROADWAY SHOE WAREHOUSE and I bought 4 very nice pairs of Skechers brand shoes and only spent $240.00. They have a great deal where you buy one pair for $59.00 and get another for half off. Retail companies like Foot Locker, would do well to "DITCH" the Gen-Ex crowd when it comes to finding reliable employees. I was almost instantly greeted by a kind gentleman named Brian. He asked me what I was looking for and I explained to him that I walk a lot and was seeking comfort. He grabbed the shoes I was interested in and brought shoes that he recommended for my needs. Fair to say Brian knows what he is doing and I went with the shoes he recommended. I am in town for vacation and I bought a pair of Adidas NMD's and when I returned home the next day, I realized that I was given two right shoes. I was too far away to go back to this same store to get the correct shoes therefore I had to go to a different foot locker, out of my way, to get my money back because they did not have the same shoes. I am very disappointed with this footlocker/ six 02 because it is their responsibility to check the shoes before selling them in order to make sure the customer is getting the correct shoes.
