This mall and plaza must have (especially in the late 90s and 2000s) is still shining bright with the latest fashion trends of the casual wear persuasion. From kids to mens to womens and teens, there's something for everyone at Tillys, bringing comfort with quality to their displays, inventory and online shop. The prices are fair, though not the best deal for similar items with the exception of their sales throughout the year. Aside from clothing you can explore accessories, backpacks, sunglasses, skateboards, snowboards, tumblrs and miscellaneous items that very much exclaim Tilly's as well as Tilly's - Universal Citywalk. Open from 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily, this location is one of the few longer-standing staples at Citywalk, like it's neighboring stores Hot Topic, Dodger's Clubhouse and Sephora. Friendly staff. If I am looking for Vans shoes, I like to come to Tillys. They have nice selections. Price is quite reasonable. The staffs are welcoming & helpful. It is the customer service that I keep coming back. The store is always kept clean & organized. read more

Tillys - Men's Clothing Near Me - Universal City, California

Kind of an impressive store front when you are walking through Universal City Walk. Store that is geared towards skating and surfing. Staff were friendly and interacted with us a few times while we were shopping. In fact, even helped us place an on line order when one of the items wasn't available in the size that we were looking for. They have a women's section as well as a men's section. They have everything from hoodies to t-shirts - to long sleeve t-shirts - to pants - to shoes (probably some sandals/flip flops don't remember now). Prices are comparable to other stores that specialize in these types of items. Store is a little crowded, but they have packed a ton of stuff in here, so if you're into this type of stuff, good chance you'll find something that you like. The staff in this shop is so amiable and welcoming. Anya was so darn sweet to my little sister. She even added a personal touch to the spray, lol Such a simple thing, but it goes so well with the aesthetic of the store. I was at the Universal Citywalk during the weekend and decided to step inside Tilly's. They had a sales girl working outside to let customers inside during Covid. It was another lady in front of the store and I though it was a line to get inside. I socially distanced behind her. Well, she wasn't in line, just waiting and finally the sales girl figured that one out (took a bit) and we were able to get inside the store. The layout is fine, easy to browse, not too many people inside. The merchandise is OK, prices- somewhere in the middle, didn't see anything for myself here, but I'm surely out of their demographics. I remember the store having cooler merchandise and better priced. But, for the right age, this is a decent option! read more

My son finally decided to wear jeans again (mostly wear soccer pants or joggers). Tilly's at Universal Studios Hollywood was his choice to shop. A very charming lady staff, ANYA, greeted us when he's choosing what kind of jeans he wants. She helped us choose the right color, fit and sizing of his jeans. She was so helpful and assisted us until the end. She made us feel very comfortable shopping and she's about knowledgable in what she does. She's great! read more

All of the employees at this location are FANTASTIC, especially Bella and Daniel! Bella was so helpful and patient in the dressing room as I needed countless size changes. She did so with a smile on her face and made me feel super comfortable! Definitely one of the best try-on experiences I've had. Daniel was so patient with me as I picked out a dozen stickers (which took me a loooong time). They both were so friendly, and engaged in small talk but showed that they actually cared about their customers, not that they were just doing their jobs. They deserve so much recognition for this! This review is focused on the customer service we received. Lorena was really nice and inviting when we arrived. Checked in with us, let us know about the fitting rooms, and gave us space to browse around. We forgot a backpack while there and when we went back to look for it, Lorena had it behind the counter. Went in to buy a pair of checkered vans for my daughter, picked up a pair and it was marked $59 on the bottom. When we went to check out this skinny little man with black hair charges me $79 .I asked why and he said they neglected to change the tags with a price hike. My experience here was better than great. My girlfriend and I came in looking for some clothes for a concert and was instantly greeted by Gio. He was such a great help. I was looking for some pants and shirts and he was very informative and patient, letting me know better deals and other options of what I was looking for. I'm so tired of these companies who do not care about their customers and have horrible systems of accountability. I ordered a pair of boots for my daughter's first day of school. I would never spend that much on boots for myself but it was a special occasion and I wanted to do something nice for them. I order the boots and wait. The shipping company sends a text that the order was delivered, I look outside and they're not there. I call the shipping company (OnTrac who has horrible reviews) and they say they show them being delivered and I have to call Tillys. So I call Tillys and file a claim. I'm told the claims process is that they will contact the shipping company and ask about the delivery. OnTrac already claims they delivered it. So I wait 3 days for Tillys to send me an email that OnTrac said it's delivered and they're closing the claim. The whole issue is that they said it was delivered when it wasn't! So now I am out $200 and don't have the boots. I'm of course filing a dispute with my cc company but this is ridiculous. Either the driver said they delivered it to the right address when they didn't or they stole those boots. I won't be buying anything from Tilly's again. read more

We stopped into Tilly's today to do a little browsing and my daughter was very excited to buy some new clothes. The entire staff was very friendly greeting us, asking if we needed any help and informing us of promotions that they had going on in the store. Anya was so friendly and helpful. She made suggestions and helped my daughter find the right size and combinations for outfits. We spent quite a lot of time trying to find exactly the right size and Anya was very patient bringing her various sizes to try on. I also noticed that the rooms were disinfected after each guest left and that the clothes that were tried on were not put back on the floor for resale right away. This was not my first visit to this location and I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. read more
