We never received a confirmation email for the order. The Wednesday after we received my daughter's shoes. December 5 I called the store to ask why we still hadn't received my son's shoes. I was initially told to call customer service, but then told (almost in the same breath) that they received them in store that day and would be shipped out the next day. Ten minutes later, I got a call from the store saying they were wrong and it wasn't our order they got, but someone else's. They again gave me the number for customer service. I called the number provided and it was a completely different company. I googled a customer service number and called that number. Talked to a lady who told me I would need to call back the next day because the store had already closed for the day and they needed to confirm with them what was going on with my order. Called again the next day and was told that shoe is no longer in stock. A refund was supposedly processed. I was told they cannot issue refunds to debit cards, which was my original form of payment, so I provided them a credit card number, as my only other options were to wait for a check or to drive out to the store and get my refund (the store is an hour away from my home). I was told 3-5 business days and the refund would post. Yesterday was 5 days and, you guessed it - no refund! I again called customer service and was told they tried to refund it to the original form of payment but couldn't because it's a debit card. I explained that I gave them a separate credit card number because I was told it couldn't be issued to a debit. They gave me some line about not keeping the original form of payment on file, so they couldn't possibly have tried to issue to that. But then I was told a refund was approved yesterday and a check would be sent in 7-10 business days, which now puts us out $100 for well over a month right before Xmas. They didn't even offer to overnight the check and of course the processing department for refunds doesn't take calls! This company has failed at every opportunity to provide the bare minimum of customer service. I will never buy anything from them again.

They greeted us when we came in the door and asked what they could do to help. My friend was on crutches so they told him to sit down and tell them what he was looking for. We found a good shoe and had a great experience in the process. Would recommend anyone who needs shoes go there as they will take care of you.

Way to lure me in DSW! So I didn't find any slippers that would meet my senior mom's long list of requirements. Their slipper selection was pretty limited. I did see some sandals I liked, but none in my size in the color I liked. So I went to the clearance section; there are always lots of size 7s to peruse. I found a pair of Teva sandals. I'm not really into hippie- style shoes, but I tried them on anyways. They were so comfy! Of course I *had* to buy them because with clearance shoes you get that extra discount, you know. What started at $59.98 ended up at $31.99. Yay for my feet!

My child wanted the classic black and white checkered platforms which were not in stock at the other malls. While they offered to ship them to us, she found them here in stock. They were not discounted, which is fine, but they did have a nice buy one get one half off on the discounted styles. So this is a great place to find some nice clothes and shoes you might have missed out on at the regular locations. I also like the Vans return policy. If you do happen to buy the products online and you are not satisfied, you may bring them back to the store instead of shipping them back. That makes me more likely to do an online purchase since mailing items back is such a hassle.

His expert knowledge of all of the Sketchers products, personal service, and clear explanations provided us with the information that we needed to decide on which shoes to buy. While we were in there, I figured I'd look for a dress for an upcoming wedding in 2 weeks, as well as a Gala in October. I've heard great things about the clothes at this store, but I've never shopped here. The second I picked up a dress, I was approached by a salesperson. She asked me what I was looking for, and I told her. She asked my name, introduced herself, and asked my dress size. She told me she'd set aside the dress I had picked in a fitting room, and will pick up a few others I might like to try on. I continued to look around. When I went into the fitting room, the salesperson said she'd get a pair of shoes for me to try on with the dresses. Now, I understand what's going on here. I've worked in retail for years. I appreciate the idea of trying on shoes with a dress to get the complete look, and they're obviously hoping for a sale on the shoes w/ the dress. I didn't try on all of the dresses, but I loved the one I originally picked, and one that she set in the room for me. I also loved the shoes, of course. My mother-in-law thought they were a little pushy, but I get it. They did a great job. Staff worked as a team very well, and the customer service was outstanding. As busy as they were, my salesperson never abandoned me. Her sales skills were professional and personable, not fake and annoying. Normally, I want to be left alone when shopping & don't want to be bothered with annoying & pushy sales people. For whatever reason, I didn't fight it and let them cater to me. It was kind of nice! They provided everything I needed to complete my outfit, and build their sale. I walked in there without the intention of buying anything, and walked out with 2 dresses, a pair of shoes, and jewelry. I had a great experience and will definitely be back to hand over more of my hard earned money.

Chronic UPT (units per transaction) obsessives. So when my Mom suggested she, my aunt, and I try to look for a dress for my engagement portraits there, I kind of groaned. When I go shopping, I do not want to be bothered. Maybe this is from knowing what sales people are after - a bigger sale so their numbers look fantastic. I am not interested in helping a pushy sales woman build her sale, so we looked for dresses ourselves. I was approached, asked about what the outfit was for, and told them I was okay to look on my own. The sales woman took my dress and read my size and stuffed my room full of clothes. She also told me she'd be right back with pants. Not so fast. I asked her to take everything out of the room and told her I didn't need any pants. I came in here for one dress, pulled a few that I liked based on my price point, and would let her know if I needed any help. She huffed and snapped at me - she said she was trying to help ME. (She was really trying to help herself). When we finally did need help, she made sure to ignore us. My Mom had a concern about the dress but she just walked off while my Mom was mid-sentence. We got help from another sales woman who was less aggressive and ended up leaving with the dress freshly steamed in a garment bag. I try to avoid this store at all costs because I cannot handle rude, pushy employees who want to smother you with their "suggestions". I know it's her job, but what would have made her sale sweeter is if she offered us help when we needed it, not revoked her manners when we weren't going to purchase items of her choice. Great selection. I will return, but with headphones and little to no eye contact!

Because my…read morewrist was broken and I was unable to do my own hair, I tried the salon since there were several openings (1st sign of trouble) available. I went to an African American stylist, with 20 years experience according to her bio, for 2 strand twists. I could have done a better job with my one good hand. Very nice lady, absolutely horrific stylist. The twists were loose, janky and huge. I paid $73 for that fiasco. Lesson learned.
