Mike Gaumer never speaks to you directly. He usually refers everything to someone else in his office who more often than not, gives you the runaround. They are nice to you over the phone but make up their own facts, which boils down to lying essentially. Everything is fine until you ask them why the just increased your premium radically, and then the double talk begins. This company don't give a crap about loyalty. I been with them for almost 5 years. Every year seems like my insurance keeps increasing. This year it went up 80 dollars. I have a very good driving record, never been in an accident, no tickets in over 15 years, never filed a claim. But for some reason my insurance keeps going up. When I do call they give me some lame excuse. It's not us it's the state of California. Were working on something to lower rates. Just gotta wait until the end of the year. Yeah right! As a long time happy customer of this office, as in over a decade, I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I personally walked into Mike's office to cancel an insurance policy that had tripled in monthly charges once the term was up. I feel I was held ransom on my refund just so they could sell me another policy and to make a quick buck. In my opinion, this office does not have their clients best interests in mind. My recommendation is simple, CALL SOMEONE ELSE for your insurance needs. Personal message to Mike Guamer, I will always be an unsatisfied past customer that will gladly proclaim my personal experiences with everyone I come across regarding the hoodwinking being perpetrated by your office. I have had a very good experience with the staff at this office, particularly Dave. I have had to deal with reopening a past out of state claim for additional repairs, and Dave helped assist me through the process. I also dealt with an accident claim made against me that was actually another vehicle (there was a license plate mix up on the police report). Dave again walked me through the process and helped me clarify with the other insurance company that it was in fact another vehicle that was involved in the accident.
