Time to update my review. Been back several times since my last review. Sunrise Natural Foods is…read morestill my favorite place to shop for vitamins, supplements, and muscle recovery lotions. The store inventory is huge with various brands, all top notch. The inventory is fresh as well. Meaning no expired products on the shelf. Super clean and well organized shop. There are two Sunrise Natural Foods. One is in Roseville and the other is this one, in Auburn. The staff here is engaging but not overly intrusive. The current staff does a walk about asking everyone if they have they need assistance. If one person doesn't know, they will get a coworker that can provide additional information. The shop also carries small but mighty inventory of grocery staples, fresh produce, prepackaged local meat and chicken, water filling station, makeup, and local made soap, Another thing to not is that they discontinued their purchase punch cards . But will honor ones that have not been redeemed yet. .

They carry bulk dry goods & herbs as well as supplements. Cosmetics and lotions and potions all are homeopathic. They also had snack items which was amazing. Can't wait for my next visit.

She was so knowledgeable of the types of flowers to use and Offered great suggestions in the arrangement. Totally 10 star review if there was such a thing on yelp. Very much appreciated... Thank you so much, Alice!

He looked at me and another guy and said "who was here first". We both stated I was there first and I started to say that I wanted to order a turkey sandwich. The young man behind the counter interrupted me and said "fill out that paper and put it there" as he was pointing to the counter. As I was doing so, he stated to the other guy "what are you getting, I'll get that started". Nice gesture to the other guy. Then, I completed my sandwich request form and put it exactly where the young man told me to. Behind a few others walked up, completed their sandwich request form and placed them next to mine. One by one, other sandwich request were completed until myself and someone else asked about my sandwich. It was only after a white lady was in unison with me and asked about my sandwich, did someone take my sandwich request form and completed it. Oh! Did I mention that most everyone else there was white in color? As i finally received my sandwich, I went to the self checkout to pay for my sandwich. After I paid for my sandwich, there was a lady there by the name of Terri. I asked Terri if there was a manager that I could speak to. Terri immediately stated "I'm a manager". I told her my complaint and Terri immediately stated I was lying. Not only that Terri asked me "did you pay for that"? As I had my sandwich in hand, I stated "yes, I paid for this, here is my receipt". I've shopped Raley's and Bel Air for years. I am a loyal customer and have been for a very long time. I have never felt that type of treatment from Raley's and Bel Air. I expect that from places but not from there. Not from there. Here is a picture of the guy at Raley's that treated me so well.

Adj: Solid Safeway in Auburn…read more Nice store here, we were on our way to a 4th of July party and needed to buy some yummy items to share. This was the perfect stop off to grab ice cream and fruits. Store is in a shopping plaza tucked into a side street off the main hwy (49) that goes through Auburn. I quickly found a couple tubs of Dreyer's ice cream in the freezer aisle and got a good amount of very nice and big bing cherries in the produce section. Store is laid out similar to all other Safeway's I've been to, always with produce on one side and deli/bakery on the other end. This store was nice and clean. Service was ok too, as we just self checked out. Some of the staff looked bummed they had to work on a holiday and I don't blame them. Overall, a solid store, it was quite hot on the 4th and there was not much shade from trees in the parking lot, that was really my only gripe.

I usually come here to pick up the peanut butter cookies they make fresh everyday from their bakery. However, I tried to go up the aisles to see if I could find something I couldn't find anywhere else. All their items are unique from the beer and ciders they carry down to the frozen foods. They source local organic and sustainable foods whenever they can. "Since 1976 they've been building a sustainable and equitable food system that supports healthy people, animals and the environment. When you spend your dollars at The Patch, you contribute to a thriving local economy and a kinder, more resilient world" ~From their web page They also have a fresh food and a hot food self serve section. I haven't tried it, but everything looks delicious! I did get to try a smoothie and those are super healthy and delicious as well. When I got up to check out, the employees were so wonderful and told me about their program you can partake in. I was definite interested, so she gave me a card with some info on it.... I can't wait to come back and pick up those peanut butter cookies!!!!
