In short he was struggling and began acting out in a number of ways. Ways not typical of who he is and was as a person. We identified this through some very apparent, key events that took place in his life. In briefing, our son was headed toward a path of disaster and laced with confusion, frustration, betrayal, trust & love issues and you name it. All while his body is physically morphing into manhood. He was a mess. We were afraid for his future and became a mess with him. His mother would sob at night. We felt bad for him but also knew if we didn't help him find his path it could be disastrous for his future. A lot of people thought he was dark or hopeless but those who knew him closely, knew he was a special human loaded with potential and greatness. It just needed to be harnessed. That's when we connected with Ben Murphy, one of the best things that ever happened for our family. Our son has been seeing Ben regularly for over a year and couldn't be better. I mean a complete turn around. I think it took a few months before actually noticing real difference in attitude and his increased optimism with life in general. (Without ANY medications or drugs) our son genuinely was able to work through some key issues he was having because of Ben's work. I highly recommend Ben Murphy for any family counseling needs, specifically troubled youth or youth issues, he was an answer to prayer. Also just a solid human being in general who is the real deal. We have had our son continue to see him weekly for over a year and he actually looks forward to their weekly meeting. My regular provider is Soo Kang, but recently I wasn't able to see her and had a phone appointment with another provider, Warphen. As part of the normal process, his assistant called beforehand to get everything organized and prepared so the appointment would go smoothly. That assistant--or, as I prefer to call him, his "TRUSTY SIDEKICK" was Shelby. Shelby was absolutely outstanding! This young man didn't know me from Adam. I wasn't his regular patient, and this was basically a substitute appointment, but he never once treated me like I was a squeeze-in, an inconvenience, or somebody he could give a rat's ass about helping. He treated me with respect from beginning to end. He was prompt, professional, efficient, courteous, and never condescending, rude, or arrogant. But the thing that impressed me most was simple: Shelby did what he said he was going to do! The Bible says, "Let your Yes mean Yes and your No mean No." So if Almighty God says it, who are we to question it? Stand aside Citizens.... Shelby is on a mission from God and he's doing the Lord's work! Doing what you say you are going to do is supposed to be normal, but unfortunately these days it isn't. Too often somebody tells you they're going to take care of ten things, you hang up, and maybe one gets done. Then you have to put on your big-boy pants, call them back, remind them to do the job they're being paid to do, and still handle all of your own responsibilities on top of it. Not Shelby. He followed up. He emailed me. He faxed the correct people. He called when he said he would. He even gave me his direct business line so I could reach him if necessary. He was, quite frankly, a breath of fresh air in a world filled with farts. Shelby, I hope you see this: wonderful job, young man. You are greatly appreciated! To his supervisors: this man needs a raise. Don't get rid of him. Give him a promotion, a cushy desk, special parking spot, an extra belly scratch on Friday afternoon--whatever you folks do to make a great employee's job a little happier, make it so. She does moth but blow smoke up my arse and tells me to exercise. I finally am able to get in with an actual Psych as apprised to a PA and twice now she hadn't shown for our telehealth appts. Then she boasts that's she's gonna change my life yet she's lying saying that she send my meds while still on the call with me when she in fact did not. I had to call back just to get one of the three sent in. It's now the following day, I've emailed her, I've called the office 4 times, spoken to her medical asst, get hung up on when I ask to speak to a mgr/supervisor and now I start off another day babysitting another doctor who just treats her patients as another number. They have the people answering the phones asking for reviews which is ridiculous. You judge a doctors office off the doctors, not the people who answer the phones. They also delete bad reviews because this is the second one I've written.

I was left with feelings of despair and anguish for at least a week. In July 2019 I was strangled and raped. In another instance, Veronica had the audacity to ask me if the strangulation was a "thought" or a "memory." In hindsight I should have told her it was a FACT. Why was she questioning me about my credibility anyway? I'm just saying, as a trauma victim you are very vulnerable and your boundaries should never be ignored due to the therapist's own adgenda. Unacceptable. Beware.

Such a high quality of care from the start of my experience. She let me explore quietly as the other class finished and its truly a tranquil space. There is tea and water as well as a long conference table you can viist with others at. There is a large outdoor space with lots of seating and tables. The session I had was so rejuvenation- I felt honestly so healed by my Yin Yoga session, I felt centered and cared about by the instructor. The classes are small and you feel seen and heard.
