I would highly recommend if you are a therapist and interested in brainspotting, to take a training through them. I had such a wonderful experience I decided to start seeing a therapist there for brainspotting for myself. As a therapist, it is hard for me to find someone I really like and feel comfortable with, but I have found that with Veronica Kennedy! I have seen her three times now and she is wonderful! Her agenda was clear at the beginning of the session when I told her to focus on the rape and she insisted I deal with long past childhood trauma. I said no. She didn't listen. I was left with feelings of despair and anguish for at least a week. In July 2019 I was strangled and raped. In another instance, Veronica had the audacity to ask me if the strangulation was a "thought" or a "memory." In hindsight I should have told her it was a FACT. Why was she questioning me about my credibility anyway? I'm just saying, as a trauma victim you are very vulnerable and your boundaries should never be ignored due to the therapist's own adgenda. Unacceptable. Beware.
