Before sitting you go to the counter order your food and have a seat of your choice. They come out and bring it to you this option of course is for dining in. They have plenty of fresh baked cookie that are constantly coming out and being replenished. Different kinds and colors very appealing to children I must say. For my daughter I ordered the churro pancakes which was a big order and very filling. She enjoyed the crunch from the chocolate balls that were on top. I got the Spicy vodka rigatoni which I didn't find to be spicy however it did have good taste. I did wish it came with bread or something however it was ok for what it was. I got my daughter a bottled juice from the fridge and for myself I got a house made juice since I did not want coffee honestly the juice tasted like water and for $5-$6 totally not worth it they tried to add some syrup to sweeten it up it really didn't make a difference we really did not enjoy it. read more

For Five Coffee Roasters (Garden City location) clearly deserves a Five Star Review! It's a beautiful cafe, with outdoor seating both out front on Seventh Street and a nice patio out back. The espresso-based drinks have to be the best on Long Island. They have my favorite beans. Dang, forgot to buy a bag today. The coffee is consistently great. Big Guy Comfort Factor of 8. Very comfortable sturdy seating on the patio - seat could have been wider but I was very comfy. My wife and I stopped in after my doctor's appointment this morning. Good doctor visit deserves a trip to For Five. The pastries and other food are displayed beautifully. We ordered a cappuccino, a latte and two Bostocks - an almond french toast kind of muffin thing. Everything was delicious. My only issue is that we were charged an unannounced 4% Operational Fee. I'm not sure what that is. The coffee and food are expensive to begin with (but well-worth it), so an additional 4% is not appreciated. Nonetheless, a great place. We've been to the Garden City location at least 4 times and will definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

I've been several times and I keep telling myself I like it there but I always leave feeling like I was robbed. 1) the coffee isn't that good - I find the Starbucks/Dunkin counterparts to taste better. 2) the prices. Jeez. I get that it's Garden City and it's an upscale place, but the coffee is more expensive than it needs to be considering the cups and small and I don't even think the cold brew tastes great. We were looking to have a light lunch and this place hit the spot. Yuit's a really pretty place with plenty of seating inside and outside. So clean and smells lovely when you walk in. We ordered the falafel Mediterranean with chicken. It was well enough for two people and delicious. The raspberry cold brew iced tea was perfect and refreshing. We also had an iced macchiato (so good) and an almond croissant, yummy. Service was great they brought us an extra plate without asking. It's your typical Starbucks with free WiFi but better food. I couldn't figure out what to have for lunch, so let my coffee urges lead the way and decided on For Five Coffee Roasters. The name sounded really familiar to me, then I learned that I had their coffee in another state, somewhere I couldn't place a finger on. We ordered the salmon toast with sriracha cream cheese and some shrimp salad, with a hot and an iced cappuccino. While prices for the food were pretty ridiculous, they were really good and ingredients extremely fresh. Not to mention, the space is beautiful and spacious. Seventh avenue Garden City and across the street from Starbucks was an excellent location choice for Five Coffee Roasters to open. The location was formerly the HSBC Bank branch. It is a spacious place with comfortable lounging along with counter style seating. I have only been to this coffee brewery once, but I will return often. read more

Incredible oatmeal - I always load mine up with flax, seeds, nuts, and blueberries so it's nice to find this when travelling. Pastries look great but I didn't try them. There were no gluten free alternatives other than Kind bars #SadFace Many coffee variations are available; way beyond my simple preference for latte. Came here for the sole purpose of studying and space was big enough where I didn't feel guilty staying for 5+ hours. However, the food and drinks here are painfully expensive for what you get. Close to $8 for your run-of-the-mill iced latte and a whopping $25 for a chicken salad. Both were underwhelming. There is also an automatic service charge tacked onto each order. Music is club level loud (I could hear it through my giant noise-canceling Sonys). WiFi speed is fine -- if you can connect to it, that is (it took me 30 minutes to successfully connect). Excellent coffee and a beautiful space with ample indoor and outdoor seating both in the front and back! Their baked goods are pretty tasty, they have warm spanakopita at all times and their croissants and giant colorful cookies are quite good. The strengths though are in their coffee and prepared food, the latter of which is trendy and well executed. They have Birria grilled cheese which is well spiced and comes with the requisite birria broth to dip the sandwich into. My toddler loved the churro pancakes and The BLTA with the bacon jam is fantastic. My two favorite items are the oatmeal and the Koulouri with poached eggs - the Koulouri bread is delicious crusty and nutty and works well the pile of herbs and tomatoes it comes with. The 24 hour oatmeal is fantastic and hits the spot. We come here often and our dog is welcome in the back! read more

Compared to my first visit a few months ago, my second visit was not as good. Although they have many great varieties of pastries ready to go, the dine in and sit down took quite a while for our food to arrive. I had ordered the French toast which was fluffy but a little bland in taste unfortunately. I also ordered a flat white which tasted fine but nothing special. My fiancée and I came here 4x within the first week of its opening. This spot is so modernized with the most chill vibes. Not only does it have coffee, but it has all different types of food. We got the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni and it was absolutely delicious. I think it's one of the best I've ever had. Our friend got the Tuna Poke Bowl and really enjoyed it. The coffees are also pretty good. This cute coffee shop vibe has the aesthetic that I love. It's giving upscale, bougie, pretend to be productive at work vibes. The food is actually pretty damn good too. Been here twice. Very spacious and nice ambiance with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is pretty good. What is a major con is the pricing. $24 for a very average chicken Caesar wrap is highway robbery. I will say it was a large portion but everything on the menu is insanely overpriced. It's not like you're getting table service either, you have to order at the counter. I've been to way better coffee shops that don't nearly charge as much as this place does. They also charge a 4% "operational charge" on top of the already extremely high prices. Total ripoff, greedy and zero respect for the customer. Wow! I think this is my new favorite study cafe vibe spot! SO spacious. It's a large place with cute sofas and tables to study at. There's fast wifi, good music selection, and outlets everywhere Thid place checks all the boxes. Come here for some affordable (and delicious) coffee + grind out some work! Definitely recommend! For Five opened recently in Garden City and I've LOVED coming here since. The space is huge so it can accommodate people here to study, grab a brunch with friends, or go on a fun coffee date. It is quite busy though but I've always been able to find a seat/table. When I visited around when it just opened, the owner gave me a free cookie which was delicious! The decor reminds me of a modern hotel lobby, with some quirky touches on the shelves. The food options are a bit pricey, but the portions are large so I can usually share an entree with a friend. Basically the vibes are immaculate here. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Most expensive piece of toast ever. The peach French toast, which costs $20, is one piece of bread. One slice. Twenty dollars. And a few canned peaches. It doesn't taste bad... however, I feel as if I've been robbed of $15. The thing is, I like the atmosphere here. I can bring my computer in, have caffeine and get work done. Which is great. And I love the choice of outdoor seating. Even with all the good, I am actually questioning coming back here. I feel completely taken advantage of by the owners. Very spacious, clean, new, and lots of seating. It's pretty loud and crowded but it was not hard to find a table. Spotted lots of people studying, but you would definitely need noise canceling headphones. Drinks are on the expensive side (I didn't think they were outstanding), and even more expensive when it comes to the food. Tried one of their cookies, and it was VERY good. If you're coming to forfive, I recommend looking at the menu on your phone while you're on the very long and slow line. They don't have the food menu posted anywhere, they're stacked at the register. Kind of silly if you ask me. The lady at the register was unfriendly and so I panicked to order something quickly from the menu I finally got a chance to look at(at the register). I got the Avodaise Eggs Benedict BLT. While I didn't hate it, it really didn't blow me away. The avodaise was an avocado hollandaise sauce. It was very bland, the bacon was floppy and the watercress was just overkill. I will say though, the portion even without the abundance of watercress was fair. The servers were so sweet when they brought out the food and gave us a box for our food to go. The ambiance is modern and clean. They also have a nice outdoor patio. Found for five coffee Roasters in GC. Tried it. Cute up decor. I got a 24 hr Oatmeal. Loaded with fruit and crunch. Server directed me to fridge. I asked for a warm one an she had kitchen crew make me one. Talk about stick to your ribs. (See pix) you can turn it upside down and it stays in the bowl. Peach French toast was said to be good with a few added canned peaches. Was made fresh and took a bit of time to cook and set up for take out. Vanilla l latte was cold with ice but needed more sugar. I do suggest getting a cardboard cup holder if taking out. Inside has a bathroom with a few nic nacs of decor. Many signs and a few QRs. Music on Spotify didn't work for me though server was able to open it on hers. Outside area is open with small tables and chairs.
