Stopped for coffee after work. Luckily they weren't really busy yet so we were able to get a table quickly. The decor is really nice. Pays homage to Yemen roots. The store gets great lighting, with views of the mall across the street. They have convenience outlets by the window seats. Great for charging your laptops. The coffee is flavorful without being over powering. Brewed just right. We tried the Caramel Iced Latte and Matcha Latte. There wasn't a lot of interaction with the staff besides ordering but the guys were cool. Good coffee, cool setting and nice staff.

Very cute cafe serving Yemeni coffee with friendly and welcoming service. We ordered Sana'ani and Mafawar which were both medium roast and an iced Yemeni latte. Their coffee was not as strong as what I'm used to and somehow tasted like chai (I guess because of the spices). They are not coffee was super hot and they put a sign up to warn us. But it was so hot that I could barely hold it in my hand. Maybe they could use a thicker cup sleeve? By the way if you dine in and order drinks, the drinks would actually come in a pot with a few glasses on the metal tray. So cute. Service was good. The staff was busy but was patient with the order. Cute decor. Felt very cozy there. There were quite a few large groups and some students studying. Got a few parking stalls at the back.

This place is awesome for a hangout with your friends or if you'd like to get some work done! It can get a bit noisy but nothing some headphones can't block out! The iced coffee we got was fantastic and very flavorful! Last time I got their chai which came in a teapot and cups which was very nice! The coffee was just as good and the service was great as well! Fast and easy! I wouldn't recommend the cheesecake though, wasn't great but everything else was!!

I have been wanting to try Yemeni coffee since reading Monk of Mokha, so I'm glad to have finally made it! I told the person working the register that I wanted to try something traditional, so he suggested the Mofawar. It takes between 5-10 min to make, so settle in! He also requested a treat, so he suggested the Khaliat Alnahl. Very tasty! The place was full of people studying, socializing, or otherwise have a relaxing experience. The coffee was good, but I would recommend having at least 30 minutes to sit and enjoy a pot. Also, I asked for sugar on the side, which I would not recommend. I should have had it prepared with the sugar. Anyway, can't wait to try this shop or another! And lots of other tasty looking treats.

This is the same coffee house as the one that I patronized recently in Greenwich Village, and I am just as impressed with my experience here in Westbury. I ordered the same drink, just to test consistency: a custom signature Iced Yemeni Coffee--add two tablespoons of Pistachio Powder, and it was, like the one in the Village, the best coffee drink that I have ever had in NY. It was lightly sweet and robust. The service made my drink unforgettable because they gave me individualized attention, even though the place was packed on a Friday evening. There are plenty of outlets to charge your cell phone. The tables and floors are relatively clean inside despite the huge traffic, and there is a free parking lot behind the building.

Always stellar service and an enjoyable experience with delectable options. My go to - Moroccan mint tea, triple chocolate cake and vegan chocolate cake.

Came here with one of my friends to grab a cup of coffee. The staff here are really friendly. The menu has a large variety to choose from. I only ordered a cup of coffee, however I do want to come back and try their pasties. Space is big enough to get some work done. I'll def be back

Kunafah cups and adeni coffee were good. I wish he Kunafah cups were warmer but they hit right. The place is spacious and has good seating. They could add a small couch to make it more comfortable and homey. I like the greenery hanging from the ceiling. Service was friendly.

Came here for a late night coffee and snack with my boyfriend and loved it. He got a coconut matcha and I got a white mocha latte and both were delicious. The tres leche cake we got was soft, moist and flavorful. A cute aesthetic, great service and an awesome menu. Everyone should check this place out!

My first time trying Qahwah house and I loveddd it. From the service to the ambiance to the food, it was a great experience, It was very lively even at 10 pm and it was spacious. The server was kind and made sure every person on line to order got a place to sit to dine in. The honeycomb which seems to be the most popular item, was really tasty. It tastes similarly to a bagel and cream cheese. The pistachio cake reminded me of tres leches--sweet and moist. I would eat the honey on again for breakfast!

Very large space, I think the largest coffee/ tea place on Long Island! Nicely designed . Nice selection of coffees , teas, matches and desserts. Small parking lot in back and street parking. Had an espresso pistachio latte which was delicious!

I just LOVE this coffee shop I've seen Qahwah House in Anaheim, California before but never got the chance to try it, and I'm always driving past this location so I finally had to stop in!Right away, the employees were so kind and welcoming. I loved the energy in here from the moment you walk in you smell the aroma you see the Yemeni culture I love it ! I asked for recommendations on their best iced and hot drinks and went with one of their suggestions the pistachio latte and THAT is how you do a pistachio latte ‍ it was so good! They also have so many desserts that I definitely need to come back and try. I ended up getting the truffle chocolate cake and it did not disappoint The space is very spacious with plenty of seating, plus free parking in the back which is always a win! I think this might've just become my new favorite coffee shop. I love a place with great vibes and friendly people

Decided to stop by Qahwah House after searching for a calm place on Long Island to sit on my laptop and study. It's exactly what I wanted. Ample amount of space and seating, wall outlets pretty much everywhere and it's not too loud. You can find other people working on their laptops, reading and just hanging out with their friends here. They have many pastry options to choose from and two breakfast wraps. I ordered a Brown Sugar Latte and a Spinach Feta wrap. I was a bit hungry so I didn't realize how long it would take for the premade wrap to heat up. I waited about 10 minutes after ordering and when my wrap was ready it was good, simple just a tad bit cool towards the middle of the first half. I did come in at 2pm so I assume the breakfast rush was over and they had it refridgerated for the next day. I didn't mind because the staff was kind and attentive to my needs. I was really pleased with my latte. It's rich, creamy and flavorful. They dust cinnamon on the top which adds a nice touch to it. Overall I will be coming here again. I look forward to visiting with my friends and trying out a pot of tea with them. I enjoyed the space and can recommend it to anyone who just needs a workspace to hang out, study and work while enjoying a great cup of tea or Arabic coffee.

Awesome chai and great coffee options. Served super hot. Love that it's open late too. The lighting is too intense, feels like a cafeteria.

I've been seeing a lot of videos on Instagram so I definitely wanted to try it for myself. A location in Albertson, NY is opening soon. There are some March exclusives available only this month. I stopped by on a Sunday around 2:00pm. There are two drive-through lanes and there were cars in both. The menu consists of iced tea/lemonade, coffee, specialty lattes, dirty sodas, and water. I pulled up to the drive-through window and ordered the Lucky Charmed Latte with the staff member. My husband ordered a hazelnut mocha iced latte. The drinks didn't take long to be prepared and were very yummy. I really liked the addition of Lucky Charms marshmallows and whipped cream on top of the latte. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but the latte had a good ratio of espresso and milk and it was very good. I definitely want to be back to The Barn in Merrick to try other drinks!

I've only been to the barn a couple of times & was expecting the drink to be less than $10. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because the iced latte came out to $13 for an average sized drink with a small Pignoli cookie on top. The drink tasted good, but not where I would say it was worth the price they charged for it. Other than that the owner was friendly as usual as was the young lady who took my order.

Visit Date: January 20, 2026…read more I got the LI cafe passport book from my co-worker for Christmas. In January I got to go to two coffee shops in this book, for five was the second one. I went with one of my friends. We both had the mochas and I had a shot of espresso because the book recommended it. The espresso was good, not overly bitter, pretty much just right. The mocha was amazing a good ratio of chocolate, coffee and espresso. It was pretty busy here and the atmosphere was nice. The snacks looked really good maybe one day I'll go back for a pastry. I give for five five stars and five beans and would recommend coming here if you like coffee shops.

The elitist attitude continued throughout the transaction; she couldn't be bothered to tell me which beans she was using, and once the coffee was finished, she didn't even acknowledge me or announce that the drink was ready. It's a shame when a shop's "gatekeeping" attitude ruins the experience. There is no excuse for treating customers with that much contempt. I won't be returning to a place that makes me feel like an inconvenience for ordering a coffee.
