Everytime I come here it's a smooth transition. And I find everything I need here. I usually come for my braiding hair here and with the exception of 1 time they had what I needed and at a better price. As long as they continue this way they have a lifetime customer. read more

This beauty supply store is always clean and well organized. The ladies are always very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable, too. The reason for 4 stars is because there has a been several occasions that I've gone that they don't have something I'm looking for. (Items I think are pretty standard. Ex. PCJ). But otherwise, they're great and I'll be back again. FYI: they also have a wig section for those interested in getting fitted for one. read more

I love this beauty supply store, I can't even drive by it without stopping. It's CLEAN and fully stocked. The girls in here are nice and helpful. I also love that they give me free stocking caps. It's small but I usually don't get this level of treatment at the beauty supply store! They have cute, good quality hoop earrings too that don't turn on you. I love discovering new stuff in here, I don't feel bothered or rushed. They also always have the cute hair bags and boxes for the wigs! Love, love, love!! Yass bitch yass!! For as much money I spend? This Beauty Supply still has the new store smell. It is large with a great product selection and an okay hair selection. It's more product heavy really. They employ some very eager to please young ladies who are more than willing to guide you to products and help you match your hair to extensions or try on a wig. They are well meaning but I think they are bored so they get REALLY happy when they see customers. The counter staff is asian and isn't all that friendly but then again they aren't rude so I guess it is what it is. The place is clean, large and well stocked. Bonus! -- It has a parking lot! I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to give this place a try. Shelley was so helpful helping me pick out a couple of wigs. They had so much to choose from. I did not shop the whole store, but from what I could see they had everything you could possibly need. Nails, eyelashes (the eyelash area was really large) , hair color, brushes . The was the Target of beauty supply stores. I would definitely shop here again. Side note: they had a wig for every budget. read more

So I walked into this Beauty Supply store and literally began smiling. It is a bit strange that a Beauty Supply store made me SO happy, but I'll explain... First off, For Your Beauty is HUGE. I knew I walked in there with a goal in mind to purchase some braiding hair, but I was completely distracted lol. One of the young ladies offered assistance as soon as I walked in, which gave them an A for customer service. Need a WIG? They got it! Need some weave? They got it! Need some X-Pression Kanekalon for your Senegalese Twist? They got it! How about some Eco Styler Gel to lay down those baby hairs? Yup they got it! Lip stick, nail polish, makeup, BELTS, Cute earrings....THEY GOT IT!!!!!! Please don't waste your time on any other beauty supply store. I was so close to ordering some X-Pression Kanekalon hair online, but decided to call this Beauty Supply Store to see if they had it. Yes $4.99 a PACK... I stood on a long line with other people of color to have one of the employees once I reached the front of the line inform me that no one was permitted to enter beyond the front door. Per the employee, the customer tells the employee what they want and the employee retrieves the item. They are adamant no customer is to move beyond the front door. This didn't sit well with me especially since I was not sure of the exact brand I wanted. They want black and brown people's money but they treat you as though you have the plague. Its beyond demeaning. Why open your store during Covid-19 pandemic if this is how you behave? I understand their reservations with not permitting the customers to touch anything, but that's the risk you take when you run a business. The supermarkets aren't stopping people from touching items before purchase. So what is the difference? I found another beauty supply store the following day and spent 50x( yes that is correct) the amount I spent on this store. For You Beauty is operating in a black neighborhood. This isn't China and you will not treat black people like second class citizens. You don't want us in your store, sell your products online. I will never patronize this store again. read more

I see everyone complaining about the young ladies being helpful. This is their job, you would probably complain if they didn't say anything to you but you can't make everyone happy. They certainly have a large selection and were very helpful with helping me find the right make up. read more

The girls that work there are awesome!!! Tipping them is not even a question in my mind! They are very helpful in picking products plus will help style your hair and more! They are also knowledgeable of the hair and supplies! I must say that I love dealing with them plus the store is great! The store has a discount card that is awesome. I get $10+ off my purchase as I accumulate points. They have products from jewelry, scarves, hats, gloves, nails, hair, makeup, natural products for the hair, face and body, and lingerie! So they had my hair and I didn't have to drive all the way to Jamaica avenue and pray the whole way for parking.. Not only did they have the rare hair I was looking for, but they had the color and ample packs for me to do my hair.. I was sooooo happy, the girls are helpful, and the store is packed with hard to find items!!! So excited they are so close and parking is not a nightmare, they saved me time and money! read more

First of all if you going to run a business your workers and especially the owner should know at LEAST basic English!! like come on!! people should be knowledgeable about the hair products too if you deciding to run a business for beauty supplies, KNOW the information about the products and explain to the customers about the products. this is my story i went to buy hair weft extensions and their employee came to help me and i asked her could i dye these extensions she said YES YOU COULD BUT its not recommended and i asked her bunch of times why its not recommended ? will it get ruined will it break what will happen? if its real hair it will be fine and i said i always have dyed my previous hair extensions if its real hair than its fine and she said yea you could dye it but its not recommended. and so i bought it for 120 and it was yaki 100% real human hair. they care more about not losing the sale. she didn't informed me that it was chemically processed because that was the only hair weft that was 24 inches which i wanted and i was about to not purchase it. ok so 2 days later i tried to dye it and the hair wont even come a shade lighter, it was pure black. So i went the next day to complain and the owner who does not even know how to speak English said "oh it is chemically processed" and i asked why didnt your worker warn me that it was chemically processed you guys ripped me off. they did not want to exchange it or refund it, knowing that it's their own fault. i had original receipt and the hair was a good condition too. They DO NOT EXPLAIN anything to me only giving me cheap answers. so DO NOT TRUST OR BUY FROM HERE i don't want to sound racist but never buying from asians ever again. they give bad customer service in this store. i repeat DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!!
