As soon as you walk in it's like a whole different world in here. There's so many adorable trinkets, pins, clothes and just so much stuff to look through! The prices were insanely good, I got a medieval-looking satchel there for only $30 which is unheard of. The level of detail on the items they sell is phenomenal. Plus all their pins and stickers are so cute! The store is nice and calm, I loved the vibe I got while I was in there. The employees were polite and mostly just worked on whatever projects they were doing while still greeting people and answering questions. Each vintage shop I run across has it's own specialties, with Forager being heavy into well curated women's clothes. As I'm not practically knowledgeable enough in Gayle's current tastes and size (danger danger Will Robinson!), I skipped all that and settled on a very nice fox-themed coin wallet. Lovely store with kind staff. I felt very welcomed and respected here. I got several very cute things! I thought the selection was amazing and prices reasonable for plus size vintage compared to what I often see in this area. They had up to size 24 items in stock and the selection was very stylish. Lots of cute dresses from different eras and work appropriate clothes too. From goth club vibes to community mental health worker, they had it all for me haha. Such a cute little shop! There are even cute little animals dressed up like something out of Beatrix Potter books hidden around the store. Great sticker collection, sewing notions, even a card catalog with little odds and ends in it. Forage Vintage also offers seamstress services both walk-in and by appointment. This is one of my favorite small businesses over Portland. I've found so many treasures here! High quality and durable, they really care about you, your time and your money. Also their website worked so great. I saw a purse on their instagram, had to have it for the Renaissance Faire, and was able to place an order for it and it was delivered only days later. They're super friendly, quick to respond to inquiries, I think the pricing is great, and they also gave me some adorable stickers. Thanks guys! read more

I love forager vintage! I visit quite often whenever I'm downtown. Their stuff is obviously a bit more expensive than goodwill, most shirts and jackets are $20-$35 dollars. But it's all great quality and they mend and clean it themselves! They carry a variety of vintage clothes ( mostly 90s), accessories, jewelry and trinkets, as well as products from local small vendors. There's always something new to check out and the atmosphere is super cozy. The owners are also lovely, It started raining today when I visited and they gave us an umbrella for free so we wouldn't get soaked highly recommend whenever you're downtown!! read more

Lovely shop! I was on a mission for specific pieces, which I didn't find this time, but I did find some great socks for my family. The sizing had a pretty good range, I saw XXS to XXL, but the stock is small so it may be limited to one or two pieces in a size for a category. The prices are super reasonable, from $6 for socks, and the highest price I found was about $50 for some purses. If you're in the area, I suggest popping in and checking it out, especially if you like vintage, cottagecore, or academic styles. I will say it is a bit hidden on a small side street, and parking isn't amazing, but if you can't find something in front, you should be something close. read more

Really adorable business that fits this area. Quirky, fun and unique items ranging from hair clips, stickers, card, Key Chain and jewelry to Vintage clothes, purses, accessories. Each item seems to be well thought out and fits the whole 'Oregon Woodsy Cute Items'. Location- 5, downtown Beaverton, but just a street over from main downtown. Parking- 3.5, there are a few spots available in front of business and around neighboring businesses, but no parking lot. Not a big deal, unless you stop by during peak hours. Customer Service: 5 always friendly and helpful Cleanliness: Seems really clean! Price: 4 on the high end, but it IS downtown Beaverton. Overall, it's a nice store to check out. When I think of my happy place, I now think of this particular thrift shop. The shop is warm and inviting. It's clean, has lots of space, and decorated prettily.. There's so much clothes to choose from and if you're on a budget like me, they do have a clearance section. I ended up getting a $6 dress that was so cute! The lady at the register was super nice and helpful. My husband said that he felt like this shop had literally everything I would wear. He told me this was the perfect place for me. read more

Sweet vintage shop with a folksy/boho/cottagecore vibe. It's evident that the store is thoughtfully curated, down to the price tags which contain wildflower seeds that you can plant. Very reasonable prices too as opposed to some vintage stores here. I managed to snag a $10 skirt from the sales rack plus an $8 beret. The owner also seems nice and I was greeted with a friendly hello when I walked in which I appreciate. Personally a pet peeve of mine is when I enter a store and get ignored by the employees the whole time, who couldn't care less if I'm there or not. Sadly as a person of color, i sometimes get insecure about that because I know what it's like to be discriminated in a public space and not feel welcome. Very sweet little store in downtown Old Beaverton! The staff member present was warm and welcoming as soon as I entered, and enthusiastic about their wares. I found a lot to linger over - not only do they stock vintage clothing (including a dedicated plus-size section), there are tons of cool little treasures. I picked up a pair of socks, some shower steamers, and iron-on patches. If I weren't strapped for cash at present, I probably would have walked out with much more. Forager is exactly the type of store Beaverton needed. It's so perfectly Portland with its cottage core attire and accessories, and a warmth about it that feels so lovely. The owner Hazzel is absolutely fantastic, so incredibly kind, and wants to reach out to customers individually. She really goes the extra mile, writing handwritten notes of thanks and stickers in her shipped items, she even remembered I was someone who interacted with her social media when I came into the store. They recently have been putting out a sales rack out front too! I've seen Hazzel (the owner) personally personally touch up textiles and items when needed. She's sewn garments and buttons on while working in the shop to restore and give extra life to them. In Forager Vintage you'll also be able to find the best Knick knacks, crystals, pins/patches, jewelry, inches and more! I highly recommend taking a peak inside you never know if you'll fall in love with a piece! I go pretty regularly and there's often new pieces added. I feel as though there is something for everyone here. My fiancé loves looking at the crystals. I have several pieces of clothing from here that I wear weekly. The clothes are so cute! I felt so comfortable when I stepped in-- it looks and smells amazing in there, and everything is clean and in neat displays.
