In fact, just today, as I'm planning a surprise snowboard trip for my sons, I've been calling all over to find some snow pants for my younger son. Although their winter gear had been put into storage, the cashier working today went up in the attic, found a snowsuit, and had it waiting for me.

This place is actually what it states in the name - a secondhand boutique. Most items are fairly affordable, all are in good condition, and each one has been thoughtfully chosen for its style and quality. The items tend toward a more classic and conservative style. The people who work here seem quite friendly. I didn't buy anything - but I would absolutely recommend it to someone looking for a boutique shopping experience rather than classic thrifting.

I'm giving them a 3 star review because they did offer refunds for each issue and apologies, and acknowledge we make mistakes, I am just bothered it's repeated and over the course of a couple of years. We haven't had issues with clothes or shoes but specifically with either toys missing entire pieces repeatedly or broken toys. First it was a build a bear wheelchair that was clearly taped together then broke same day we bought it. Then it was a pink baby stroller that had a gem over a missing screw so it never worked right. Then it was a wooden toy set that had broken pieces and then missing pieces. And recently we bought a train set that didn't even have the correct train pieces in it. They offered refunds for all and apologies so I do want to make that known, I feel as though if you know this is an issue, this shouldn't keep happening. My child gets her hopes up every time to then have to take it away from her. We were able to give away the train set and decided to not take the refund as my partner felt uncomfortable going back in. Saying you're human and we make mistakes is true, yet the issue needs to stop happening. Attacking people for leaving honest reviews isn't professional and I see a lot of that in the owners response. Yes it can be nice if they contact you first but it's not required. Your apologies doesn't negate the experience especially if it's a repeated experience. If you shop here, please make sure you count, check and quality check the toys you are getting. Luckily we live very very close and hasn't been a huge inconvenience but it could be for a family that's visiting out of town or doesn't live close. I do want to add something since the owner responded and I feel as though it should be said, if you're putting the blame on your staff consistently, then maybe the staff needs to change because these mistakes are costing customers and ultimately money for the business. After being told by her employee that my items were wonderful & they would accept them I received a RUDE HOSTILE text from this owner, Julie, "we accepted NONE of your items" . 98% were items with tags, brand new. Including J Crew current stylish summer tops, Loft summer tops, shoes including brand new black flat-ish Franco Sarto, Burberry ($695. Retail) flats, She also referred very negatively to her employee stating she had no right to tell me what they accept. I was referred to this store by an employee at Consign Couture in the village -- a MUCH higher end consignment store with far more hospitable staff where I have had reasonably good experiences. I have now tried 3x to pick up all of my "rejects" and the shop is never open. I am in Salem assisting my 89 & 90 year old parents so it's not a simple task to drive 45 miles & be met with a closed shop !!! My next call is to the local police to escort me to pick up MY belongings!! Horrible store with few items ! Seems they have a very "hippie- ish " clientele.
