The person "who did battery replacements" only came in after 7:30 pm and worked overnight. Guess what, this phantom battery guy never showed up and and my watch was never repaired. Just go somewhere with regular hours (Peacock opens when it suits them, as late as after noon some days) and will close early when the employees have somewhere else to go. My opinion is this not a legit jewelry store but a front for some other questionable operation. Just do not go there!

Last summer, July 2021 was the first time I came to this Kay. I needed two rings soldered together…read moreso I shipped them off and was told a two week turn around. Two weeks comes and no one communicates with me. I check the tracking number and it says my rings are still at repair but I call the store anyway. One of my rings had been returned a week prior and I was never notified. I went to pick it up and asked about my second ring and it was as if it had gone missing. Long story short, I didn't get that second ring back for almost another two weeks and I had to go in store multiple times to follow up because they did not answer their phone. Well fast forward to March 2023, I was going to give the shop one more chance. I needed a repair on one of my rings so I kept the other at home and brought it in. I was told it will be available 4/3 for pick up. Called 4/3, my tracking showed my ring was in transit back to shop and nothing from the shop. I called over a dozen times from two cell phones and no answer over a three day period. Finally I walked into store 4/5 and they told me my ring had been delivered but they couldn't give it to me. I said I was not leaving until I got that ring. To top it off, while there I spoke with another angry customer who was getting married in two months, had an email verifying her rings had arrived and the shop tried to tell her they didn't have them. She told me her experience was similar to mine and funny enough when she stood up for herself the man walked into the back and found an unmarked box with her rings. Will make the extra drive next time to Murfreesboro or Hendersonville. I recommend all interested customers to do the same.

I don't really have a lot to say about their product. I've worked with Hancock many times…read morethroughout a number of years on all kinds of items and things just never were quite like I wanted them. However, based upon that, I would have given them three stars or maybe even four stars. What steals all the stars but one is their attitude toward customer service. They treat you so badly. They make you feel like you are intruding on their space and interrupting their day. I've spent more than $10,000 on one item alone and thousands on several others, so I know I'm not their greatest-paying customer, but I'm also not the least. Regardless, I expect to be traded with respect, kindness and friendliness. That's the key right there. There is no friendliness. Nobody smiles when you walk in and nobody makes you feel like they're glad to see you. They just lose so many stars due to their poor interpersonal skills. I went back to them because I thought that is where my spouse wanted to go. However, I discussed my displeasure with my spouse one day after what I thought was a particularly bad experience there, and I was shocked to learn my spouse did not care for those people, either. I was so shocked because after 45 years of marriage, that was literally the first time I had ever heard my spouse not like a person. Never once had I heard them say, "Yeah, I don't really like those people," which was my spouse's exact words. I will never forget them because, again, it was literally the first time I'd ever heard them say anything negative about any person or business and I have never heard them them say any negative thing about anyone else since. My spouse likes everyone. It was a relief for me. We enjoy investing in jewelry for both of us and we have found another jeweler who is absolutely wonderful. He even calls us when he gets something in he thinks we might like. He is usually correct because he has taken the time to get to know us and know our taste. All of the employees at our new jewelers are always smiling and someone always greets you kindly when you walk in the door. Before you ever reach the counter, you have been greeted with enthusiasm. That has been happening ever since the first time we walked in the door and I have seen them do that to other customers every time I'm in the store. It made us realize how much enjoyment we had been missing by shopping at Hancock Jewelers. I don't wish any ill will upon Hancock Jewelers. I can speak only from our experience multiple times over the years. I probably wouldn't have taken the time to come here and give this review, except I see their commercials and they just don't sit well with me knowing how my spouse and I were treated. One last important note: I do not think my spouse and I were singled out. While we waited for service, I noticed they treated others the same way. It's just not a happy place.
