I purchased a new Delta kitchen faucet and asked my hubby to replace it, but he felt it needed an expert. I called a few plumbers, several turned me down because I didn't buy the faucet from them (ugh) but these folks came to my rescue. Larry (I hope I have the name correct) showed up, and he was accompanied by an assistant, and they had the old faucet out and the new one in in less than 30 minutes. So fast, and great work. We had Forbes plumbing come out 3-3-2021 they charge me $120 to look at my well and do a diagnostic on what was wrong with that. Conclusion after 30 minutes I was told that everything had to be replaced the electrical the pump everything he sent me an estimate for $5179. I called Richie Boone out 15 minutes he found the problem and it was a little park that is $15 I have my water I have everything. I called back requesting my money back the person on the phone said she was dispatch only and she kept talking over me so I called back later same person answered the phone and kept asking me questions on exactly why do I want my money back yada yada well if she's dispatch and she didn't want to know what the problem was when I called the first time in the daytime why is she asking me now talking over me talking loud wouldn't shut up I could not get a breath and if I wanted to finally I was screaming at her to be quiet so I could talk I ended up hanging up on her I will not use this company they would've gotten me for a lot of money unnecessarily! read more

We hired Forbes Plumbing to do a sewer scope inspection. Mike came out, he was friendly, knowledgeable and explained things to us. He even checked our toilets and looked under our dishwasher. We definitely recommend this company and keep in our contracts. read more

We had a major leak in our upstairs tub, it resulted in our floor being flooded and then flooding the downstairs room. We had contractors working on drying and cleanup. Another plumbing company came in with a very high estimate for the tub repair. While the cleanup crew was ripping out the floor, they caused the water to start leaking again. They called Forbes and Charles came out right away. He was able to take a quick look and discover that nothing needed replacing. He just tightened a loose pipe and solved the whole thing. He came back the next day to show me what had happened! He also showed me what to do to fix our other bathroom faucet. The other plumbing company was going to pull out our whole tub. He ended up saving us over $2600! Plus, he was just so friendly and knew exactly what was going on. read more

Where to begin with how much I loved working with these people? The septic system in my house backed up in to my bedroom producing the worst imaginable situation for my family. Forbes came out within hours of me calling them and from the beginning was unbelievably sympathetic and compassionate to my circumstance. They quickly identified that the line from my house to my septic had completely sank and needed to be dug up and replaced and laid out a plan to have everything dug up, replaced, and the hole filled back in with the necessary rock to ensure this never happens again. We had no water at all except what was pouring down the street from a break on our side of the meter. On 9-5-19, I spoke with Mike who set me up with an appointment for an estimate the next day, Friday, between 2 and 4 with Kevin, for a new kitchen sink and disposal. On Friday I was home waiting, and Kevin did not show, and at 4:26 I called and left a voice mail with Mike. Two weeks have passed and I did not receive a call back even. When first dealing with owner Kevin Jolley, he quoted me a scope of sewer pipe and cleanout for $300. I paid Kevin $240 cash and $60 dollars in check. He forgot his receipt book, so I did not get a receipt at that time. After visit he said he needed to have his professional Joe come out to finish the job. Cost another 250 dollars when joe came out, he worked for about an hour and a half, then said his camera broke. He came out again a few days later, cost another $200 cash for him to work 2 more hours, he got 33 feet of the 36 feet needed, said it would cost more for him to work longer, then said we would get a link to our scope of the line from the company so we could view it. It is one month later, sewer line is backing up again, even with us dumping chemicals down three times to clean out tree roots in line. Called the company today, was handed off to Shannon who in turned had Joe call me back. Joe stated it would cost me an additional $30 for the link to the scope, and if I wanted him or someone from his company to come back out I would need to pay more monies. Long story short, at this time, I do not recommend this company. read more

This company checks all the boxes - they have humans answer their phone, they give a 2-hour window for the service call, they call if there's a cancellation and they can arrive sooner than expected. And when they arrive, they get right down to business, do the work well and don't try to sell you something you don't need. Used them once before with no problems, but wow were we disappointed this last time. First there was a lot of confusion about when someone could come, help with a flooded basement. I would think this is an emergency, but we had to wait 2 days to get them to come out. So sorry we waited!!! Should have called someone else. Mike showed up late and was rude the moment he entered our building! All he could do was complain about all the work he had to do, as though he was doing us a favor by even showing up. He looked in the basement and was supposed to call me with his findings. He instead left the premises without seemingly doing any work, although he left us a bill for approximately $300. The next day he called and he continued to be condescending and treated us as if we couldn't possibly understand what he was explaining. When I called him out on his bad attitude he became furious and hung up on me. When I called to complain to the office, they seemed to excuse his ill-mannered behavior, saying he was an "excellent plumber" ! As if his horrible attitude was compensated by his skills! We waited to hear back and had previously scheduled another job at one of our other businesses. We were waiting for someone to arrive, when we called to inquire about the basement job, we were told that they would not do any more work until we paid the $300! We were shocked and told them to expletive themselves! Not only did they waste our time earlier in the week but now we had cleared our schedule for other work that would not be taking place! Moved to Rickreall, OR in 2015. I needed some plumbing done in our new home. I called a couple of plumbers listed for Dallas, OR. They did not get back to me. Then I called Forbes Plumbing. Wow Immediate Service! I have used Forbes several times since my first call. They have proved to be very reliable, friendly, prompt, and professional. I give them a five star review. March 9, 2017 I had the pleasure of having Jeff and David come out. I called Forbes at 8:00 AM and Jeff and David showed up at 11:00 am. I call that excellent service. They took care of my drain problem and did not even charge me. I have continued to have excellent service from Forbes everytime I call!! read more

We needed a new toilet installed and were told they would be there at 8a. They called at 8:15 to say they were leaving and arrived at almost 8:30. They were done by 9:20 and charged us for an hour and a half even though they were there less than an hour. Called back and was told that it includes drive time....which is 1.4 miles from their shop to our front door. Also, when my wife and I went to look at the work that they had done, we noticed a big mess where he had removed the old toilet and set it. The area was soaked and old pee water was left in a pan sitting on the floor. Called to talk with them and was told that there is nothing they can do. They just go by the time that the plumber checks in and out on their phone. Makes me wonder how many of their other customers were overcharged for time. Luckily, we had time stamps where the plumber had called to say he was leaving and my wife texted me right when he pulled up. If we hadn't had those time stamps, they would have stood behind their guy. Very dissapointed as when I called them, they wanted to argue and try to use the drive time excuse. I had heard nothing but good...I guess I was the 'lucky' one. read more
