This is a super popular gas station among the locals here. It has a very large parking area which makes an ' O ' shape around the actual store. The reasons this place is bumping IMHO are as follows: It has cheap gas. Probably cheapest in the area. It's on prime real estate. It's the last spot before the Q bridge, which is a popular bridge. The patrons here range from upperclass to lower class working men. So if you are looking for work, and you are down and out, you can wait in the parking lot for workers that may need a handyman for the day. Now that I think of it, they should put a message board up here with like craigs list in mind. So guys looking for help can find it, and guys looking to help out and work can find that as well. read more

It's gas and its cheap; often the cheapest around. Now I can't figure out how to determine gas 'quality'. How can you measure that? But I'm pretty sure you can't water down gas without causing big problems to the engine. So, to a previous reviewer, if you're having trouble in the winter, check your battery :) My car runs fine on their 89 and gets the same mileage; only now I spend less. I'm good with that. read more

This gas station was a pleasant surprise off the I-95 South. Prices for gas were amazing. 2.59 for regular, 2.79 for premium. Clean bathroom, friendly register guys. I will definitely make this a go to gas station along the interstate. Highly recommended.. read more

Recently visited Forbes Ave , both times almost in altercation. MOST ghetto gas station ever. Letter carrier on way home from work, sold 1/2 gallon milk dated 7/9 that was bad. Clerks appear as though they are actively under influence of some kind of drugs. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Cheapest gas in town, though I have noticed a slightly rougher idle when this is what's in my tank. I don't really care about that though. However their home heating oil service is amazing. Also the cheapest, 7 day operation and delivery, same day delivery (however I do live in east haven), and they will prime the furnace with no extra charge. The girl who answers the phone, I think her name is Shelby, is really nice sounding and polite. The delivery guy I've met is equally polite and professional. I don't expect much in general for service in their industry but they have raised my expectations for others. I wish them lots of success...
