I thought I was going to need a brand new transmission that would cost half the value of my car, which gave me overwhelming anxiety. However, when I decided to pick up the phone, I greeted by their wonderful front desk staff, who offered me an appointment the next day. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted warmly and given reassurance that my vehicle was in good hands. They were even able to diagnose my car noises on the same day I brought it in! When I was called with the results of their diagnostic testing, I was given a sigh of relief as the noises were coming from the wheel bearing as opposed to an internal noise from the transmission. They also recommended doing a transmission tune-up which I gladly accepted as it had been more than 70,000 miles since my last one. Even though all they did was a transmission fluid exchange, my car runs just like new, without any slipping of the transmission! If this was a random transmission shop, they would have easily tried to sell me a brand new unnecessary transmission for thousands of dollars I didn't have while keeping the actual source of the noise hidden from me. I took my car to a different mechanic because I was seeing fluid in the snow wear it was parked. A…read morechain known for tire. They had worked on my car before, and I hadn't had any issues. They replaced the Rack and Pin. Assbly. along with two power steering hose. They also made a recommendation that a gasket and oil pan needed to be replaced. I drove it 8 miles and when I pulled into the Driveway smoke was coming out of the hood. About a 1.5 years ago I had a problem with the drivers seat not latching and staying upright. Tech Auto was recommended and Todd had it looked at and fixed it and didn't charge me anything. So when I had this problem with the smoke I had the car towed in. Todd told me the two power steering hoses were installed incorrectly and fixed that along with replacing all the power steering fluid. He also replaced an oil pressure switch which was wear the oil was coming from not a gasket or the oil pan. The radiator cap was missing and they found it down in the engine and replaced the coolant which was wear the smoke was coming from. I will never take my car anywhere else but to Tech Auto. Todd was HONEST, EFFICENT, AND HIS PRICES were very fair.
