If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my car in because the air conditioning wasn't working. They put free-on in it and told me it was good to go. The next couple of days it went out and they told me I had a leak and needed a new compressor I paid $495 plus $180 for the free-on. A few days later my car is driving weird I took it into a different shop and they showed me that instead of a new compressor I had a new condenser and it was the wrong size which ruined my transmission lining causing my transmission fluid to leak. read more

Don't use them that tried to say that they replaced a wire harness on my truck they didn't, spark plugs didn't, Brock the locks on the injectors so thay would not stay on come loose would not recommend this shop poor poor service read more

Hard to believe this place has 5 stars. My daughter took her car there to be diagnosed. They found some issues and even mentioned the engine was good FIRST DAY. But insisted second day the car needed more work then what was discussed and insisted on trading her car in for one of there's!! When she decided to take it somewhere else for a second opinion. The car is now not driveable. And the engine that was fine when brought in is needing to be replaced. And they have a 5 star rating. Well not no more! And I will continue to write reviews on updates because they seen a young lady/ single mother come in a take full advantage of her! And now she is completely without a car because they did something to it. read more

Currently battling them and Mike right now...going on for almost 2 weeks... took the truck in for lifters, catalytic converter, muffler, head gaskets, and head issues...I bought my parts, gaskets, and fluids. While being repaired I got told that both heads and camshaft were good, now all of a sudden I needed 2 injectors, and the new lifters I purchased were bad..he had to supposedly switch some stuff from the other side to make it work. Now I need a camshaft because the valves weren't moving then mysteriously now the camshaft is good after I showed him a video of them moving before he installed anything so he gave me back 7 out of the 32 lifters (16 new/16 old) that look like the ones that were already in there...so after going back and forth again and waiting up there, Mike says everything is good to go it wasn't...I didn't even have it home for a couple of hours. It cut off 3 times, surging, hard starting, stalling, ticking, and now a cylinder 5 misfire (the head that was supposedly good but never touched). Never had this problem before they worked on it. I took the truck back, and now he's trying to blame it on my parts because they are aftermarket or saying it is something else like a fuel-related problem (injector, fuel pump) keep in mind that the driver-side head didn't get removed...upon observing the engine the driver's side head was never removed and my parts weren't installed but he said he did. The bolts were still rusted and the original. I bought new manifold bolts that were installed on the passenger side but not the drivers along with gaskets etc. So now the parts I purchased weren't installed and I do not have them and he's coming up with an excuse and now I have to find out what they did with them since they weren't installed...so for $2300 that's paid in full my truck is there still and now we are going back and forth. He charged me for fluids, diagnostics, mufflers, catalytic converter, and installation of lifters and gaskets for both sides and only did the passenger side. I should have followed my first mind, and went somewhere else..this shop can't be trusted and the bad reviews are real...Thursday makes 2 weeks and Mike supposedly had a family emergency and won't be back for a couple of days... I've emailed the Mayor of Westland, will contact the BBB and the State of Michigan, and will more than likely have to go to small claims court the way it's looking. read more

I took my car in because it was having problems with acceleration. They told me that it needed a transmission. I agreed to have them do the work. Then they told me that the #5 cylinder wasn't firing, and it needed a motor. I was shocked but I figured they knew what they were doing. So I agreed to have them put a motor in also. They continued to say that the #5 cylinder wasn't firing, even after replacing the motor and transmission. They kept saying that "We have to go deep." I had enough, I took my car to a dealership. They pointed out where Ford and Wayne Auto Care had replaced an oxygen sensor and left the old one hanging underneath my car. There were vacuum hoses that were not attached, wires that were not connected, and parts that were being held on with zip ties. Unfortunately, the dealership was very busy and they could not take care of these issues. I had contacted BBB and they suggested that I take it back to Ford and Wayne Auto Care because they are obligated to fix the issues because it was under warranty. I reluctantly took my car back to them. They replaced another oxygen sensor and now my car is back on the road. It is not 100% by a long shot. I feel that it was probably the oxygen sensor the whole time, not the motor or transmission, and they charged me $5,080 for a whole lot of work that didn't need to be done. And on top of that, they broke something in the front end of my car so now when I make a sharp left turn there is a horrible grinding and clunking noise. I was recommended by a family member that goes there all of the time. My fuel tank was rusting out and leaking and I needed new shocks. They needed my car over night and charged me over $900. Now I have a P0453 error indicating the fuel pressure gauge problem. Now I need to shell out another couple hundred to have that fixed when it wasn't a problem before taking it in. On top of that Michael said that I have I "serious coolant leak" but there's never any coolant in the ground and my reservoir was fine when I had the oil changed a month prior and it's fine now. So if I had a "serious coolant leak" then where is it coming from, going and how do I still have coolant in my reservoir? Car has never overheated and I never need to top off my coolant levels so I have no idea what he was talking about. They couldn't give specifics because they said to find out where the leak was coming from it would require a 5 to 6 hour job. Nope! Never going to happen. My garage floor is dry and my car engine is running cool. I'll be going elsewhere for a second opinion when I take it to get the pressure sensor fixed (that they broke.) read more

This place is the worst auto shop you can do business with! I had an engine exchanged in my car they had my car over 2 wks without giving any updates. After finally finishing the job it was 1 day before I got a check engine light, I took the car back 4 times where the kept it a total of 5 days. They wanted me to pay for warranty items and when that didn't work said that I needed to replace my radiator which I wouldn't allow, I had to call the police to get my vehicle back! I took my car to an honest repair shop where they fixed all issues (warrantied) the same day... They're dishonest and incompetent, I'll be contacting a lawyer! BTW my original radiator is working fine and my bought and paid for warranty is worthless!!! read more

RIP OFFS. NEVER GO HERE!! Had car 5 days, picked it up and it broke down on the way home. Went rt back and they had it another 5 days. Charged $465.00. Car reeked like grease and was filthy on the floor, steering wheel, and door. I stopped payment with Visa. Had to have my car checked at another shop to prove I had been ripped off. That cost me $30.00. Faxed that to Visa and thank goodness my card was credited $300.00. I did pay $165.00 for the little he did fix. NEVER AGAIN. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I told owner you CAN'T rip ppl off like this. I said you picked the wrong girl to mess with. Please pass this along and save yourselves a replication of horrible service. read more

Went in for 2 used tires. Got them installed in a timely manner, went to get my son for guitar practice and my car shook ALL over the freeway. When I went back, the owner told me he sells tires but doesn't balance them. After I questioned this, and asked for my money back, he threatened to "beat my a$$, and tell the police I was stealing tools from him as well as come to my job and get me fired (I work at an accessories place and had my work uniform on when I came in for the tires . As I pull out of the parking lot, he tells me through my window, I know where your alarm is (insinuating he would do something to my car) That's very professional... read more
