The smart use of technology meant that there where no new wires or holes in our walls. Not only did we get some great new technology, but also saved money over a more traditional installation. Very disappointed with the performance of the system package that cost me over $10,000 (I purchased…read moretheir premium/top level speaker package and a number of other items they recommended). Before the installation, I shared my concerns below with the sales person/installer: 1. The size of the inwall speakers the recommended would not likely reproduce the full range of sound desired (especially midrange frequencies) 2. The soundstage produced by the front three speakers needed to anchor vocals to the faces onscreen - not localized to a speaker (especially not to the center channel located below screen). 3. I wanted clean but very strong bass performance that you could feel but not localize to a point in the room. After the installation I received a full demo and sure enough - they failed on all three points. - There is minimal midrange reproduction - The voices are localized on the center channel speaker (despite adjustments) - The powered subwoofer cost over $1,000, but lacks any real impact and it is easy to place where it is in the room I spent time afterwards with the installer sharing my concerns and asking for adjustments to be made. He made some efforts, but the equipment and configuration still produces very, very thin sound reproduction. There is no full range of deep rich sound in action movies (vehicle engines, explosions, etc.). Music on soundtracks sounds like it is playing out of a hand held radio. I told him I was not satisfied and not happy. All he could offer was to sell me additional speakers (left and right tower cabinet speakers and a second subwoofer), and he would give me credit back for two of the in wall speaker The amp is likely not adequate - should have gone with something higher current (Denon, Marantz or similar?). I trusted my money with their expertise/recommendations, and really feel like I failed to pick the right Home Theater company to accomplish a simple HT set up. The room is a dedicated HT room, only 14'x21' with 10' ceilings. I should have done more research. Lastly - on a personal note, I believe how an installer approaches "wire management" (see photos - no methodology) is an indicator of their attention to detail what standard they set for themselves. There is also a photo of their teeny tiny "premium" in wall speaker.

They did a beautiful job! Johann answered all my questions from start to finish, explained things in a way that made sense to a non-tech person, and never made me feel stupid for all my questions. I had purchased the wrong equipment, wired my house wrong, and installed a versa box which left a hole in my fireplace (all because Tollbrothers had rushed me through the process or frankly gave me the wrong info to start). Johann never acted frustrated that he was dealing with a less than ideal situation. He never showed frustration with the situation, but simply offered me astute work-arounds and solutions. It's obvious that he takes pride in his work and his craft. You can tell he truly enjoys finding solutions and making customers happy. Each of the four members that showed up for the install were not only knowledgeable, but they were also kind and respectful. I had quoted 6 different companies in DFW, but these guys were both the most affordable and most knowledgeable. In the quoting process, Erasmo created 4-5 revisions to fit my budgetary needs and accomplish what I wanted. Their programmer care after the install was done and spent a day with me programming everything I wanted. For example, when we get home at night and click the gate button in our car, we now have all the back porch lights and indoor mud room lights turn on to improve safety and comfort. Our blinds are programmed through Control4 as well now and will adjust automatically through the day and evening. We also integrated Alexa so we can do voice commands through the home. Many groups out there cut corners and go cheap and you end up with an unreliable system with intermittent problems or worse. I am a pain in the ass type of customer being an electrical and software engineer myself. I am also a certified Control4 developer, so when I say these guys are good I know what I am talking about.

I received inconsistent responses until September 4, 2024, when I had to repeatedly call and text. Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.
