Lots of fun! I have never played shuffleboard before so when my company had our group Christmas party here I was very excited to try something new. Before going to the venue I went to their website. They have a great visual of the rules and how to play shuffleboard. Really all the heads up we needed to get started. The venue does have a small parking lot behind the business but it was filled. There is street parking that is easily accessible. The place has a long bar and the drinks were great. Great menu of fun cocktails to choose from. They have small and large tables for your group. There are 5 shuffleboard courts to play on. Since we had an afternoon event we had the place to ourselves which was awesome. We had a buffet with slider sandwiches, salad, charcuterie tray, and cookies. The staff was great in keeping our drinks filled and cleaning up after us. Shuffleboard itself was a lot of fun to play. Just a couple quick notes - thank you for allowing us to move inside when it was wicked hot out. However, with so few actual customers playing either game - it's odd you were specific about moving us on the tabletop from #1 to #2, and then no one even showed up as well. Why make us relocate when we had already set up home base with 7 people 1 child and food/drink? And what's the difference between 1 and 2 anyway? Nothing, and no one would know. Then no one shows... If you are a beer drinker, they have many different beers to choose from so you are bound to find something you like. I ordered the Herniated Disk. It's was very good and packed full of flavor. The bread was very light and all the flavors of the green fried tomato, avocado, and slaw paired very well with one another. The sandwich which a little messy but not the end of the world. The tatter tots for the side were extremely salty and I couldn't finish them. We ordered the corn dogs which were good, nothing extraordinary. We also ordered Shuffles Puffs but was served, the Kerfuffle Shuffle. It was busy so wasn't worth asking for them to switch. It was good but had a lot of avocado so if you're a fan of avocado I recommend getting it. In my opinion it didn't pair well with tater tots. read more

Came here as our Stop #3 during CLE Burger Week, and it was a great place end our week-long run! Given the Covid-19 life we are currently leading, we felt very safe and comfortable on their outdoor patio picnic table style seating. Beers were flowing (especially the $2 cream ale...what not help them finish off that keg?!?!?) as we ordered both our burgers as well as an "upgraded" order of tots. Everything we ate was top notch! The shuffle puff tots were some of the best loaded tots I've ever had, perfectly crispy and topped with a white cheese sauce, crumbled bacon, green onions and served with a house-made ranch dressing for dipping..it easily serves 2-3 people. The Mighty Puck burgers were served smashburger style with two thinly grilled meat patties, gooey white American cheese, special sauce, pickle slices and shredded lettuce all served atop a perfectly grilled bun. It gets packed with college kids and older adults since shuffleboard is for the older crowd, younglings, and the drunk. There's multiple boards for people here inside and outside. It's a full bar so you can order whatever you want. Beer is the popular option with a lot on tap. Food wise, they're known for their tator tots which is perfect handheld bar bites and perfect when you're playing shuffle board and guzzling down a brew. My brother lives in Cleveland and him and his wife are part of a league here, so when in town visiting him for the Bills game he rented a court for 2 hours on Saturday. We had a group of 6 and the 2 hour timeframe worked out great. He mentioned that when he has come in the past with a group of 4 that a 1 hour time slot worked out nice. Everything you need is provided for you. They offered to have one of the workers help get us started and explain the rules etc, but my brother and his wife know the drill so they explained and helped instead. The waitresses come around though with menus and drinks and refills. They do have food, although on this occasion we just ordered drinks. The atmosphere is really cool, there is a "jumbotron" with info in the middle, photos of famous coaches real and fictional on the walls, stadium seats from some big known sports stadiums, cool sports quotes, tabletop shuffleboard also, and a nice large bar area and a variety of tables. What a great time we had for my husband's birthday party! It was a surprise gathering and I coordinated everything with Stacy, who was WONDERFUL to work with - responsive, answered all my questions. We were able to find street parking right across. Our friends had a great time playing shuffleboard (they have traditional and tabletop) and also had great food! They have a full bar with lots of draft choices and we ordered some sliders which were great. They also have a couple pinball/ arcade games. My parents have been trying to take us here when we're in town visiting for a while now, but it's really hard to get a reservation. Most recently, we were visiting for over 2 weeks and were able to get a reservation a couple of days before we left. Other than the lack of availability, this place is pretty cool. They have a bar area with a few table top shuffleboards. These are easier to get reservations on, but we weren't really interested since plenty of bars have them. Then in the back they have 5 or 6 shuffleboard courts. I now realize why it's so hard to get in -- they would be better off with way more courts. When we got there, we had to give them our credit card to hold at the bar and then wait 5-10 minutes after our reservation time to start. They don't start your hour until you start playing so that wasn't a big deal. They explain the rules to you and then you're free to play. We got in two games in an hour, but our first game took way longer than the second, so you might be able to do more. The one downside is that it's very loud in there. With the size of a shuffleboard court, you can only talk to the person next to you and even that was hard with the noise level. I would have given this five stars, but the experience paying at the end was awful. Instead of charging you up front or having a separate way to pay, they make you go to the bar to pay. The bar was packed and we waited at least 15 minutes to pay. I now understand why they take your card at the beginning because I'm sure people would just leave without paying rather than dealing with that. I'm sure they're trying to get you to drink while you're there, but this experience should really be improved so that you can leave in a timely manner when you're done playing. They charge $14 per person per hour, which isn't cheap, but I think it's reasonable compared to other similar activities. Overall, we had a lot of fun and I would recommend it! read more

The food here is fantastic, both the really super fresh and chunky chicken tenders AND all the sandwiches. We've pretty much been through the entire menu! You have to try the soft pretzels as well! Haven't played on the floor shuffleboard court, since that is for old people and people on cruise ships, but I LOVE table shuffleboard. I've played on tables all across the country, and the two gorgeous tables here are by far THE most perfect tables I've ever played on. It's obvious that the owners take their tables seriously, because they are always in ideal condition. The speed, the curve, etc. Always great. The staff is super friendly too! Note that they often have league nights on Wednesday and Thursday, so call ahead if you really want to be sure you'll have a table to play on when you get there. They had shuffle board table games inside and also floor shuffle board games inside and out. After you place your order at the counter you get a number to wait. The food took a long time to come out. My son and daughter-in-law have started playing in a shuffleboard League here. They rented a court here on Saturday afternoon for them, myself my brother and my daughter and her husband. We had a super great time here! I went with family over thanksgiving break on a Saturday and we had reserved a board ahead of time which is a must in order to guarantee you play. We had a group, the only thing that confused us was the billing process which is by every 2 hours I believe. The inside of the place was large and open with a bar and large seating area, there was an outdoor patio with shuffleboards also and 4 inside. We hadn't played much shuffleboard but it was easy to learn and fun to watch from a "bleacher" seating area. The establishment had back parking, a back and front exit and clean bathrooms (2 stall for women's). This location was great to hop to a few other bars after playing. The menu had good options and the inside was aesthetic around the bar but also sports themed. I'd love to see more shuffleboard bars open in NEO. Wow! This trendy shuffleboard spot is definitely not the retiree-haven that you might expect. I guess shuffleboard is in and billiards is out?... not quite sure but I have now been convinced that shuffleboard makes for a fun night out! Forest City Shuffleboard is a unique, open space with... you guessed it, shuffleboard courts and tables! The space laid out so that even if crowded, it wouldn't feel cramped. There is also a bar serving up a pretty good variety of craft beer on tap and bottled. The kitchen is separate and has a limited menu, but they have different pop-up concepts so I think it changes frequently. When I visited they had a simple menu of cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, fries, and fried pickles, all pretty cheaply priced. The food was pretty good but not spectacular. For the price, though, I have no complaints. As for the shuffleboards, they have about 4-5 indoor courts, 2 outdoor courts, and 2 tables. You can rent them by the hour and the price is per player. We paid about $2.50 per player per hour for the table, and I think the courts are $7.50 per player per hour. We had never played, but the bartender explained all the rules, and we had so much fun! read more

This is definitely a found treasure. My husband and I stopped in for Taco Week. Our server Patrick was amazing. We were able to try the Roasted Pork Taco, but sadly not the Buffalo Cauliflower Taco because they ran out. The tacos were so awesome that we took a container home. so flavorful. I called a week in advance for reservation for four on a Saturday afternoon and scheduled it for 90 minutes, this would be our first visit to the establishment and truly looked forward to the experience. Reservation was for 5:30 pm, we arrived a couple minutes prior to the reservation to check in and order drinks. We were told that the last party was running late and the lane should be ready in 15 minutes. We figured no problem and ordered some drinks. The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable about the craft beers and made a few great drinks for us as well. The establishment was clean and decorated to go along with the shuffleboard theme. We were called over at around 5:45pm to take the court for instruction. The instructor was fun and upbeat and really did a nice job explaining the game and terminology. After the instruction we started playing our first game at roughly 6pm, we had a lot of fun playing shuffleboard and got to share a few laughs. We ordered 2 plates of their loaded tater tots and they did not disappoint. Great presentation and the food hit the spot. We were in the middle of our 3rd game as we were told by the hostess that we had 15 minutes before our time was up. It was currently 6:45 pm at that time and honestly we thought we had another 30 minutes since the last group ran late. When I brought it up to the same hostess that checked us in she looked at the ledger and said we only reserved it till 7pm and their wasn't anything they could do whether the last group was late or not. So they have you pay upfront when you get there for the 90 minute reservation, so I asked since we only got the court for 75 minutes or really 60 minutes after instruction was there anything they could do, after a long stare and a confused look the answer was "no". All in all this is a great place to spend a date night with good food and a great selection of craft beer that is poorly managed. I have it two stars for that fact, I wish this wasn't the case but my group of 4 really felt it could have been handled differently. read more

I won Corporate Challenge undefeated here after playing several rounds over 2+ hours and had an amazing time. Maybe it is because I found one activity that required some type of physical ability that made me enjoy this so much, but I think it's a great bonding activity otherwise! There are food and drinks which I did not try, but helps make this environment very relaxed and a way to get to know people better with distractions and fun activities!
