The Rowley Inn never disappoints, the food is consistently good, they have a full bar and great service. They have some good local food like pierogis, kielbasa etc., awesome brunch choices, lots of vegetarian options and they have a vegan menu too. Great place to have a fun, laid back meal. Our server this last visit, Mario C was just great too, really on top of things and got everything 100% right. One of our favorite breakfast spots.

Don't go! I'm not sure why this place is as well rated as it is. Maybe people visiting the Christmas Story House are full of the holiday spirit. Parking was on the street and difficult to find. The CSH was closed otherwise it would be a nightmare. The best thing on the menu was the fried pretzel. Maybe order that as a meal. I had the steak fries with shrimp. Both steak and shrimp were so overcooked as to be inedible. The flavor of basil pesto was off putting. My friend said there meatloaf was spicy. It didn't look appealing on the plate either. Just a big brown slab of unidentified meat. Another friend said the pierogies were bland.

Awesome place with great food for cheap prices, very nice service, and a good atmosphere. The brunch menu has a ton of options that all sound very good for great prices. The mill workers breakfast was an awesome classic breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs, nice crispy bacon, good home fries, and toast. The coffee here is good too and goes perfectly with the mill workers breakfast. Super nice service and food was quick to come out, awesome place, definitely will be back.

Smoke house and Clevelander burger were delicious. Busy but with character. Garlic parm fried are good. We'd be back!

Another great neighborhood bar in Cleveland. Most tourists visit because it's next to the famous house from the movie A Christmas Story, but that didn't factor into my decision, nor did it interest me much. I was here for a cold beverage and some pierogies. The pierogies are very good and are served both traditionally and in several souped-up versions, including Buffalo, Poutine, and one topped with a burger patty. I ordered the Loaded version, served with kielbasa, bacon, and sauerkraut. If it weren't for the sauerkraut, I wouldn't have been able to eat much of it, not because it wasn't good, but because it was incredibly rich. I also ordered the bacon-wrapped tots, which were another delicious bar snack. They're about the size of four regular tater tots. The bacon and exterior are super crispy, while the inside differs from their smaller cousins by being creamy rather than hash brown like. The bar itself is full of character and and a few characters. It's a fun place for people-watching, and the barkeeps were super friendly and genuine.

My girlfriend and I recently saw this place on an episode of DDD with Guy Fieri and it just so happened to be the place our friends invited us to for brunch yesterday. Being a warm day in March, the place was packed around 11 AM, so we had a 20 minute wait to get seated. Food was amazing (I had the no-frills pancakes with a side of sausage patties (smashed style). Our waitress made sure our water never went empty and was very friendly. Will definitely come in again to try other things on the menu!

Never expected the great food & friendly service here! A dive bar with personality. Hubs & I came for a quick bit for dinner. I had the perogi dinner w sauerkraut & kielbasa. I have to say, the food was excellent! Hubs had meatloaf that he also thoroughly enjoyed. Great 80s music playing, friendly bartenders, great beers & food. Can't ask for more. Highly recommend.

A neighborhood bar that has been here for years. It used to be a dive bar years ago, but is now a very popular spot to grab something to eat and have a few drinks. They were very crowded, but by luck we didn't have to wait for a seat. It's definitely a small place and the tables are close together. Our waiter was very nice and checked on us often. The menu is not very large, but definitely some good options. The food was very good. I was pleasantly surprised, although it can be pricey. It is a very loud place, so if you want quiet, this would not be it. The only thing complaint I have was there was a very noticeable draft where we were sitting and no we were not by the front door. I would definitely like to go back to try other items on their menu.

Another Triple D joint, another homerun meal in Cleveland! Directly across the street from "A Christmas Story" lies a perfect dive with great eats! My salmon avacado toast was phenomenal. Good sourdough, flavorful dill cream cheese, lots of avocado and salmon. It was hearty and delicious. The star of the show for me were the pickled onions and capers on the toast. Briny acid cut the richness. I got a side of apples, nuts and honey. Very good candied walnuts but (I know this picky) my apples were cut poorly, still had the tough core and seeds, but oh well. The bacon wrapped tots - which Guy Fieri raved about - were definitely worth the hype! So good and I loved the spicy sauce. Such a fantastic breakfast. Get here early. It gets busy fast, and there was a longer wait.

Met up with some friends at Rowley Inn and left with a full and happy tummy! Ordered the strawberry shortcake martini which was creamy and delicious. I got the Clevelander burger which consisted of a burger patty, kielbasa, pierogi with beer cheese and sauerkraut! It was dense but so so good! Service was quick and the atmosphere was very chill!

Excellent food and service. Tables are very close together, so why I am bringing it down a star. It is in an old building , so I get you have to make do but just saying! Also the music was super loud for 8:25 on a Friday morning! Food- was all ever good and I might have had the best potato latke ever! Fried nice and crispy! Husband really enjoyed his schnitzel waffle breakfast sandwich. The pancake was also very good! Service was great and coffee was never empty! Would go back!

I was so impressed by the food here! It was recommended to me as "good bar food" but this is far from what I would call bar food! This may be a bar - but they have amazing restaurant style food. I would come here again just for the food. Although the drinks are good too. I should note that the food is definitely not priced as bar food. It's a little on the pricier side, but I can see why. I also really liked the interior. It felt cozy and comfortable. And the staff were really great. Overall rating: 4.8/5 stars

We love the food at the Rowley Inn, especially the vegan options. It allows our entire family a chance to eat breakfast out together. We always call ahead and it takes about 20 minutes to drive to the Rowley Inn. We still had a short wait upon arrival but it wasn't bad. It was Father's Day and it was very busy. We were seated in the back directly over a vent and it was very cold during our entire meal. I asked to move but was told the empty tables were for reservations and there were no moving tables. I was not aware we could make reservations. It seems they take reservations on Mother's Day and Father's Day. Now we know. We were happy with the meal.

The food arrived fairly quickly and I was impressed at the size of the meal. A large fillet perfectly fried and crispy. The fries were ok, but they do offer malt vinegar on the side and a the tartar sauce was good. The place definitely has that old English pub feel and appeared to be clean and orderly. You won't even be able to stand. As for my other visit, it was on a Friday night. A nice sized crowd, full bar. Sports game on the television. A nice atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.
