A young man put me on hold for 30 minutes and never came back to let me know if he had anything that would fit what I was looking for. He just never came back. Let me repeat: HE NEVER CAME BACK. I called back after 30 minutes and the lady who answered put me on hold, but came back within a few minutes to say: "He said that nothing we have fits." Why he left me hanging for 30 minutes was unacceptable.

The Kids workshops are held the 3rd Saturday of every month and are almost always located in the lumber department. Staff was kind and friendly and was patient to remove some nails for us (we accidentally nailed incorrectly oops). There weren't many people there when we went so we just had them check us in via a signup sheet print out and walked to our spot. There were hammers, hard hats and safety goggles at each station. They put planks on top of several small stacks of 5 gallon buckets so its easier to hammer nails in (no putting your craft on the floor to hammer!!). It is also well-lit. The price was very reasonable and the customer service was magnificent. They have a large and awesome variety of tools and materials. This is definitely the place to go first for supplies if you have a project that needs doing. I've since been in for AC Compressor coil cleaner. They were less expensive than Amazon AND I was able to clean my compressor coils today. There is even lively and interesting political discourse you can participate in going on behind the counter. I explained that I would be having my maintenance tech make the purchase and arrange delivery, that I was just confirming what company had the lowest price to expedite the process so that when he finished the job he was working on he would know where he was going to pick up the materials. I can understand not selling the products to unlicensed amateurs but not being able to quote a price to the person who has to make the decisions about where money is spent I promise you is a huge mistake.
