We purchased a 15x30 oval above ground pool from Keith. Excellent service & we were installed rather quickly. Keith explained everything in detail prior to installation & he spent a long time answering all our questions. We had many! Very professional and he was straightforward. I am so glad I didn't spend $3000 more for an "entry level" Marquis, when what I got what is basically a brand new Jacuzzi. I really liked the idea of having a "new" hot tub with a multi-year warranty, but I just could not convince myself in the end, that it was worth the difference in price. It wasn't. So I came to this business by referral and I am happy to report Backyard Oasis is a top notch family owned business that sells used spas that look and run well and can save you quite a bit of money. I bought the spa from Keith and later his son William delivered it. The cover for spa that I ordered would come later and in a specific color but they delivered with a loaner cover until my cover arrived. A week later, as agreed, they installed the new cover. The used spa runs like a top and they "water tested" the spa a couple days before delivery. I appreciate that they take a few days to test the used or reconditioned spa they sell before they deliver it. This way if there is a problem they will have caught it and fixed it before the customer takes delivery. So I highly recommend this company they can save you money and I had a great experience. We were shopping for a hot tub last December. I, of course, consulted yelp for where to go. We went to several locations (Premier hot tub, Atex family fun, spa expo). Most had fancy showrooms and dedicated sales people. Backyard Oasis had neither. In fact, when we pulled up, we almost pulled right back out. It looked a bit like a hot tub junkyard out front. Keith (the owner) refurbs old tubs and resells them for far cheaper than a new tub. We thought that we wanted a new tub though. I convinced my husband that we were there, so we should at least take a look. We looked. We decided that we didnt really want a refurb. He had 2 brand new Nordic tubs that he was selling and another brand new tub that he would order however we wanted it. The rest were refurbs. Frankly, we weren't convinced of the quality of his tubs, due to his showrooms appearance (a large garage type place). We kept shopping and went back to premiere hot tubs for a second look. We had been considering their 12k Bullfrog and their 10k Marquis, but hated the prices. We wanted a quality tub and they definitely carried quality tubs. This time, we happened to notice that the small but powerful plug and play they had was a Nordic. We hadnt noticed that before, as we thought it was just too small and we hadn't given it any thought. Keith had mentioned that he was dropping the brand and apparently Premier was picking it up. The entry level Retreat plug and play/4 seat/small Nordic hot tub with minimal jets was priced at over 6k at Premier! The much better 6 seat with nordic lights package, high end, double the horsepower Jubilee Nordic tub at Backyard had been under 5k! We priced that tub at premier and they wanted over 8k! Wow. At premier we had been able to test out the low end Nordic and it was great. Yes, we tested theirs with no intention of buying it there (3k difference in price, can you blame us??).We high tailed it over to Keith and purchased our super deal just 3 days before Christmas. He even had his boys deliver it the next day: 2 days before Christmas, in the rain. By Christmas we had it set up. They did slip a bit with it due to the rain and the casing sustained a little cosmetic damage. Keith ordered the pieces to swap out the damaged part of the casing and they came back and fixed it. Good as new. He's an honest, no bs type of guy. A little rough around the edges, but he will shoot you straight and while you won't feel glamorous shopping at his place, you will save thousands compared to other places. So glad we didn't drive away! read more

Just got our Hottub Delivered!! Looks Great, Brand New Skirting, Top ans Tile!! Set-up and Delivery a breeze. Placed right on our Pad and plugged into 110 outlet! Was great to go to yard and be able to pick out exactly the seating design and jet design that we wanted as well as size we wanted. I can't say enough about Keith and his employees. First of all, we were in the market for a new Jacuzzi, I heard about Keith from a friend and I was VERY hesitant to purchase a used hot tub. Once I met Keith that quickly went away. He explained to me in a NO PRESSURE way just what they do. It took me three different times of going back looking, then taking my wife, then going back for measurements. Each and every time he was just as professional as the first. We decided (meaning my wife said I want that one) and Keith informed us of where the jets, filters and pumps are located, he also explained the entire process the hot tub would go through and gave us the time line. He was wrong on the time line, it was there two weeks early! After it was delivered the electrician was here the next day. He got it wired up and we filled it up only to notice a leak!!!! I was furious. This was on a Sunday, I called and left messages on every phone number I had. Monday morning about 22 seconds after 10:00 (they open at 10:00) Keith had called me and informed me that he already has someone heading to my house. The repair man actually beat me there! When I apologized for making him wait he was one of the most professional young men had every met! He quickly found the problem and address it and found another problem that was unseen during the testing and replaced that part as well. During most every step along the way, I was impressed by the staff that Keith has working for him. Lastly, we were a bit skeptical about a "used" hot tub. However, if you decide to do business with this company in my opinion you will not be disappointed. I saw his ad on c.l. for a refurbished tub. I went in and looked at his selection and was skeptical because he said it would be 2 to 3 weeks before it got delivered and I had to leave 50% deposit. We made the deal anyway and not only did they get it to me a little faster than 2 weeks but the tub is great and I love it! They have reached out to me several times since delivery to check on my satisfaction level and I can honestly say that it has been a true 5 Star experience! I purchased a refurbished spa from Keith. Keith was very responsive to email and it took about 4 weeks from the time it was purchased to delivery. The spa was delivered and put in without issue. They used special equipment to get it to the back of my house. As I filled it with water and plugged it in after a day or two there, was not any hot water. I was able to call the main number and talked with the refurbisher who let me know about the breaker button on the heater. I was able to reset and off it went. A few days later I noted that there was a leak in the hot tub. I contacted Keith and he was able to come out in a couple of days to evaluate it. He ordered a part and later returned to fix it. Overall I am pleased with the spa and service after the sale as it was represented. I would recommend them to my friends and family if they were interested in getting a spa. read more

I bought a refurbished hot tub from backyard oasis in the summer of 2015. We selected a spa shell and negotiated the price for a fully refurbished tub. 4 weeks later it was delivered. Other than being filthy, it looked good. Once hooked up the problems started. First, it was missing the head rests and ozone generator which come from the factory with the spa. Upon calling Backyard Oasis said they were not included in a refurbished hot tub! $280 later I had headrests and a ozone generator. Once I began using it the GFCI breaker began tripping every time it was used. Apparently they did not caulk the control panel to the tub shell so water was shorting out the controller. After I fixed that, I noticed that the pump compartment was leaking water. A few days later the entire 400 gallon tub was empty. One of the plastic pump fittings was broken and leaking. I again called backyard oasis to come and fix the broken part and they said they would when they are available. I called 3 or 4 more times over the next 6 weeks to get them to come and fix the problem under their 90 day warranty. They never showed up and always had an excuse ("it rained yesterday" was one of them!). After having a worthless and non-functional hot-tub in my yard for 3 months I finally called another hot tub company to come fix the problem. It took them 15 minutes to replace the $0.50 fitting that was obviously 10+ years old and brittle. It should have been replaced when the tub was "refurbished". Another $200 (now $480 total) later my tub works great! Fine tub but horrible service and they do not honor their warranty! Buy somewhere else! read more

I found backyard oasis from some of their Craigslist ads and I drove to their store to see the selection. I found a perfect looking used tub and the price was very good. They refurbished it like new and they even predicted within a week of when it would be ready. They delivered and placed the tub as agreed with no issues. When we hooked up the power we found an issue with the new circuit board and they took action right away, ordering a replacement then going above and beyond to come out, replace it, hook up power and reprogram in one day. The weekly phone calls to update me on progress was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. I would buy from them again for sure and you should too! read more

5 Stars for Backyard Oasis, but "0" stars for the installer(Nicole & Luis). I had a pleasant experience with Keith at Backyard Oasis. I had a leak from a hose after the install. Keith sent his son out to take care of it, and he noticed something wrong with the pump. Keith immediately ordered another one, and had it installed. A coupled named Luis & Nicole did the install, but I would definitely not recommend them if your going to have your pool installed in-ground. We had ours installed 2 feet in-ground, but if it's not level, which ours was not, good luck getting them to correct it. They obviously do not guarantee their work. I wouldn't use this installer again, even if they agreed to do it for half price. They also gave me a bid to remove the dirt from the hole, which I agreed to pay, but they would constantly make excuses, and eventually stopped answering their phone...very bad business ethics. I want someone that is going to stand behind their work, which is what you will get from Backyard Oasis, but they need to find an installer that is willing to do the same. If I decide to have Luis & Nicole's work corrected, it is going to cost me $1,000.00...do not hire them, unless you are willing to accept their work, no matter what. read more

We had a bit of a rocky start due to not understanding the settings, so I highly recommend getting the proper manual and getting a walk through with their tech, William, who is also great!
