The good part: Mark got me right in at a convenient time. Living two miles away, I thought I'd take advantage of their shuttle service, mentioned on the website. Instead Mark hooked me up with a loaner for the day. The great part: they called to let me know that in fact my brake pads and rotors intrinsically were in excellent shape. The problem was some rust deposits on the rotor from the wonderful Michigan winter. There was no safety issue and they recommended NOT replacing the rotor (although that would have solved the noise problem). They were honest in not upselling me on a repair that I didn't really need. Total charge ~$35 The best part: In the process of investigating the problem, they fixed it. Noise is gone. I've found my new repair shop.
