Forest Hills Stadium has such a rich history, and I was excited to experience DMB there. The sound seemed a bit quiet as the event started. There are not the same amenities as newer venues, but there is not a bad seat in the house. The smaller space makes it pretty easy to navigate from getting in to exiting. Staff were plentiful and helpful.

It's like being back in time. Architecture is jaw dropping. Built in 1923 it was originally designed to be a tennis stadium. Who knew... In 1960 the space was converted for concerts and live events. The place feels special, previously hosting iconic groups like the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Rolling Stones. Its electric vibe still carries strong today. Tonight Shawn Mendes long awaited show did not disappoint. He lite up the night with all his fav's and even took to the crowd to add next level with his Houdini appearance mid show. As he pop out of nowhere into the upper tier crowd and surprised everyone. Truly a fabulous night

First time at this venue. I saw Chappell Roan and the sound quality was great. I enjoyed their variety of food options but they absolutely need more seating to eat. Many people were eating on the dirty ground as there are not enough tables. I was lucky to get a seat. Food prices were standard venue price gouging - $20 for chicken tenders etc. There are ample vegan and vegetarian options too. There's a massive amount of bathrooms that are clean. This is a huge win for a venue like this. The bleacher seating isn't the most comfortable and I wish that was actual seats with backs. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly. The train situation when the concert ends isn't great. Not sure why the LIRR entrances were closed so we wound up walking to the E train. I'd come back to this venue if someone else I like performs.

Absolutely love this stadium. This is such an iconic venue, small and intimate, yet large enough to get great sound, and there is not a bad seat in the house. Even the "nosebleed" seats are equivalent to the level 100s somewhere like Madison Square Garden. I've been to many concerts here and I've been lucky enough to see acts like Tom Petty, Sofi Tucker, and many independent bands I've never heard of. Everything is clean and well organized, with a nice faux grass space and many food options right before heading into the stadium. FHG likes to run their mouths continuously trying to close this place with their complaints, but it ain't gonna happen!

A little quiet. But the lights and TVs were huge for Jon Bellion. Easy to get into. All the staff are nice.

Forest Hills Stadium is a 100+ year-old 15,000 capacity-seated venue in Queens. Cool Facts: The U.S. Open was previously held at Forest Hills Stadium & concerts began at this venue in the1960's. It is close to 1.) Jade Eatery and Lounge (Asian- Fusion Cusisine), 2.) Near Long Island Railroad's (LIRR) Forest Hills Station, 3.) blocks away from various other eateries, stores & hang-out spots & lastly 4.) minutes away from the E, F & M trains at the Forest Hills -71 MTA Train Station. We visited Forest Hills Stadium last week to see Kaytranada live in Concert! Kaytranada performed 2 sold-out back-to-back shows & we attended the concert on 10/6. Arriving at the stadium, we first went through security & then staff scanned our tickets via the AXS App. There are multiple food / beverage vendors & a merch (shirts, albums, posters, etc.) for sale. There are unisex bathrooms. Individuals that purchase General Admission Floor Tickets are guaranteed floor/ standing access that is closer to the stage. We had General Admission Bowl Tickets & were on Tier 2 which consists of bleacher-style seating. Once we selected a stairway entrance, we went up and chose some seats. At Forest Hills Stadium, patrons choose their seats if you not in the floor area & are in a tier w/ seating. The concert was electric from beginning to end! Sam Gallaitry, Channel Tres & Kaytranada were all phenomenal! Every song, especially all of Kaytranada's music reminded us this was not just a concert, but a party!!! We were dancing the entire show! Kaytranada's "Bubba" Album is my favorite & it was one of the many great albums that got me through while working remotely from home during the height of COVID-19. When song "10%" blasted through the sound system, it reminded me of how grateful I am to have made it through that time. Everyone at Forest Hills Stadium had the times of their lives. The icing on the cake was Kaytranada & Channel Tres performing "Drip Sweat". Overall, A Great Show! Please bear in mind that if you attend a sold-out show @ Forest Hills Stadium, you run the risk of being in an area where it gets overcrowded. People that came to the concert late were standing in the walkway areas instead of going to find seats that had a less-than-desirable view of the stage. Security mentioned that this has ooccurred because it is a sold out show. This can cause a safety hazard & the hope is that Forest Hills Stadium can do something to address this concern. Other than that, we had a good experience. Website - foresthillsstadium.com Instagram - @foresthillsstadium

First time at this stadium to see Kaytranada on a Friday night. Many food options! We had rockstar chicken and it was good but could've been better if it was fresh. You could tell the chicken tenders had been sitting out. Bathrooms were busy but the lines moved and they were pretty clean when I went at the start of the show. I love the layout, you pretty much get a perfect view from anywhere in the stadium. Lots of stairs to climb unless you are on the floor, so beware. They do have people coming through the sections selling drinks so catch one and you won't have to go back down to refill!

They're lying on the seating map about obstructed view and also aisle seats. I've done obstructed view but let me know what I'm getting into. Live Nation venues are less stressful, with enough bathrooms that you can guzzle Liquid Death without worry (except for the difficulty of getting to places like Manasquan or Mastic Beach). The entry process was brisk. Egress is another story, especially if you're way up in the bleachers. Apparently because of the ongoing wars with NIMBYs, everyone's corralled into one street when leaving. LIRR is slightly quicker than the subway if Penn Station is vaguely on the way, but the time saving is reduced by an 80s Limelight/Palladium line.

Amazing staff accommodation to my gf with spinal bífida lead her directly to where she needed to be . Large array of vendors great seating overall except for parking a great experience . All the staff was a blessing.

Love this stadium. Went to see Jungle and signed up for the golden orchard VIP area. It was lots of fun. Played ping-pong and enjoyed a few drinks prior to the show. Seats are free for all within a certain section (based on your tickets). View is average and sound is great! Will definitely come back for more. PS - really cool to walk past the tennis courts on the way in. PPS - they also host other events - fit for foodies!

There are significant pros and cons for this venue. Pros: - good acts - good concession options - multiple water bottle refill stations - close to the train station - good customer service Cons: - almost impossible to park a car near the venue - you will probably have to stand if you want to see the show - there can be long line at the bathroom - you will want a seat back (extra cost) if you have a seat in the upper bowl

I know I'm a New Yorker who is supposed to say I love MSG (and I do!!) but I think Forest Hills is my favorite place to see a concert. The consistent tennis theme, the chance to pop in and out of the concert area to get something to eat/drink and still be so close, the acoustics, the convenience of the train, the nice Main Street area outside... yea, it's currently my favorite concert venue. I've seen both Fleet Foxes and Joyce Manor/Weezer and enjoyed both tremendously. I personally enjoy the general admission area (as you can see from the pictures - even standing towards the back is a great view). Excellent experiences, 10/10, highly recommend :)

Attending eeeatscon tomorrow does anyone know how the 70-20 Yellowstone blvd parking is?

I know that taking the train is recommended but can anyone recommend a decent parking garage in the area?

Do the ushers check if you're in the correct section, row, and seat when sitting in the upper bleacher sitting level?

Yes, they definitely check and direct you to the correct seat. After the concert has started they do not.

What food vendors are at the stadium?

Were you expecting sushi or the jerked chicken? You got a craft beer guy, paper carton wines, the usual Italian rice balls, chicken and fries, burgers and a hot dog vendor or 2. There's the Good Humor Ice cream guy, pre-made popcorn in bags, and a… Read more

What time do concerts end? Or is it up to the performer?

I've been to a few shows and none of them went past 10pm. Since the stadium is in the middle of a residential area I believe they limit how late the shows end.

Getting there does require a bit of walking as we ended up parking at the Skyview Mall and it was about a 20 minute walk from there. There is an LRR station right next to it, so if you come via train it would be much shorter. Security was a breeze and once you enter, it is more like a Universal Studios experience with several corporate enclosures that give you an immersive experience. We tried the Amex enclosure and there were plenty of activities inside including personalized tennis balls, Virtual table Tennis and even a tennis game video recording. We enjoyed the experience so much that forgot we were here to see a tennis match. After getting to the stadium itself, it was as if a festival was going on as more people were lined up at the food enclosures rather than the match itself. We saw a ladies singles where Jasmine Paolini was playing against Aiava, Destanee, none of whom I had heard of. It was a straight forward match with Paolini winning in straight sets. The main event was Medvedev vs a very unknown Benjamin Bonzi and what a match it turned out to be. Firrst of all most of the support was for Medvedev, but Bonzi ended up winning the first two sets. As he was serving for the match on a second serve, out of nowhere a cameraman walked onto the court. This hot the referee to award Bonzi a first serve, but Medvedev just lost it and created a whole commotion, first with the referee and then with the crowd who was very much behind him at that point. There was so much noise that play stopped for seven minutes as the crowd just roared non stop. This shook Bonzi so much that he ended up losing that set and even the next set 0-6 only to recover and beat Medvedev 6-4 in the final set. He did ended up getting a lot of support after that incident as they all felt sorry for him. It was a historic match, where Medvedev ended up getting fined 42K for his antics. We definitely got our money worth after all that excitement and watching a historic moment. The whole atmosphere, facilities, staff, stadium, cleanliness food was excellent.

We were a party of 8 and went all in on the Honey Deuces... only to end up disappointed. I'll leave the deep tennis commentary to the pros but for me, it was more about the atmosphere. With the roof closed because of rain, the stadium felt like a giant echo chamber in the best way.
