Now they are having a FABULOUS Persian cook Come Sats 10-1130 or 1230pm for takeout food. I cannot remember the names of all the foods We ate. However each dish better than the next!! We had 2 eggplant dishes, 2 different meat dishes and Persian rice with tahdig(sp) the crispy bottom to die for. I bought some incredible Persian flat bread and baklava for dessert! It was a PERFECT lunch to serve our new friend!!' Thank you everyone for bringing Persia to Pacific Grove! Sorry I forgot to take pics! You must get there early.

Drive through the porte cochere, parking in rear, use rear door. Open 7days/week! Not just produce, also an international market.

There is a specific Mexican soda I am unable to find in Monterey. It's called Chapparitas. Best soda in all the lands. Would you be able to carry it?

This time around we picked up some berries that didn't disappoint. They have a lot to offer and some stands have long lines (I assume that's a good sign). What I love...no dogs allowed in the market, it makes the ambiance more pleasing (for me personally). Worth a stop for sure. The only downside...no coffee dealers but then again, I go to ACME in seaside for the best coffee in the area.

Ambiance - it's at the Del Monte Shopping Center parking lot. A mall. The only mall for miles and miles. (Carmel doesn't count. Maybe Seaside/Sand City is getting bigger and Salinas is a world apart) There are others such as the one in downtown Monterey à la Alvarado Street but this looks to be the one in the mall parking lot. Luckily this mall isn't full the majority of the time (if ever?) because the parking lot is enormous and provides enough space for vendors. Little pricey for a farmers market. However, I did end up purchasing some salmon fresh off the boat, brought it home and cooked it that evening. ~$30 per pound so like I said, a little pricey. But dang it was good. The "Del Monte Market" location and the "Monterey" market are the same place according to the website. The parking lot of the mall. Who knows...

I was overcharged during my last visit. I got a three pieces of ribs that were from the deli section pre-cooked and I asked how much they would cost and the gentleman who helped me said 8.99 a pound. When he rung it up, he quickly took it off the scale, but I noticed it said .39 pounds and later after getting rung up and leaving, I noticed that I was charged five dollars!! Five dollars was written on the package. No indication of the weight was written on the package. He was also very selective of picking up the pieces he gave me...and I noticed that the pieces I got had large bone in them and very little meat. Definitely got less than a quarter pound of meat altogether once I removed it from the bone. So I have decided not to return because I don't trust that they're ringing up the meat correctly.

There may be something left." Shocked, I said, "Ok. Well. Do you have a restroom," and she said, "You don't want to buy anything. No." The rudeness was staggering from this store. If you don't want to work, don't! If you don't have a bathroom, say "No."

Studies show they harbor significantly more bacteria, fungi, and viruses than short, natural nails because the space underneath creates a dark, moist trap that is difficult to clean. Common sense 101: Please be smart and stop the spread of disease. Washing your hands often, especially, after touching the 8 POS computer screens at the express lanes all day? Perhaps, long fake nails should not be allowed in a supermarket to prevent illness? Keep it Clean and Safe is very important now. Make it "easy peasy, lemon squeezy" for All customers.
