    Legendary soft serve
    Celeste O.

Best soft serve ever. It's strawberry season and we happened to be there on opening Memorial Day weekend, so bf and hand picked strawberries for the first time. At $6 a pound, we had a great, wholesome time. The strawberries were great and they use it for their soft serve too. A must stop whenever we're in the area.

Pumpkin Patch is up and running and a feast for the eyes, wallet and lens !

We can literally fall out of our house onto this place, so it gets frequent emergency trips... The produce is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the cookies are worth accidentally having one fall into your basket! The cut flowers in the summer are super to see, the pumpkin patch is a family favorite, and even used as a coffee shop for a natter, it hits the mark. It's a nice combination place, well worth stopping by and having a look.

Earthbound Farms was such a delight to visit. My friend mentioned about this place so we decided to come check it out for lunch and was just blown away by what it had to offer. First off there was a little farm stand that you can buy produce, books, and items from small business from the area. The kitchen also offered a lot of food and drink options as well as some awesome soft serve. I got the chicken sandwich with a side of salad. The chicken was a little on the dry side but the salad was so good (and I'm not even a salad person). On top of this, they allowed bookings to pick your own flower bouquet in their field which looked like a lot of fun but we passed on that. There was a lot tables and seats around the farm stand for family's to get some food and enjoy the scenery. They also allowed access to their farm area so you can walk through their herb garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, and flower field. Overall a nice little area in Carmel Valley to spend a nice day just relaxing with family or catching up with friends.

First time stopping in. Ordered the Harvest Salad. It was tasty. However, the menu advertised watermelon radish. It was missing and replaced with regular radish. And the roasted squash was very disappointing. Very mushy and sour tasting. It was definitely not freshly roasted. And it didn't even seem to have been roasted.

This place is magical. If you can make a trip out to go, GO! I've been here once before and came again today with my family to celebrate my Mom's birthday. They have a restaurant and coffee shop to order food, drinks, coffee, and pastries. They have an immaculately cute and adorable outside area, including benches, tables with seating, pumpkins (during this time of year), and a garden shed where you can purchase little farm-related trinkets. In the back, there is a swing set, corn maze, Native American-inspired tent, and a larger area filled with rows and rows of flowers and fruit that is available to be picked. The place is so aesthetic for photos, relaxing to spend time with loved ones, and a great people watching spot, especially for families with small kids running around having fun. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here and not realize it. It's so relaxing. I also absolutely loved the hanging lights above the yard in the outside area and mentioned to my family today it would be a great place for people to get married. That's how nice, cute, and aesthetic it is. When you get a chance, come check it out!

I am in love with this farm stand!!! I stumbled across Earthbound Farm while looking for dog friendly pumpkin patches in the South Bay. Pumpkins, dog friendly, and food?! I was sold! It's super family friendly as well. There is plenty of FREE parking. The grounds are gorgeous! They offer so much. From their cute little market, to breakfast, lunch, and drink offerings, to their garden grounds. I am in love. Their pumpkin patch is small but super cute. Lots of photo opps. I love how peaceful it is and not too overly crowded. I had such a nice time and can't wait to be back!

Overall great vibes, it's super fun going through the pumpkin patch and there's a lot of photo opportunities for kids and dogs alike. The parking can be a little hard but definitely easier the earlier you are. There's a good variety of pumpkins that you can pick from and if you're lost, the staff has binders that can help get a good sense of what varieties are good for which.

Lovely day to spend amongst rows and rows of pretty tulips. They also have adirondack chairs out for you to sit and enjoy the breeze while looking at the tulips. The farm is only you pick until 3pm even though they open until 5pm. You pick allows you to actually dig up bulbs of your choosing to purchase, not only cut off stems. The farm also has a store and cafe where you can order food and go outside to eat at picnic tables and fire pit area. They have a kids garden as well. Really fun little organic farm for a stop on your day trip in Carmel.

You may have seen Earthbound Farms in your local grocery store. As a leader in the modern-day organic food movement and with literal roots in Carmel some 40 years ago, Earthbound is a perfect spot to enjoy fresh food in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Setup like a roadside farmstand, you'll find everything from a flower stand to a small grocery and cafe. There's plenty of outdoor seating, some fire pits, and a grass area where you can bring your own picnic blanket. The farmstand itself is chock-full of goodies and a little cramped. Note, dogs are not allowed inside the store. We were greeted by the staff and helped ourselves to the printed menus on the wall. For whatever reason, the veggie sandwich sounded like a winner. I opted to add some cheese to make it extra delectable. My partner opted for the BLT. Each came with a decent sized side salad topped with their golden balsamic vinaigrette. My mouth still waters at this. Check out the recipe at the end! The sandwiches were crafted on house-made multigrain bread - a real treat if you've been used to that processed stuff. We shared halves of our sandwiches and both agreed that the veggie with cheese was a winner. Crispy, gooey, and full of fresh-riped veggies made this a fun grown-up grilled cheese. Perfect for a sunny yet slightly chilly February afternoon. If only we would have ordered the soup! We concluded our visit with a quick jaunt around their gardens, located behind the farmstand. Dogs, understandably, are not allowed back here too. But we did spot a sweet bob-tailed cat amongst the emerging tulips! This was a nice stop on our way home and we thoroughly enjoyed every element of Earthbound. Recipe: Earthbound's Golden Balsamic Vinaigrette Servings: 2 cups Ingredients: 1 teaspoon chopped garlic 1 teaspoon chopped shallot 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup golden balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup good quality olive oil 1 cup sunflower oil Directions: Place all ingredients except oils in a food processor or blender and blend. Combine the two oils. With the blender or food processor running, slowly drizzle in the oils until emulsified. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For best flavor, let the vinaigrette come to room temperature before serving.

Cute little farm with lots to do! We noticed the flower fields off the side of the road on our way to a winery and knew we had to stop on our way back. Parking was pretty rough so we ended up parking nearby at our hotel and walking over which wasn't too bad. You can pick your own flowers here! ($25 for a dozen, $50 for 24). We ended up just walking around, there was a lot of see here, an herb garden, a kitchen garden, the flower garden and an area for kids. There is also a cute cafe / organic food store on site with a variety of food, ice cream, and other goodies. I got the house made chai and it was so yummy! So spicy and sweet. They are also dog friendly in the outdoor seating area.

Came here for the flowers, but unfortunately it wasn't the season. Although, it was still so beautiful. The gardens are so cute the cafe has many options. Unfortunately, the day we came it started raining and we had to leave while we were still walking around, but I'd love to come back! Definitely worth a visit especially for those with kids. It is a very interactive place.

Just ADORE this place ~ SERENE, PEACEFUL, BEAUTIFUL in a natural way. Stopped in a Sunday for coffee, it was quite busy still lovely just a bit crowed for our liking. Soooo back we went mid week & it was PERFECT . Slower, no lines quicker service. Wonderful coffee options & the food is all fresh farm to table the AVOCADO TOAST is DEEEELISH on a whole grain bread with the right amount of avo schmere & cherry tomatoes served with a fresh green salad & ribbons of carrots as pretty to look as it was to eat. Their breakfast burritos are giant, nice to share filled with eggs, potatoes or other options depending on your tastes. For the traditionalist bacon & eggs plate is an option. Plenty of seating options in the sun or the shade which we prefer and each on with pretty views of the gardens ‍ after your finished or while drinkin your Morning Cup of Joe stroll the garden and just breathe in the peacefulness.

What I love...no dogs allowed in the market, it makes the ambiance more pleasing (for me personally). Worth a stop for sure. The only downside...no coffee dealers but then again, I go to ACME in seaside for the best coffee in the area.

Ambiance - it's at the Del Monte Shopping Center parking lot. A mall. The only mall for miles and miles. (Carmel doesn't count. Maybe Seaside/Sand City is getting bigger and Salinas is a world apart) There are others such as the one in downtown Monterey à la Alvarado Street but this looks to be the one in the mall parking lot. Luckily this mall isn't full the majority of the time (if ever?) because the parking lot is enormous and provides enough space for vendors. Little pricey for a farmers market. However, I did end up purchasing some salmon fresh off the boat, brought it home and cooked it that evening. ~$30 per pound so like I said, a little pricey. But dang it was good. The "Del Monte Market" location and the "Monterey" market are the same place according to the website. The parking lot of the mall. Who knows...

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've encountered this issue. Every time I buy vegetables or fruits from your store, they turn out to be old and in poor condition. I bought a bag of wrapped romaine lettuce that I was told was fresh and new. However, when I got home and opened it, it was clearly old and wilted, as shown in the attached photo. It is not worth to return it as the trip is going to cost be more than 3.99. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your quality control. You may have to hunt through some less-attractive produce in the bin, but you'll be rewarded with deals like oranges at $.49 a pound or onions at $.39 a pound. They also have interesting assortments of spices and somewhat random selections of other goods, particularly from the Middle East. It's not a big place and it seems to be pretty popular, so patience is usually a good thing when visiting and waiting for checkout. The guy who's usually working there is great and will often walk around asking if you need help finding things. I would recommend getting a receipt and double-checking your purchases in part because check-out can be kind of confusing in terms of what's been scanned or not, but I've found the prices to always add up correctly.
