    Pretty big Forever 21, it had all of the departments (Men's, Plus, Home, Jewelry). It was clean as well which is always nice.

    While shopping at the Downey location this evening I found a jacket I was interested in purchasing, however they did not have my size. One of the associates looked it up for me and found it at the Lakewood location, and suggested I call them with the ticket number and ask them to hold it for me, which I did. Upon arriving at the Lakewood location and speaking to the associate who took my call, I was told that she was not able to look for the jacket because the computer did not show a picture of it. I was then pointed to a direction of the store, and told go past the black curtain and look there. If it's not there, go look over there (pointing to another direction) and if it's not there go look there (pointing to yet another location). Not once did she offer to help me look, not once did she offer to get someone to help me look. After looking in the first spot, I found a jacket similar to the one I was looking for and decided to purchase it after trying it on. Now this is where the service gets even worse!! On the glass doors and windows walking into the store are 8 x 10 fluorescent yellow signs promoting 50% off jackets (regular price items only). Great!! I have a jacket that I want to purchase and it's 50% off. Wrong!!! The associate rings it up and tells me it's regular price. I question the price and explain the sign that they have posted all over the store as well as the doors and windows coming into the store. He then calls over what I assume is a manager and I explain to him as well that this is a jacket, the tag says jacket and the sign says jackets 50% off. He then tells me that it's for select jackets, however the sign/signs do NOT say this. He then looks at the ticket and with a very sarcastic smirk says, "Its because this is a casual jacket." Again, nowhere on the signs does it say select jackets or excludes "casual jackets." This is false advertisement and Forever 21 did not honor their signs posted. Forever 21, false advertisement is not ok, and this sale should have been honored!!! I just went on the Forever 21 website and guess what!!! The jacket that the manager (Alex) at the Lakewood location told me was not 50% off, IT IS INDEED 50% OFF! Forever 21, train your employees correctly!!!

    Anthony one of the "operating managers" is so rude and has poor customer service skills. If you hate your job get a new one no one is forcing you to be there. Also his fingernails were very dirty...says a lot about the cleanliness of the store and this "manager". Must be a really bad hiring pool if that's who you hired as a manager. Will stick to Cerritos.

    So after speaking with Customer Service I was told I would hear something in 3 to 5 business days still waiting Update: I finally got a phone call on June 21st from Diane store manager. She gave 0 accountability for Managers Flor or Rick and even less for the employee who gave me the wrong information. She told me that the managers don't know when Promotions end and that I probably talk to a one day employee that is why she told me the promotion was still going on. I asked isn't it their job to be aware. She then asked me what did I want. I was like a apology and I don't know a coupon. She told me to come see her that Wednesday and I could get 10% off one item that was regular price and that I should not have been dismissed. She then went in great lengths to tell me about the buy 1 get one free sale. I didn't bother to the next day. Nor will be bothering to go again. Her employees were rude and they are not aware of sales and promotions what help are they to the consumer. I have a special needs grandchild who likes their clothes because they are cute and comfortable to her gives her confidence (she's plus size and that store has a big selection). I liked them because they made her feel good and saved on my pocket but I would rather pay more great customer service. The Lakewood store has always had subpar service but it just keeps going downhill but it starts with management.

    Finally, I'm next...Why the hell am I even here??

    Damn you Forever 21!!, Please realize that I am a MAN and I do not NEED to shop in your store... You have 15-20 people working the floor, gossiping about a customer they think looks like a whore, or making sure no one uses the available dressing room (there are two, but one is always empty and purposely blocked off by a garment rack). If you are so well staffed, WHY is there only one cashier helping a line of 5+ customers?? Your customer service policies confuse me, as do your offerings for men's fashions...

    By far the dirtiest store I've ever been too. There are so many stains on the floor! The place was disgusting.

    My god, this was the most disgusting store I've ever been to. First of all when you walk in it looks more like an abandoned Kohl's or Mervins than a Forever 21. There's carpet instead of a smooth floor some reason which actually contributes to how dirty the store looks. I wish I could have counted all the stains that were on the carpet. They weren't little stains either but HUGE disgusting stains! I'm sure most of them are just spilled drinks but that doesn't matter- stains should be removed! There was also so many products dropped on the floor to the point that it was ridiculous. And not to mention the store was pretty unorganized too but I can sort of look past that since that's kind of common for Forever 21 stores. Employees just chatting up and not doing anything about the stuff on the ground, now that's something I really dislike. To the owners, please do something about that carpet! Either have a company come to deep clean the carpet or switch to another form of flooring because it is honestly disgusting. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a good 6+ years. If I lived in the area I would not go back because of the store's appearance. I may sound harsh but I have never seen a store this dirty in my life.

    This lakewood mall location is beyond horrible. Employees use foil language, clesrance is always a mess, Sharon is rude.

I received a rather cold reception from the employees there and as a result ended up visiting DXL, making a fairly substantial purpose, and I've been a customer ever since. I have never received anything but stellar treatment right down to being offered a complimentary water. Best of all I generally know what it is I need and with the assistance of the knowledgeable staff I am generally in and out in no time. As pleasant as they are I still prefer my free time be spent doing something other than clothes shopping. My sincerest thanks to the people at the Lakewood store. I'm sure I will see you soon.

I've shopped here many, many times and every time it's the same thing. The first couple of times I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe thought to myself that he might have been having a bad day. But NO he's already rude is hesitant to help me even when I've asked him for assistance. Now I'm a Mexican woman and I am also a lesbian. So I'm assuming he has a problem with either the LGBT community or with Mexican. I say this because the multiple times he's been rude and unwilling to help me I then see him a few minutes later with other African American customers and he's treating them COMPLETELY differently than how he treats me. With his own people, he's super friendly talkative and helpful. And I've noticed this again several times it hasn't been once or twice. It's been over 10 times that I've seen this. This last time I went in, I took my dad in since it was his birthday and he needed a new suit for church. I went into the store and again saw the same gentleman at the counter, helping another customer. As I pass by, I kindly asked him if once he's done with that customer if he can help us with suits for my dad. To which he responded I'll see what I can do. Right then, in there it kind of made me feel as if he obviously did not want to help us. He then came after a few minutes and ask me what I needed help with and I explained to him that I wanted a soup for my dad, and I asked them about a pair of pants which he was reluctant to even look for them and told me no we don't have them in stock and just walked away. So I just continue looking through everything to try to find my dad the perfect suit. I ended up buying two suits for my dad which came out to almost $600. But I was very upset. I felt humiliated and belittled by this employee which again I believe he's a manager. I reached out to someone above him and she took my car I believe her name was Sarah. She reached out to me and heard me out and seemed to be very upset by how that employee treated us, and stated she would see how she can make it up to me. After about two weeks, she never got back to me so I reached back out and asked her if she had forgotten about me. She said no and she said let me see what I can do. I need to speak to my superiors and maybe the next day she called me again and said they're willing to give me a $50 gift card for all the inconveniences and how I was treated by this employee. Now remind you, I spent $600 in that store on that one visit and I spent a lot more money in all my previous visits that I've done. Now if anyone has ever shopped at DXL you'll know that you basically can't buy anything with $50. I just felt that a $50 gift card was basically a slap in the face and to top it off she told me to go and pick it up in the store with that guy there. Which I thought was a terrible choice to have me go see that man again. I'm very disappointed, and how even the higher of managers have handled this situation. They have really lost a loyal (despite the horrible customer service) customer.

The manager ignored me. I addressed her kindly just asking about options. She wouldn't even look up at me. Her tune was overly rude and condescending. She continued to mistreat and talk down to me. I didn't understand why she was treating me so horribly. I was hoping to stay and shop but I haven't been belittled like that when simply asking about a return so I immediately wanted to leave.     1/31/26 In the market for a quality mattress for our aching backs (heck, our entire body)…read more Amazingly great selection at this Macy's in Lakewood Center mall, plus it closes at 9 pm on a Saturday while the one in Cerritos mall closes at 8 pm. A sales clerk, Jay, was helpful in giving us the rundown of what they offer, forthcoming with answers. Btw, there was no sales clerk at Cerritos when we visited. Delivery is free (I should've asked what the cut off or limit is) BUT it could take up to 7 days! Whoa! Good to know. King sized sets ranged from roughly $1000-2000 (free box spring, I sure hope so, I thought it automatically comes with it.). That's the sale price. That's your basic set, if you're looking for the bells & whistles, for instance, the motor for adjustable beds, that could run you another $1000. If it's 2 things a person MUST have, comfortable shoes & really good bed/mattress. Be good to yourself, you only have one life to live, these you must have. The sticker prices are a shock to your system but to have painful feet & body- is a M@T#€r&Uck3R lol. Our choices are pretty much narrowed down to the Sealy, firm with pillow top. But will continue to shop around. We're running out of time do we gotta hurry up. This Macy's was good stop.

I went back to only other checkout and the line was shortened by one. This floor was crowded with shoppers just folks waiting in line. I kept glancing at my items and wondering if I really needed them. I put back one item and because I had some descent clearance items, I was not parting with them. Anyway, that's the challenges in shoppingespecially when you don't feel well and standing was becoming chore. It only gets tiring when you can't move forward quick enough. if I wasn't annoyed at the lack of registers opened, I probably would've bought more.
