I recently stocked up on all the tennis / golf skirts from lululemon in every color, and they are not even comfortable (or as cute) I came in and it was your run of the mill old navy. I went and tried on some of their High-Waisted StretchTech Pleated Skorts (these are extremely soft) and their- Extra High-Waisted StretchTech Micro-Pleated Skorts They always have sales going on. I order them online often because they usually don't have a lot of the colors in stock at the store. I bought all these for golf lessons but now I just wear them for everyday wear. I always get so many compliments on them and nobody believes me when I say they are from old Navy (ladies, don't gate keep where you get your cute stuff from!) The thing that makes these way better than the lululemon ones (besides the price) is the shorts underneath are soooo comfortable I would say these run true to size or even a little big. I've made a few returns here for the smaller size and the cashier was so friendly at making returns and swapping out for the different size. I can't stress enough how friendly the workers are here. After reading some of the reviews it looked like a few people agree how great the service is If you are a sporty girl or just love the look of these skirts / skorts I highly highly highly recommend them here!!! I've been shopping at Torrid since it opened in the early 2000's. Torrid stores in California, Texas and Kansas. Since 2020, I haven't stepped in a Torrid Brick and Mortar store. I usually shop online. Yesterday I decided to head to Torrid Cerritos. Two ladies behind the counter turned around from handling clothes behind the counter and hurriedly said welcome then turned back continuing on with clothes. I looked around for a few pieces in the front, but I wanted help with narrowing down a dress for church that I had to be at in an hour. When I asked for help one of the ladies didn't appear happy. Because one of them had to help me, she appeared almost annoyed. I told her my size when she asked and she immediately started saying she wasn't sure she had my size in her store. I knew that was not true because I saw a couple of newer pieces in the front. She said she might have some in the clearance rack and she started trying to pull pieces from the Clearance rack. Usually the clearance rack has very outdated clothing. But she assumed I couldn't afford a new dress or something. After a couple of minutes she pulled out an atrocious muted peach dress that was from 10 or more summers ago, at least it looked like it. It looked see through, the employee tried to gaslight me into thinking it wasn't. At that point I was ready to leave. I went back to front of the store and just decided to leave. I've never felt so bad. I was treated really poorly, tossed aside. The employee had a take it or leave it attitude. I was looking for a little grace, dignity and Respect. I left there thinking this is the last time I'll be patronizing Torrid. I never could have imagined that I'd be saying goodbye to my old faithful clothing store. Torrid, you were good until you weren't.

I was just there twice in the last few weeks and the customer service if friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I noticed this change since a while back but I hadn't thought of coming back and updating my review. Being there earlier this week reminded me to come back and update it. Only part that I still don't like is that they won't price match their online prices. I do more online shopping than in store. Sometimes I end up buying in store and then having to return store bought items when there's a significant price difference online. It's a bit of a hassle. Alsooo, internet connection is awful inside the store so you can't even price compare with their online prices in real time.

They helped me get all the measurements I need. Even direct to places that could help me. The place was busy. It looked like there was plenty of selection if I could fit in anything right at the front door there was taken additional 30% off, so I'm sure there was good value. My biggest compliment of them is the people there that we're working really cared and were jumping around helping people so I would recommend this store hands-down.

She then told him he could try a 2X (their smallest size according to her), but repeated that "it's not going to look good on you." At that point, my husband turned around and left. The entire interaction was extremely rude, dismissive, and unnecessary. We came into the store ready to purchase a suit, and instead of receiving assistance, my husband was repeatedly told that nothing would fit him or look good on him before he was even given the opportunity to try anything on. Regardless of whether an employee believes a particular size or style will work, there is a respectful and professional way to assist a customer. Making someone feel unwelcome or uncomfortable about their body or size is not it.!We left without purchasing anything and will gladly take our business somewhere else.
