Many years ago when I was a teenager, I sometimes shopped at Rainbow Shops. Now that I am older and have more money, I rarely shop here, but I recently felt curious about their merchandise so stopped in. An employee made eye contact with me and walked way rather than speak with me. The racks were packed with many styles of shirts, sweaters, pants, dresses, jackets, and more. The quality of the fabrics, sewing, etcetera was OK. Prices were fairly low. I found a few t-shirts in different colors that I liked and that each cost only several dollars.

I felt happy with the selection of shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, outerwear, etcetera. The prices ranged from low to high. I particularly liked the styles of Calvin Klein dresses. I, however, ended up picking out only a blouse that was on clearance for just $10. At the cash register, I had to wait a few minutes while other customers were being served. The cashier spoke very nicely with me, greeting me and wishing me a good day. She made no mistakes with the transaction. I was asked to donate my rounded-up change to the Hispanic Federation charity, which appears to do good work but, based on your political views, you might want to look up before donating.

I went in to do a return and the check out line was ridiculously long! So I went to another store…read moreand came back.The same long line and 1 cashier.Ppl get upset when you shop on line but this is another reason, I would have done a mail back return by I was in the area. Also I decided to look at some things and had a question.I couldn't find any one in the whole store to ask.So customer service is not what you get in brick and mortar. That is another reason I shop online.Also when I got home. I checked my receipt from my return and realized I only got credit for one of my items after all of that. I contacted customer service and they quickly resolve my problem.

It sits below JC Penny and has entrances from the parking lot (near Best Buy) and the inside of the mall. If you're looking for cheaper prices, check out Going, Going, Gone in the back of the mall (the Annex part). They have similar stuff but a lot on clearance. It's not on par with that new Dick's House of Sport at Ross Park, but it's decent for this area.
