Liked: - Great selection of boots in stock - Lots of great shirts and hats, in stock - Store is clean and squared away. - Merchandised and set up in a very "appetizing way" Disliked: - Staff seem like they Do NOT want to be there. - The place is understaffed / staff not knowledgable on Western wear. - When I had specific questions / needed help on some services with my boots the person I interacted with lied when I asked could they be more aggressive - the stretching you just did (when trying on the boots) does not feel any different than pre- stretch. Answer: "no, they just do what they do". Also the boots shrink back after stretching- which is also mostly NOT true. They rebound a bit but not to the point where the boots fit NO differently. Now I am in a disappointing situation - my Bootbarn boots are painful and I need them for a cattle drive / ranch work I have next week. - I was surprised I was NOT asked where the fit was still tight - instep, width or both - I asked about getting a hat adjusted I purchased there and was told the steamer is broken - my confidence that this was true at this point was very low. Much of this may have been a communication and understanding issue on the side of Boot Barn employee. But in short the customer experience was: Employee/s: - do not want to be here. - trying to clear people out of the store because it is too much work - do not know what they are talking about so want to side step anything other than coming to the register to purchase something.
