As if things could not get any worse from the last visit. I came into the store to return an item on 11/14/2018. The merchandise was purchased on 10/14/2018. According to the receipt I have 30 days to return or exchange. The young lady at the register calls her manager over and the manager tell me that I can only exchange it for a item with the same price because the receipt at the bottom says the last day to EXCHANGE is 11/13/2018. Keep in mind the same receipt says return or exchange within 30 days. The manager proceeds to tell me that my receipt has expired and I had to return or exchange by 11/13/2018 so there was nothing she could do. She even goes further to say that if she were to try to do the return on the register is would say that the receipt was expired and would not let her even start or let alone do a return. Well, I can see the register from where I am standing so I ask if she can show me so I can see what she was talking about. She scans the receipt and nothing, I mean nothing pops up on the register saying that the receipt was expired or anything. So I said oh looks like you can do it after all. Why don't you try it and lets see together if it lets you refund my money back to me, afterall I do not shop here often and would like to be rid of this single piece of merchandise so I can be on my way. Imagine the look on her face as she stood there amazed that that the register was "letting her" refund my money back to me. She then goes on to talk to the other associate as if I am no longer standing there, which I am and says something to the effect of "I wonder if this is because of the holiday so it adds a day to the return date?" How sway? Just how? As she completes my refund, she gives me a copy of my return receipt and tells me to have a nice day in a real bitter tone. Do not be bitter with me, be bitter with the register who made you look like you did not know what you were talking about. Sounds like you two should go grabs drinks after work and talk about how you can work on your communication with each other. read more

Was shopping there on black friday and the cashier named Farhat and her cashier number is 5003846 was incredibly rude. she said if i signed up for the credit card i would get an additional 20% off of the 30% discount already going on. My two other friends heard her say this and one tried to talk me out of it but Farhat unlisted I would get approved. when i didn't she didn't give me the discount and claimed she never said that i would. we asked for a manager and she claimed she was one and so we asked for her name and she refused to give it to us. she then tried to short change me by only typing in $45 when i gave her $50 in cash. thank god i was paying attention!!! overall rude and just dumb like don't lie lol and don't get mad when we caught you in a lie read more

Worst experience with Forever 21 was with this particular store! My online order was lost for 5 days, mind you, I had called every 2 days to see where my package was. After speaking with several associates, I called and asked to speak with the Manager directly. She was very rude upon having to tell me my package was there. It had been there for 5 days and i had called twice within that 5 day gap. This store has ruined my experience with Forever 21 services. The customer service department isnt better. If they lose your package, you have to wait a week for them to investigate. Since i was told they confirmed the package arriving at the store, i investigated myself and discovered it was just complete laziness on both ends. Now i have to find somewhere to shop for clothing because customer service isnt up to par. A real shame because I love the Brand. read more

I wanted to give it 3.5 stars but it won't let me. My daughter and two of her friends spent well over an hour in the store and came out with about five things total. The store is HUGE and very, very clean. Things are in order and organized. However, my daughter seems to find more things one their website than she does in the store. Store very crowded both with people and merchandise placed in clise proximity. Also, as large as that store is, there are no handicapoed parking spaces nearby. We waited 15 minutes before finding a parking soace; however, Mom could not leave the car as it was too far for her to walk to the front door of the store. This has to be illegal for the mall to not have handicapoed parking. There are large areas nearby, but not designated handicapoed. read more

Although I love Forever 21, I've never been more disappointed with a retail store. I hadn't visited in a while, so I thought maybe they had decided to change the store layout up by mixing all the items. I quickly realized that this wasn't the case and that it was only due to a lack of care that literally all items within the store were out of place and mixed up on every rack. Also, there were lots of items on the ground, including trash (water bottles, paper, etc) and the shoe section was ridiculous (see picture). I realize this is a busy location, but it seemed as if no one really cared about the look of it and I didn't encounter anyone that was willing to help. Frequently shop at this location with few to no issues. Other than the store being messy but that's with any forever 21 store in my opinion. However last night my boyfriend and I went to check out and the woman was super rude. No greeting, all she did was stand there screaming NEXT for the next customer. I sat my items up on the counter and she just stared at me like I was piece of sh*t for a good 5 seconds. I even helped her with organizing the items I had since I had about $200 worth of merchandise. My bf asked to separate an item for himself and she tossed it to the side without even saying anything. Hopefully nothing I had in the bag was broken because she dumped everything out upon my arrival to the counter, god forbid I had a mirror in there. Hopefully it didn't break as i don't believe those certain items are returnable. I would think that spending that much money at a forever 21 would suffice some better customer service. They have the rudest and useless staff.! I went in to shop on two separate occasions. The first time I asked a sale associate about the additional 50% off sale and he just looked and goes "oh it's whatever it's marked", when indeed it was an additional 50% off. When I got to the register, the stores assistant manager was running the register. She was doing everything but ringing, talking on the phone, walking away from the register, talking to sales associates and so much more! The 2nd time I went in I saw 3 sales associates whom all made eye contact but none of them spoke, smiled or even acknowledged me. Not once was I asked if everything was ok or anything. I even commented out loud about the rudeness of the sale associates and even after hearing me, none of them bothered to speak. The first and only time I was greeted was at the register! I will NOT be shopping at this location again until they learn what good customer service is!! read more

I love Forever 21 & their prices but this location always seems to be congested and overwhelming. They have big selections of apparel & jewelry. What I never understand is why have many registers throughout the store but like 1 or 2 open. If you like having personal space, I suggest their Fair Oaks store. read more

So I debated between a 3/4 star rating for this store at the Potomac mills location. The reasons I choose to give the store a 4 star rating are that the store employees were very nice and super helpful. They had good attitudes and did not make me feel as though I was bothering them or a burden as I have experienced at other retail stores in the past. The store also is pretty large and has a wide selection. The issue I had was that the smaller sizes seemed to not have as much stock as some of the larger sizes which made it harder for me to shop for my daughter. Another issue I had is that things seem to be very spread out and we really did not know where to start and kept having to move from one side of the store or area of the store to the next which made pairing outfits harder than normal to say the least. Overall the staff was wonderful and the prices were great. The points taken off are basically for the lack of small sizes and the fact that the store layout is not my favorite. read more

I stopped by this store to get a couple of items last week, Wednesday May 2nd between 8 and 9pm. I went to the fitting room to try the items and the lady (20s) who was there did not greet me. She looked at me and just turned around without offering any help. There was a gentleman (20s as well) who asked how many items. He directed me to a fitting room, then I asked if he could find a different size for me. He said he couldn't but could ask someone else to do it. No one came back with the item I had requested, until I asked. The lady and the gentleman started arguing about who was cleaning something. The lady sounded like a bully giving orders. I guess they were both in charge of the fitting room.. to make a long story short, I personally think they sounded very unprofessional and with no retail/customer skills. They were acting as if they were at their house. Forever 21 should really focus on better customer service or at least hire customer oriented people. Never going back to that store and won't be recommending it to others either. read more

A store full of associates this morning with less than 5 actual customers and not one person offered to help me, at any point and time. So, I asked for help, three times. English was clearly not the first language of ANYONE working in the store and they not only acted annoyed by my simple questions but knew nothing about their actual stock! So there was only one cashier at the counter and I was the only one in line. You would think the cashier would attend to me right away after finishing with one customer she's with. But you know what she does instead? Talk with a friend that came up to her and made me wait longer than I should have. Does this girl not know what her job is? And then more people came in line; she kept them waiting,too. Whoever is the manager of this store, please remind Moushomi (the cashier) what her tasks and duties as an associate are.
