I actually like the selection this beauty supply store has to offer. They have a wide variety of options to choose from and the prices are reasonable. They have some type of sale or discount going on every day and you can build up points every purchase to get money off. I pretty much always find what I need. If I need help with something the workers are usually pretty helpful about pointing me in the right direction. The parking lot isn't super big so when it is packed waiting on parking is annoying or trying to find nearby street parking is a hassle. Otherwise this is the my go to store read more

This has to be the worst customer service place ever. There's a depiction of a black woman in their logo . Even though they are all of Asian descent. I come here because it has the biggest variety in the area but never have a good experience. Spent 100 here on Saturday. Had extra hair to return because the policy states returns are taken up to 7 days after purchase. I come in and the employee says he can't do returns but he can do exchanges which are the exact same thing. He then says only the owner can do returns . Which is not at the store. He says they'll be back within 30 minutes so I wait. He and the other cashier then start speaking another language about a "return" . All while I continue to wait on their manager. I would not recommend this beauty supply to anyone. I can't wait for another one to open in the area. Because they've been doing bad business for too many years. read more

This place is great!!! Clearly, they do cater to a specific clientele but even if that's not you, there is tons of great stuff here. The cosmetic selection is big. You won't find the typical drugstore brands here but you will find the more obscure indie brands that are usually pretty good like NickaK, Kiss Professional (Yeah! They sell more than just fake nails!), and Kleancolor. Lots of brushes too! I did see a lot of name brand hair products, like Paul Mitchell but price-wise I could do better at Ulta. I bought 2 eyeshadows, 2 eyeshadow palettes, and a blending brush. The Asian man at the register was very friendly. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful, making sure I knew what each product was for and actually helping me find deals while shopping for similar brands. BLACK PEOPLE STOP SUPPORTING THIS STORE BECAUSE IT'S VERY OBVIOUS they DON'T LIKE US!!!!!!! Just because this store has almost every product "Black People" desire and or need...THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! First off, I entered the store and I'm IMMEDIATELY followed by a Korean woman. When I move in one isle, she was peeping at me from another isle; pretending like she was stocking when she was watching me. And not that I care about being watched because I don't go into stores to steal but these store workers are notorious for watching "Black People" in their stores...matter of fact "Black People" are 99.9999% of their business but they treat us like we're all criminals...by the way, I'm a RETIRED VETERAN & I HAVE 2 MASTER'S DEGREES...SO GO FIGURE!!!!!!! Then I inquire about a wig, the Korean women informs me that the wig is $39.99 but it was as if she was implying that I couldn't afford it. I said okay, "Let me try it on". She gave me a stocking cap and I tried it on. I didn't like the color, so she found two other wigs in the color I asked for. But WHY were the two wigs in the package marked for $43.99 instead of $39.99 like the display wig...it was the same brand and same style but higher priced. I didn't debate nor ask questions because I know how they are...the act like they don't understand English but mighty funny they understand "Black Dollars". I thought about it and decided not to buy anything because I didn't appreciate being following, the difference in prices and the prices of all of the store's wigs are suddenly $10 - $20 higher compared to "Before C19". I left the two packaged wigs on the counter and walked to the front and as I was walking off, the Korean lady asked me, "Where's the two wigs" and I replied, "On the counter". I went up front counter to pay for the stocking cap (.54 cents and of course it was taxed). As I was standing at the register, I saw a wine purse/bag hanging on the wall above the cash register and I took a picture and it clearly stated, "Bad Bitch Fuel". The purse/bag added insult to injury because again, beauty supply stores clientele is 99.9999% Black People, so "WHO IS" the purse/bag representing??? Now of course, Black People have no problem calling each other the "b word" BUT NOT ALL OF US ARE IN AGREEMENT WITH THAT WORD!!!! AND WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT PURSE/BAG WOUBLDN'T BE IN A "ALL WHITE STORE" WHERE KOREANS ARE SELLING JUNK!!!!! I snapped the picture, paid for the stocking cap, got my change and departed from the store. What I really didn't appreciate in the store was being watched like I'm a thief and "HOW" can someone steal something when just about every single product in the store has security sensors on then...even items that are priced at .99 cents. Then customer service is very cold and direct because the people running this business have only one interest in "Black People" and that our "Black Dollars". But as for me, I've decided to leave beauty supply stores ran by Koreans alone because the obvious is they have ZERO respect for the people who support and make them rich (BLACK PEOPLE) and their attitudes suck. And let me not fail to mention, they really don't know much about the products they sell in Black Neighborhoods to Black People...so WHO really set them up in OUR NEIGHBORHOODS in the first place??? I frequent this store and have not had any issues until today. Yesterday, they sold me a bag of hair that had previously been opened. I bought 7 packs in total and didn't notice until I went to return it. They refused to accept the return. I guess from a business standpoint I understand, but he wouldn't even investigate the packaging or give me the benefit of the doubt as a regular customer. I already feel like it is expected for me to steal when I go in with the number of cameras present and staff that harass/help you as you shop. I'm super disappointed with this establishment and will not return. I would like to encourage them to not do business in a community where the thought is that everyone is a criminal. Sad. read more
