Vimmi, I am unsure what your thought process was. I've been coming to you for years and can't believe I even have to say this. You spoke so negatively about what my friend did to my hair with the layers and color, but what you did was far worse and you charged me significantly more than usual. You assured me that my hair would turn into a dirty blonde shade after a few washes, but instead, it's coppery and orange. The way you styled my front bangs makes no sense, I can't even wear my hair down because it looks ridiculous. I regret feeling guilty about expressing my dislike when you showed me the result at the salon, but I can't continue like this. People keep asking me what happened to my hair. The layers are so uneven and messy that I'm too ashamed to even go outside. I paid $300 for this and I've been crying every single day since I got it done. my hair doesn't blend well with each other at all. It feels even thicker than before. So i read the reviews but i wanted to see for myself.... unfortunately they're true. The owner is doing the bare minimum to keep the store safe and sanitized. I had to ask her to clean the chair that was just used and put a mask on before she served me. I had to ASK. On top of that, my eyebrows are thin as hell. She did not listen to what i wanted, which was naturally thick. She's a kind woman but i think I'm gonna stick to my regular who charged $6 less than she does. read more

These are the ladies that used to be at Fusion salon off of Barrington Rd. These ladies are proof that good customer service is essential. I go about every two weeks to get my eyebrows done. I have been going to them for at least 3 years. They all do a fantastic job. They are all nice and personable; they make an effort to know their clients. This is probably my worst experience with any solan ever. I went into get waxed and the person doing it was not happy she had to wax instead of thread, my lips and chin. She applied the wax that was too hot and then ripped the cloth numerous amounts of times trying to get the hair out, when I started tasting blood I asked her why she was ripping the skin and she said it was just a little nick!!!. NOT SO. Then I mentioned she would have to clean and disinfect the skin abrasions she grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and sprayed my whole face with this. Talk about pain!!! I corrected her on stopping to RIP the cloth in a repeated motion then she decided to thread the left overs. When I woke up this am my face and chin had large scabs all over the area she abused. I went back to alert them and the prior owner stuck up for the employee but gave my money back. Big deal. She needs to get rid of this women she has no idea how to wax ure face. I love Lavish! I have been coming here ever since the salon was "Fusion" in Hanover Park and then renamed to Lavish and relocated to Streamwood. I drive the extra 10-15 minutes from Schaumburg here to get my brows done. They're never too thin and have shape. The ladies are always so friendly and keep good conversation. Here to add to the horrible reviews unfortunately. I was a customer for years however I will NEVER go back. First off, the workers especially the owner Do NOT take their time on your eyebrows. Sometimes they come out okay but most of the time they rush through them and they come out different. My eyebrows have been overthreaded. I LOVE Angel and she is a brow beast!!! Its unfortunate she works at this salon however. The owner is a nasty and rude, she cares nothing for great service, only wants your money and it shows. She always rushed through my eyebrows charging me 10 dollars everytime Id come instead of 7 since i hadnt been to "their" salon regularly. Screw them im going to amore from now on!! read more

The ladies here are very friendly. They always welcome they clients by name from the moment they walk through the door. I've never had a problem making an appointment even if I call at the last minute. Their eyebrow threading service is amazing. There is a constant flow of clients getting their eyebrows done with and without appointment. I've visited many, many salons to try to find someone who can manage my hair and the stylist here is the best I've found. Their prices are reasonable and the products they use are high quality. I just went here to get some threading done really quickly. I live close by and was really excited to try a new place in my neighborhood! It was open and it says walk-ins are welcome so I thought 'great!'. Alas, I can't review the actual services because I was unable to actually get it done. I walked in and there was no person behind the counter. No biggie, I'll wait. I made eye contact with the stylist just to the side of the counter and she immediately ignored me. I thought maybe the hostess was in the washroom? Wrong. I timed it...7 mins later I made more eye contact with the stylist and she ignored me again. I left, never to return again. I wish I could give a great review and say I was going back but I can not. Their lack of overall customer service was a really big turnoff and I will never be back. Made an appointment, stylist was late 40 minutes, out shopping. Other stylists started the process and then continued. Original stylist never touched my hair, hello, that is why I made a specific appointment. Hair color came out ok after 4 hours in the chair, they didn't apply to the root line so I can't wear a ponytail now. Very frustrating, I don't have a problem paying but please, please give me what I ask for. They knew I wasn't happy and offered a refund but being in the service industry I would not feel comfortable taking the refund. Just wish I would have gotten the exact look I expressed to them at the consultation. read more

She has always given me bad service since the days of their past location on Barrington Road (Fusion Salon). I once went in to their former location, not knowing of their cash only policy for under $10 (which is illegal to do btw) and when it came time to pay, she never even once said "I apologize for the inconvenience, it's cash only..." instead, she was a complete jerk about it and actually expected me to leave my phone with her as collateral while I get cash from an ATM. HA!!! what a joke! If you're looking for waxing/threading and you want good customer service and great prices...go to Amor Beauty Salon on East Ave and Irving Park Road. $4 dollar eye brow threading....AND you can pay with card! I went there yesterday (1st time) to get my eyebrows threaded . The lady that was there told me to wait a couple of minutes & someone was going to be with me shortly. The hair dresser and customer went off for a good 20 minutes about how they (their race) made America with all the free labor years ago and they fixed the economy we have today with the work they've done. After 15 min I asked how much longer and she again said "just a couple more minutes." I ended up leaving after 25 minutes of waiting. I will never be back there again. She made me feel very welcomed and talked to me as if I was a client of hers for a long time! I Highly recommend for everyone to try this place out. I used to get my eyebrows done here. I loved the young lady who would do them for me and how they turned out. I decided to try them for getting my hair colored. I had scheduled the appointment with the young lady to do it. When I got there, the owner ended up doing my hair instead. Her and the lady I wanted to do it stood in front of me arguing for 5 minutes about whether or not to lighten my hair before dying it. I have dark brown hair and wanted a medium/light bright red. The lady who I had asked to do my hair kept telling the owner to lighten it, but the owner didn't want to. The owner did my hair and I didn't like the way it turned out. I asked to get it redone and have it lighter. The owner rescheduled me and then CHARGED me to have it redone even though it was HER mistake. I am not one to usually complain, but that was the most unprofessional and greedy experience I've ever had. First you give me the wrong hair dresser, then you argue in front of me, then you make me pay twice for something I didn't like. That's wrong. read more
