Viral for their banana bread matcha latte and the reason I came to check it out for myself! Upon arriving around 2PM, there was a huge line in the store that looped all the way to the back already. I still waited to check it out and it was about a 30 minute wait time from the door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is small so it was very crammed with everyone lining up there - hardly able to pass by if you're trying to get to the back seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got the banana bread matcha latte that's made with ceremonial grade matcha topped with vanilla sweet cream and comes in one size only. The drink was good and tasted exactly like a banana bread with a hint of matcha. My friend loved it since she loves banana bread. I liked it too since I also like banana bread but it's not something I'd love to have as a drink often. This is something that is worth a try to see what the hype is about. I wouldn't necessarily come back just to have this though.

Recommended. Cozy cafe with fresh banana breads, my go-to, always reliable! $2.75. Their drinks are super popular too but I go for the foods ;)

Got the famous banana bread matcha just in time since it's leaving the menu end of may. One size, iced only, you can modify the milk option with extra $1. No line and the drink came out within 3 minutes. Was expecting it to be super sweet but it wasn't. Had the banana bread taste, not matcha taste if you mix it. Wouldn't crave it, but glad I tried it.

. tried the tiktok famous forget me not cafe! . definitely lived up to standards, super cute, the menu is fairly condense with milk substitutes . the banana pudding latte ofc sold out! but this was alsssoo really good . a little on the sweeter side but the perfect amount . the cashier was nice and easy going, drinks made fairly fast . [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place is small and crowded but definitely made the most of what room what given[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]also has a really cute wall with small/local business items[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A charming cafe with Korean/japanese inspired drinks [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small cafe with limited seating and various plugs around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of people at all times of the day working and can get fairly loud sometimes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks are tasty although a bit expensive and small but a good place to get takeout. I might prefer the ossington location more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]-1 due to a lot of fruit flies[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I heard about the viral Banana Bread Matcha drink so I had to try it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe is small but very busy and popular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The barista works fast and makes good quality drinks. The matcha tasted exactly like Banana Bread and was happy with it. It does only come in one size and is a small portion. It cost $7.36 for the matcha.

Came here this morning after a workout class. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot, right on the corner. On the smaller side. However, there are two tables to sit at outside, smaller tables inside and two other rooms to sit and enjoy your coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came around 12:30 and it was fairly busy, didn't have to wait long for drinks. My boyfriend got the double espresso and rated it a 8.5/10! I got the matcha latte with a shot of vanilla and it wasn't the best matcha I've had, but definitely quenched my thirst. We wished there had more bites to eat instead of just pastries. I would definitely come back here to try a coffee drink...

Get the scone.. don't think about it twice. Just get the scone. Pillowy, great flavour and tastes home made! 10/10 Nutella latte was a too sweet for me... 7/10

A friend recommended this Korean cafe and I loved it! They have basic coffee options (lattes, americanos, etc) and specialties like dalgona latte, hojicha latte, and non-caffeinated drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is clean and decorated with plants and charming accessories.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a couch in the furthest room back where you can catch up with friends, and other smaller tables in the front and middle rooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the iced hojicha latte (50% sweetened) and it was perfect. If you haven't had hojicha before, it's a roasted Japanese green tea with a distinct flavor. I find it's less "Earthy" than most other types of green tea. I also had a Nutella croissant, which was as good as it sounds. I really liked this cafe and am glad I was able to visit!

Such a cute and aesthetic little cafe! Lots of fun Korean inspired drinks on the menu like dalgona latte, and they have caffeine free options too. They also offer yummy looking pastries and desserts. I got an iced black sesame latte (caffeine free) and it was so yummy! Asked for it to be sweetened and it's the perfect amount of sweet without being too much. Recommend with regular milk as well. It was a perfect refreshing drink for a warm sunny day. The service here is amazing and the staff are so friendly, and they are super quick with making the drinks as well - they make it right in front of you which is fun to watch. The space inside is so lovely and would be perfect for working. They sell adorable trinkets and mugs inside too. There are two small tables for sitting outside as well. Definitely recommend for your next coffee run!!

I tried the "viral" banana bread matcha latte. It definitely tastes like banana bread, but it's nothing to freak out about. It's good but the instagram influencers overhyped it and you can't really taste the matcha. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I will say that this cafe is very cute and staff are very friendly and service was quick even though there was a long line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

Their history in the 20th century was that they started in Berlin, Germany in 1919, but they were a Jewish family who ended up immgrating to Israel in 1933, opening their store there, and expanded locations throughout Israel. Their history in Toronto & North America (including some in the US) is much more recent since opening in 2017. Unfortunately, my closest is New York City; none in Maryland or DC area. This location is in busy downtown Toronto. We sat outside on their big patio area as the weather was warm and could enjoy the view of the buildings, people, cars, etc. Server was friendly answering our questions. I ended up getting an egg benedict with salmon in a croissant. It was creative and delicious take on egg benedict. The only issue was it was messy to eat in the croissant, but I didn't care as it was so delicious. My girlfriend got a Belgian waffle with blueberries, whipped cream, etc. It was unique and very good & sweet too as I tried a bite. Overall, this was a 5-star experience with great food, service, & atmosphere.

Service: It was not great. We sat for a while and no one took attention (we were outside and they were busy but no excuse for them -- they should do better). We had folks come in and out and were somewhat nonchalant and not attentive. Food: This was the great part of the experience. - Berries and Granola with Greek Yogurt: My brother in law got this an he devoured it and said it was great. - Farmers Breakfast: My wife got this and she LOVED it. She went back to get their Halwah Latte (which she said was just OK) - Egg white Omlette Skillet: I customized my food and it was good -- for reference I've had better only because the cheese was feta and it was unclear that this was the only option as I don't love feta. Also I'm pretty sure while I asked for egg whites there was normal egg (i.e., eggs). If you order egg white make sure the server hears you. They screwed this up for me. This is why I'm giving it three stars -- I could have made a stink but didn't think it was necessary to do so. All in all -- I'd recommend this spot to folks but don't go there thinking the service will be great.

The café itself is beautiful and has a very modern, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. It was extremely busy during my visit, which is always a good sign. Because of the rush, a few tables still had dishes waiting to be cleared, making it a little difficult for some customers to find a place to sit. The tables are also fairly close together, but that's understandable given the downtown Toronto setting. The smoked salmon croissant was the highlight of my meal. It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with ingredients that worked really well together. I would absolutely order it again. My only disappointment was the latte. It looked beautiful and tasted good, but it was served warm rather than hot. Since our breakfast arrived about 10 minutes after our drinks, my coffee had become even cooler by the time I started eating, which took away from the experience. Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and would definitely give Nonni Cafe & Bakery another try.
